Sirus, if good for anything other than making a fool of himself on the regular basis, was good at being muscle when a situation demanded it. Though in terms of lycan strength he didn't appear to be a hulking mass of a man, he, at the very least, knew where to put it. Sirus silently nodded in concurrence to Silent's wishes. It was done as far as he was concerned so when she left his sight, Sirus almost immediately set his sights on poor Will and smiled.
"Hey... Will is it? Have a seat. Silent'll be back in a few and she wants you to relax and have a smoke or two."
In no way did he attempt to add emphasis to his words as to make them appear imposing but at least he'd get a vague foreshadow of Silent's will. As long as he made no effort to remove himself from Sirus' view things would remain calm - if he put forth any energy towards making his way to the exit... Well... That was a different story.

-She had spent a good hour at the pub pacing, threatening to put darts in people, and just generally being a pain in everyone's ass but when an hour passed and she still hadn't had a word back from Dee or Zoe the worry inside her turned into full freak out mode. Slamming money down on the bar she grabbed her purse and with a too loud exclamation of "fuck this" she headed out of the pub and into the cold English air. If this whole thing was a big joke then it definitely was not funny! And if it turned out to be a joke then Dee and Zoe owed her big. Stepping to the curb Maya flagged down a taxi and practically dove her tiny self into the backseat.-
"Heathrow. Just....as fast as this fucking boat will go."
-The driver looked at her oddly in the rearview mirror but she threw the rest of her cash over the back of the seat at him like a petulent child and that got him moving. Using her cell she called ahead to the airlines and booked a flight from London Heathrow to New Orleans. The only way to do that apparently was to have a layover in New York at JFK. She said fine, fine, fucking fine, until the lady finally booked her a seat on a flight that was leaving in two hours. The cab driver better hurry his ass up.-
-There was no time to pack or to explain to Oxford that she was leaving. Her GPA and her financial aid might suffer but at that moment she didn't give a shit. In the backseat of the cab and all the way up until the flight attendant FORCED HER to turn off her phone Maya was making phone calls to every number she could think of. Sometimes she screamed, mostly cursed, but generally was finding that no one was answering their phones. Out of sheer desperation she even called Dakota in London just to see if the woman knew anything but the bitch hung up on her.-
-Maya was thoroughly frustrated, angry, tired, and maybe just a little bit tipsy from all the pints she'd had while waiting for the call. She felt like Janet Weiss trapped in Dr. Frankenfurters mansion. Where's Geller? Where's ZOE? WHERE'S ANYBODY!? Silent. No answer. Dee. No answer. Zoe. No answer. Venus. NO ANSWER! Had the entire city of New Orleans been kidnapped!? The flight to JFK was excruciating and Maya was lucky the sky marshall didn't tranq her ass because she surely looked as nervous and disturbed as the worst of terrorists.-
-When her flight landed in New York for her lay over she practically crawled over the seats to get off first and get a phone signal. There was one number that she had forgotten to try and she tried it then. She called the Hookah and said every prayer to every strange God she'd learned about in Anthropology 101 that someone would answer the god damn phone. When she heard Nyx pick up on the other end she almost screamed as she raced through the airport corridors towards her next flight.-
"What the fuck is going on down there? I got texts from Zoe and Dee saying Geller is fucking missing? Is he missing? Does anyone know anything? Do you know where the fuck Zoe or Dee are? No one is answering their goddamn PHONES!"
-The frustration she felt was clear in her frazzled voice as she shouted at Nyx and then listened to the other wolf's response. Okay, fine. Dee was alive and apparently the Geller thing was no joke because he was in the hospital. Maya slowed her pace just a bit and then something else occured to her.-
"But ZOE. Has anyone seen Zoe? Who is....motherfuck...she's Geller's goddamn cousin! I swear Nyx don't you ever hang out with anyone who isn't lunarly challenged." -Some guy was staring at her funny and Maya flipped him off as she passed.- "Look I know Zoe, she's my best friend. That girl never goes AN-Y-WHERE without her cell phone strapped to her fucking head. And if she was worried about Geller then she definitely wouldn't leave the fucking thing behind. Got me? If somethings happened to Geller then maybe the same douchebags have taken Zoe. Somebody find FUCKING ZOE NOW!!!"
