Gabriel was alone in the store, he most often was during the day. an apothocary shop wasnt too useful to the non magical types and the magical types most often went out at night. At least it allowed him a chance to get caught up on his hobby.
Several pairs of sharp sheers where placed down on the counter top, sitting upon an old rag. the tools themselves where clean, and perfectly sharp. though the rag had seen better days. He hadnt started yet, becasue it took a special kind of mind set to actually do it. and well. he had to burn some down a little bit. which he was currently coming back inside from doing. the obvious smell of 'not tobacco' smoke following him into the shop.
Carefully he pushed himself up into the stool he'd pulled back behind the counter. picking up a surgically sharp x-acto knife. he examined the knife carefully before he set to work...
On the new Bonsai tree he'd started. it was a new breed, this one growing to look like a fully grown oak tree. but only standing about a foot and a half tall at it's highest point. Magic helped, yeah. but even with that, nothing beat actually taming a plant to your will by training it, as one did with bonsai trees.
After serveral phone calls and days of research, Ren finally had her shopping list in hand and was ready to gather her supplies. Even if she really was just winging it, she had to give it a shot.
--------------- Boline Mortar and Pestle Hand Scythe various ceremaic containers Horehound St. John's Wort, Vervain yard of red and white cloth, cut into 4 pieces -(this has a check mark by it)
two bundles of sage ------------------
It was apparent, that this was not Ren's first time in such a shop, though it was for this particular shop. Paper in hand, she took a deep breath and opened the door. The energy that magic brought always sent a small shiver down her spine, and this place was no exception. Real magiks tinted the air. Good. It ensured that she was getting the right ingredients and not some mashed basil from someone's kitchen.
