It was 7:30 in the AM and the sun had not been up for very long. but James had been. afterall he'd hacked his brain into accepting a few hours of sleep in order tojump right into REM which meant he got a full nights sleep in just a couple of hours. Today was going to be an interesting day. if only because he'd found out that Alastrina didnt finish high school. a bit of an awkward conversation with her mother over the phone about it. but! he'd gone down to the local high school and got her all set up to finish high school.
Today, was going to be the first day for her. and it was going to be a surprise. He was wearing a suit already. wanting to dress nice for going out to take her to school for the first time. a hard knock to her door, three knocks and then he wraped the door frame with a tuning fork. a high pitched ring filling the house. just loud enough to be irritating. a sort of alarm clock. not magic this time though, science.
"Alastrina! Time to get up and Dressed." his tone firm and authorative leaving no room for arguement" Ten minutes." he finished with and started away, he stopped again and returned."You should dress like a proper lady as well." becuase she was going to school. and you couldnt dress like a harlot and go to school. at least that was how it was when he was in school. down the stairs he went, starting on breakfast for her.
Trina was sleeping nice and sound in her bed. Snuggled within her blankets. Just about to get into a good dream when she heard the knocking. First she had thought it was her dreaming. Then she heard the other two which made her pop open a eye to look at her bedroom door which James was knocking on. Then look toward her clock as she groan lightly.. " But James it only 7: 30 in the morning ...usually you let me sleep in..." Then she heard him yell the ten minute request she make a face at the door which James couldn't see.
Then that stupid ringing noise started as she would roll out of the bed as she would yell. " Alright Alright I'm up.." Then would began to go through her clothes to find something to wear. Placing on a multi-color T-shirt with black jeans and some sneakers. Then would brush fingers through her blonde strands of hair . Then would make her way downstairs to the kitchen as she cover her mouth as a yawn escaped. " Now what in the world is this.." Sliding into a stool looking at James.
James was cleaning his hands off with a bar towel when she came down and sat down at their breakfast bar. a pan picked up from the stove and scrambled eggs where placed on the plate in front of her, the remainder on a plate sitting on his side of the bar.
"good morning young lady." a smile offered to her, before he opened his oven. the towel was removed from his shoulder and used to grip a plate with bacon on it. a few bits of it placed down on her plate, the others on his own." Well, this is breakfast..." a slight grin up at her then. " perhaps your mother was right, and you do need to go back to school." he picked up a bit of his bacon and munched it down. "Today, is your first day of your senior year of high school. I took the liberty of enrolling you yesterday." his attention turned tot he ice box, and a bottle of orange juice was pulled out, two glasses were filled, one was taken from for himself, the other was offered over to her. "you've missed the first semester so, we'll be playing catch up at home after school. in addition to your magical studies." drinking his orange juice down in one drink.
" You did what ? " ~ The look on Trina face would make anyone roll on the floor laughing. Her hands would grip the table of the breakfast nook as she stare at James ~ " What are you talking about that you when down to the local high school and enrolled me ? " ~ She would groan lightly ~ " I thought I finished school....like last year..but still school really? " ~ Then she would snatch a piece of bacon off the plate and munch on it some giving James the stinky eye ~
" This is going to suck...I'm going to have h-e double hockey sticks worth a school work that I will need to catch up on.." ~ She would smirk ~ " Which would make my wizard training a lot harder ..with me having to catch up .." ~ Trying to guilty trip him out of telling her she wouldn't have to do any study for her wizard lessons until she caught up on her school work. ~

Jamison couldn't help but smile slightly, munching at his eggs and bacon while she spoke. brows up in question when she gave him the stink eye. " It will not be easy and you will have to finish your first semester again, in September, unless of course you manage to pass your classes as well as the high school equivalency exam... I talked it over with the principal yesterday."
He picked up his glass and drained it of its wonderful contents. clearing his throat and going on."Yes, yes it will make your wizardry training much harder. It could also, help you with your ability to focus... we will simply have to move your exercises into the late evening." was it a bonus that it occupied her more, and she wouldn't be able to just disappear again? as if the lojack bracelet wasn't enough . " come on... At least you will be able to show up to your first day in a nice car. finish your breakfast, and we'll go."
~ Trina would groan some more at the mention of her lessons being moved to the evening. Before she would munch on some more of her bacon and eggs. Then would make sure there was no more egg on the plate as she would run her finger across the plate to lick the egg off her finger. Then would hope off the stool and made her way into the entry way to grab her coat ~ " Just because I'm going to show up in a nice car is not going to do anything...really. Most seniors have there own cars...and well since I blow up most of the new cars . I don't think that will happen. "
~ Sliding her arms into her coat as she would wait for James as she leans against the door some ~ " Plus I don't have any of the school supplies I need for going to school " ~ She would glare at James some ..unless he pick some up for her already ~