-In truth she was hardly in a position to order anyone around. But she wasn't thinking about stupid pack shit right now. She was just thinking that her best friend was missing and the man who had saved her life was in the hospital. She'd have to be a pretty cold hearted fucking bitch not to be concerned and rushing towards them right about then. Slamming her boarding pass down at the gate she was practically doing a potty dance in her eagerness to be let on the plane.-
"Figure it out Nyx. Then send someone to the fucking airport in New Orleans to pick my ass up. My flight lands at ?? o'clock. I'll be coming out running so get them there early. I don't have luggage. In the meantime call my phone and leave me a fucking message if you hear ANYTHING! I cannot handle one more hour of not knowing what is going on down there."
-Nyx agreed, said she would take care of it and Maya believed her. Nyx was someone that in a short span of time Maya had grown to trust greatly. Pacing frustratedly she slammed her phone shut and then roughly shoved it in her purse. Not much longer now, she kept reminding herself, you'll be home soon.-

-With most of the powerhouses out of the room it felt easier to breath somehow and Nyx just took a seat and sipped her Stoli, smoking cigarette and talking dread care with Remi and Karma. The three of them clearly had the most bad ass hair on the planet. Everything seemed to be calming down. Even Will was finally talking to Lou. She was telling herself that everything would be fine when the phone hanging on the kitchen wall started to ring shrilly. -
"Oh what fresh hell is this?"
-Getting out of her seat she left the glass of Stoli on the table and picked up the phone with a quick "Hookah" type professional spiel. But there was nothing professional about what was coming through to her from the other end of the line. Nyx actually held the phone out from her ear a bit because Maya sounded like a damn chipmunk on crack.-
"Maya. Calm the fuck down......no.....no it's not a joke. We just found out he's in the hospital. Yeah.....YES I said Dee was just here she took Silent and Maya to the hospital." -Another round of screaming and she held the phone away from her ear again.- "Christ woman you want me to go deaf. Who's Zoe........SORRY jeez! No I haven't seen her. No one's said anything about her. Okay....OKAY! CHILL! I'll call Silent or Milo and have them send someone to look for her. Yea.....okay....yea....I'll do that too. Okay....okay..............okay. Jesus Okay! Bye."
-Hanging up the phone on the wall she looked around at the others in the room and tried to figure out how much they had heard. She could tell they had and since none of them spoke up about knowing where Zoe was she feared the worst. Things were just getting wierder and wierder around New Orleans. Picking up the phone again she almost dialed Silent's number, but remembering that the Ulfric could sometimes forget to answer her phone she dialed Milo instead and just hoped that Silent would forgive her. After all, they were together right?-
"Milo. It's Nyx at the Hookah. Look I just got a call from Maya and I need you to find out if anyone has heard from Zoe in the last...I dunno...twenty four hours or so since she sent out her text message about Geller." -Nyx waited while he asked around at the hospital and confirmed that no one there had seen Zoe. She muttered 'shit' under her breath and then said,- "Zoe's missing too now. Tell Silent that Zoe is human and Geller's cousin. She needs to send some scouts to look for her. The trail shouldn't be too old if she just sent the text message a day or two ago. Also, we need to send someone to pick up Maya at the airport. Make the choices and call me back. I'll relay the marching orders."
-Hanging up she again glanced around at the gathered group at the Hookah, her violet eyes falling on Trent last as she said.- "Looks like you were right Thing 2. Looks like it's gonna be up to some of us to save the day after all." -And then once again, it was time to wait.-

Will was listening to everything, even the phone call. He heard it all, but it meant nothing to him. He had spoken to Lou, a greeting in return to her own, but for the most part he remained silent, and let his power search out what he could find from those left behind. The one who seemed to be in charge of the group was gone, and so, this gathering seemed pointless.
