Ash closed the sliding glass door behind him as he walked outside the pack house and into the cool grip of the night air. Around him he could hear the sounds of the bayous, the small creatures going about their nightly routine in the moonlight bathed swamps. Moving towards the patio table and chairs he pulled out a seat near Lou, distracted for a moment as he keyed in a text message to send to multiple recipients.
"Come to the pack house tonight. Alex needs us."
It was a simple message and might have been managed through metaphysical means, but he hated to waste power when technology could do the trick well enough. Sending it out to the others he hoped that at least some of them had stayed in town for the holidays. If anyone answered he would tell them to come around the back when they got there, that way whatever Geller needed to do in the living room wouldn't be interrupted. After that he sent a text message to Silent.
"Sil, come back to Nola. Alex needs you."
Hitting the send message on that one he hoped that Silent and Nyx could get here sooner rather than later. With any luck they might have already left Salem to make it back by Thanksgiving. He slipped the phone back into his pocket as he looked around the table at the others, and then all they had to do was wait.
Venus was already in route to meet up with Silent to spend some time in Salem. Geller had already suggested to picking her up for Thanksgiving invitation to the families home. So as she was packing and eluding the scene with her and Paulie she responded to her Ulfric. It was brief and to the point to keep his stress levels subdued knowing his summonings would have everyone coming without any hindrences. That is what this pack was a group of everyone working together.
I’m nearing Silent and Nyx in Salem. I’ll bring them as soon as I can to you in New Orleans. You can count on me Ash. --- Venus

Silent had been on edge all night. Something just was not right as the nun from the Madeline books would say. She couldn't tell you what it was..It was just something she felt deep down...Like a emptiness..Only not the normal one..Like..Well it was hard to explain. So when Ash's text sounded in the quietness of the kitchen Silent almost jumped out of her skin...Those tri colored ones meeting Nyx's violet ones.Nyx, who was in the middle of chopping veggies for the gumbo stared at Silent as if she had gone crazy.
Giving her pup a award smile she would wipe her hands on one of Memphis's old aprons that hung on the side of the fridge. Grabbing her phone she would ignore the what's it about look. After a moment she would look at Nyx.
"Ash is calling us home. Alex needs us...Text him back..Let him know well be soon."
That's all Silent needed. Silent loved her skoll. That was the closest thing Silent would ever have to a daughter...And Nyx was Silent's in everything but blood.Snce the adoption when Nyx was fourteen. But that was another story. Sil loved her hellbilly. Alex had been part of the original pack of New Orleans. Silent would call the Capt and have him come grab whatever she missed. Not long after she was off the phone with the Capt was Venus calling,
"Were ready, Whatever is missed Capt is gonna get for us....Yea well meet you in a hour."