He'd sigh due to that fact, and would close his eyes. He breathed lightly and as calmly as he could, even with the yelling he heard from the other side of the phone. He didn't need enhanced hearing to hear what this Maya person said.
-Apparently this was the day for handing out orders. The phone on the wall rang again shortly and the sound was starting to jangle her nerves. Picking it up she took in the information from Milo and answered in the affirmative. Nyx asked a question or two, just getting straight how things were at the hospital, and then she hung up the phone.-
"Change of plans I guess." -Her thin shoulders shrugged as she turned towards the group still in the back room of the Hookah.- "Otis. Milo wants you to go to the airport to pick up Maya and take her to the hospital. She's about five feet tall with blonde hair and....you'll recognize her beast. Trent, Lou...she wants you two to book it over to Gellers to meet Ash and go look for Zoe."
-This was the point where Nyx just sighed and looked at those who were left, especially poor Will who had picked the craziest night on earth to show up. Now, Nyx didn't disrespect Silent. In fact she loved the woman. But sometimes a pup just has to be disobedient. This was one of those times.-
"Look, Silent said to keep Will here but....if I know her she's probably about to come out of her skin wanting something to do with herself right now and Sirus you look like your heart walked out the door with Dee Dee. And Jesus Laney, if you get any more mopey about being left out of the action I might just shoot you myself." -Nyx threw up her hands in frustration.- "Sirus, Laney, why don't you two just take Will to the hospital with you so Silent can talk to him. It'll give her and you two something to do and it'll mean Will can actually go about his own life at some point in the near future. If Silent gets mad just point her my way. She whoops my butt enough as it is so what do I care."
-That left Nyx, Remi, and Karma unless there was someone in the building hiding out or something. Looking at the two female rats she shrugged.- "What do you say ladies. Wanna stay here, get piss drunk, and help me be Phone Queen of the New Orleans Lycan Call Center?"
Otis was doing his thing, watching the floor and drinking some Jack, not so much different from his bouncing days. His lips twitched when the phone rang, it was Goldilocks' expression that was so fuckin' funny. "Ya need to start answerin' the phone right. Yanno somethin' like 'Shifter Central, where can I direct ya too?'" He was already moving though, setting his bottle on the bar and moving to where Karma and Remi were to give them each a quick squeeze. "I'm playin' chauffeur, you girls play nice now." They each got a swat on the ass too, just because.
"I hope this chick can deal with a bitch pad." Go figure, Otis got here on his bike and while stealing a car was an option he didn't think that they needed to go to that extreme. "Blond mini-wolf. I got it." Goldilocks got a little tug on one of those long dreads before he headed for the door, hand lifting to touch the brim of his hat in a farewell to the others.
It didn't take long for the roar of the Harley filled the air as he headed for the airport to go pick up Blondie.
-------
At the airport he looked for the international arrivals, having gotten at least some of the details about Blondie's flight. He was getting the normal evil eye from airport security, what do you expect, he was a big dude, unlit cigar clamped between his lips, beat up fedora and dark shades all helping to obscure his features. Then there was the black vest with no shirt, faded and torn blue jeans with the chain of his wallet hanging nearly to his knee and a pair of biker boots. Not your every day international traveller. The Big Ol' Rat was doing his thing, scanning the crowd, searching for the scent of wolf in the canned air of the terminal.
Lou looked up when the phone rang, head canting as she listened to the instructions from Nyx. She blinked in surprise at her assignment but then realized she'd been living in New Orleans all this time, in some ways she probably knew the city better then most of the others because of it. She nodded to Nyx, closing her sketchbook and sliding it away in her pocket as she stood. A quick glance at Trent, "Um... do you have a car? I mean, you can ride on the back of my bike... " no, she was not going to say 'bitch pad' but... yeah, that's what it was called.
She waited for his response before heading out of the Hookah with him, giving a wave to the others as she left.
-Ugh! Planes were now her new least favorite thing. When the flight from JFK to New Orleans finally landed Maya felt like a bundle of raw nerves. She probably looked like hell too since she'd been in the same damn clothes without a bath for close to twenty four hours now. Her fluffy blonde hair was pulled back in a ponytail thanks to a flight attendant who'd had an extra one and her eyes looked frenzied from lack of sleep and too much tension. At least she had some fucking lipgloss in her purse which she swiped across her pouty lips just as the plane was landing.-
-Yup. Maya was a five foot nothing blonde baby doll with fire in her eyes and a pink rockabilly dress on that was the worse for wear. She was ready to take on anything. And the first thing she took on was getting the fuck off the plane and to a bathroom for a quick piss. Then she headed out to the curb while checking the message left by Nyx on her phone. The description of her ride made it obvious who was there for her the second she stepped out on the curb.-
-Steeling her nerve the tiny blonde wolf stepped right up to Mr. tall blonde and hillbilly. She slung her purse strap over her shoulder with the same flare that a soldier might shoulder mount his gun, and without hesitation she grabbed Otis's shoulder, pulled up the hem of the pink and white gingham dress, and mounted the bike like a pro. Dance training had it's advantages. Hunkering down behind him her face fit snugly against his back but her voice was clear.-
"Alright Mad Max. Hit it. I don't have all fucking day."
-And for an adorable and rumpled blondie she still had a mouth on her.-
Holy shit. My do people come and go quickly here!!! Remi shook her head, as things seemed to kick into high gear, and the two wolves and Milo took off. Leaving her with the little blond Karma, and Otis, and the other wolves. Leaning back aginst a counter, she crossed her arms, listening.
The phone call though had to be the most interesting part of the evening. Smirk curling her lips as she listened to the shrill voice on the other end, and the look on Nyx's face as she talked to her and answered her questions. With new orders being handed out, she arched a brow, as Otis was sent to the airport. Then Nyx telling the others to take off to the hospital.
If some crazy ass wacko was targeting lycans, was it really a good idea to split them all up? Though she supposed since they were all in groups, it wouldn't end to badly. And there seemed to be at least one stronger lycan with each group. The swat to her ass, had her foot comming out as she spun a bit, and connected her booted foot to Otis's ass in a light shove as he made it out the door. Smirk on her lips, she shook her head, and turned her attention back to Karma and Nyx.
"Aye, well given a choice between staying and manning the phone while getting shit faced, and going out and possibly gettin meself kidnapped? I'll be after choosin the drink, to be honest." The grin was in place, and she grabbed Otis's discarded bottle of jack, lifting it and takeing a drink. Letting the liquid warm her throat and the rest of the way down.
Amber eye's glanced from Nyx to Karma again, and she gave a lopsided little grin. "Hell of a way to meet new friends though eh?"
Blondie was easy to pick out of the crowd. Even in that bright pink dress she had the prowling gait of shifter and the power snapping off of her just made him grin. He didn't even have a chance to act like a gentleman and say hello or anything like that. Nope, that little firecracker just yanked up her skirt and settled behind him. "Damn Blondie, in a fuckin' rush or what?" But he was grinning as he said it. One had patted the leg she'd snugged against his hip sliding calloused fingers up along her thigh before starting up the bike. Hell yeah he was grabbing a quick little feel. "Hang on Blondie." A quick twist of the throttle and the big Harley was on the move, tearing away from the curb leaving a trail of rubber behind him.
Now he felt like a piece of luggage, being told where to go by someone he didn't know, with people he didn't know, to go to the hospital and see someone he didn't know.
All in all, he didn't know.... He remained in that corner as long as he could, before he'd be forced to leave with Sirus and Laney.
-Thing 1 and Thing 2. Well, it wasn't too far off. Trent's head was literally spinning, and watching Lou draw was about the only piece of sanity in the entire mess. Then news was coming in and orders were being handed out and he was pretty sure that at any moment he was just going to drop dead of shock or exhaustion or maybe both. But he thought about Zoe and cracked his knuckles and just nodded at Nyx's suggestion. Shoving his cigarettes and lighter into one of his pockets he turned to follow Lou.-
"Uhh, I have my van out back but honestly she's none too spry. We'll probably move faster on your bike."
-Not to mention that the giant band van was about as unobtrusive as a golf shoe to the head. When going on a secret mission it wasn't exactly the best vehicle. So Trent followed Lou to where her bike was and climbed on behind her. He didn't mind that he was in the seat traditionally reserved for females. His pale arms looped around her waist and now they definitely looked like the red headed Dr. Seuss characters.-
"I'd make a smart ass comment, but I think this night has drained all the sarcasm out of me."
-Then the bike started up and before he knew it they were on their way back to Geller's house, Trent's house, or the scene of a crime depending on what they found.-
Unfortunately he had been given an order from Silent not to allow Will to leave and by the looks of it he wasn't mentally equipped to deal with a congregation of strangers telling him to do this and do that, so as far as Nyx's invitation went, which Sirus truly wanted to indulge in, had to be declined. He wouldn't suffer Silent's rage again, not after all this time he'd spent trying to get back on her good side and if Nyx tried to take the wrap for him that would only stoke a towering inferno. With a simple shake of his head he remained at his seat next to Will, resolute to keep his golden word to her.
"I would desperately love to leave the Hookah, but an order's an order, and I'm not about to break Silent's trust."
Sirus frowned while throwing his shoulders up in defeat.
"Besides, Will doesn't look like he wants to go anywhere anyway. I'll keep him company."
"Uhh, I have my van out back but honestly she's none too spry. We'll probably move faster on your bike."
She had to smile shyly at his words, "Another time, if you want I'll take a look at it. I know bikes better then cars but..." she gave a little shrug. Metal was metal and engines were engines, she'd figure it out. A light tremor danced through her as he so casually wrapped an arm around her, not disliking the touch, simply not as used to it as she should be. She leaned against him as they walked through, matching her pace to his. They were a pair, vertically challenged and redheaded.
"I'd make a smart ass comment, but I think this night has drained all the sarcasm out of me."
She lead him out to where the Triumph was parked, having simply taken the nearest running bike from the shop when she left today. "Hop on." She waited until he was settled before giving the starter a firm kick, the engine coming to life with a roar. "hang on." She grinned back at him before angling the bike out into traffic, following his directions to Geller's place.
So, he would not have to leave the Hookah. That was a blessing and a curse. He wouldn't be toted around town like a piece of luggage, but at the same time, he would still have to sit in town and be watched like an untrained pup. It's probably what they thought he was. He was insulted by hit. He wouldn't waste his time putting on a display of power to refute it, for the one he would have to convince wasn't here. Who cared what Sirus thought, it would be Silent he needed to speak with.
He'd remain leaned up against the wall, arms folded over his chest, legs criss-crossed at his ankles, as head was tilted and eyes allowed to gaze out a window, outside. His body would go completly still as if he were suddenly planted into the ground. The flow of energy would intensify directly about himself as he slipped into that meditative state.
Wouldn't you know it, she would get left behind again!! The young wolf would have growled at the prospect of having got her gun, a few other weapons and then getting stuck behind at the Hookah while everyone else went off to go find out what the hell was going on, but what would have been the point? And if she only knew that Ash was getting into another vamp fight without her she would have been climbing the walls with unreleased aggression.
Instead, Laney was sitting as calmly as she could in the corner, smoking a cigarette and eyeing the other two wolves who'd been left behind as well. For as complacent as she looked, the young girl was on edge, her nerves stretching so taut that just about anything could make her snap. This day/night, whatever, had been moving from one disaster to another with an annoying frequency that was akin to nails being dragged down a chalk board.
What could be any worse for her at the moment? One would think that nothing could top off the list of reasons for her foul mood, but there was even more. Sitting in a room with a couple of wolves she didn't know, was it. Talk about trust issues, and yeah, she had those in spades. Her foot started tapping out a dizzying cadence on the floor as she tried to keep herself from flying off the handle or doing anything particularly impertinent. Not that she cared what people thought of her, but she didn't particularly want a bad report of her behavior getting back to Ash and the hell of more training she would have to go through for such a show.
Giving a huff, she squirmed in her seat until she damn near broke the back of a bench with a deafening crack because she'd sat forward and then back way to fast putting all of her strength in the motion. Hazel eyes widened for a second and then she frowned ruefully, picking up her cig and flicking ashes in the tray before taking another deep drag. "Fuck! For what reason did I get relegated to purgatory??" She mumbled under her breath, well aware that she could still be heard by the others.

-Milo and Otis rode on Otis's chopper back to the Hookah with a promise to meet the brothers Black back at their place. With any luck the boys had gone ahead and called Remi and Karma telling them to be on their way. The night was finally winding down and even Milo was ready for naked bedtime. At the Hookah Milo dismounted Otis's chopper and climbed onto his own bike. Just in case the brothers had forgotten he called the Hookah and gave Nyx the message to send the rats straight to the brothers house. Then Milo and Otis pulled away from the Hookah in a roar of engines and headed for Frik and Frak's place.-
-Nyx had turned on some music, the Sneaker Pimps, playing at a low volume from somewhere in the kitchen. Generally though as the night wore on she was just struggling to stay awake in case the phone rang. When it finally did she was so glad for some news that she climbed over the table in the booth to grab the phone off the wall. But, it wasn't news, just Milo handing out more orders.-
"Alright I'll tell them, but..."
-He had hung up on her before she could ask for details from the hospital. Slamming the phone back into its cradle she huffed before turning violet eyes towards the two female rats.-
"Milo says for the two of you to head over to Frik and Frak's place. Apparently the rats are camping out there tonight and then if no one else has disappeared by morning I guess you'll both get to go home."
-Slim shoulders shrugged as she went to put some of the bottles away and clean up around the kitchen. Once Karma and Remi were ready to go she walked them out and locked the door back behind them. Now there were only four of them left at the Hookah and one of them was a complete stranger. Yawning Nyx leaned against Sirus's shoulder where he sat and flicked him in the ear.-
"That's it. I'm going to bed. If anyone needs me or if anyone else disappears just scream bloody murder and I'll come running. So you're on phone and guard duty or whatever it is you're doing." -She indicated Will and then held a hand out to the other man for a polite hand shake.- "Nice to meet you Will. Sorry you picked such a righteously bad night to come around."
-Flipping her dreads back over her shoulder she left the boys to figure out their own routine and went towards where Laney was sitting. Leaning over the other woman she brushed her cheek to hers.- "If you wanna come get some sleep with me you're welcome to share the bed. That way when Ash gets back you'll be all rested up and ready for the killin'. Or whatever you two do together."
-Nyx wasn't exactly sure of the dynamic between Laney and Ash but she knew that the only near certain way to convince the girl to sleep was by suggesting that by sleeping she would have more time with her mentor and be more likely to join him on his next assignment. Still, whether Laney followed her or not, Nyx went upstairs and promptly fell the hell to sleep. Nyx out.-
Karma had been playing a game of solitaire with herself and taking drinks from the bottle of Jack that Milo left behind...then Nyx gave the newest announcement from their King and she was only too happy to obey. Giving a hug to Nyx she would follow Remi outside and into their seperate cars to go join the rest of the Rodere for some much needed R&R at the brothers house.
