Alright. Its time for Truth or Dare.... so to speak although there's really no Dare involved. Its time for TRUTH.
The Truth is:
This is Bri, (Jessica/Lou/Otis etc), and for those of you that don't know me well I am one of the Founders of the LoST SLs and one of the ORIGINAL mods here's at Wicked Labyrinth.
The story is.... not so long ago I was approached by Tom (Ash/Tommy, etc etc) about a new SL. A SL where the mods would be hidden behind a generic sn so that the players would have a chance to play without being constantly bombarded with questions, whining, requests from the rest of the players. This would be a group of no less then 3 mods who would manage the SL.
I was very clear to Tom that there were people that I did NOT want to be in a SL with because of issues in the past and was assured I would be more then happy with the group. So I agreed...
And Tom, Case, Sascha, Dawn, Bex and I became the Wicked Mods.
The game grew quickly, things did well with the SL over the summer, as usual for the summer months but we did have some roadblocks along the way. Some of the mods had personal issues that kept them offline but the others were able to keep things going. We had some changes in the Mod Roster as real life infringed. Sascha left, Mel joined. Bex had an LOA. We asked Jules and Peanut to help out. All in all.... things were moving along.
Then fall came. Most of the Mods had serious Real Lift issues keeping them offline. I was here, always, but not playing much. The SL began to falter a bit and people began, as they usually do, to complain, bitch and whine.
There was a discussion amongst, not just some of the WL Mods but people who have RP'd together for YEARS from one SL to another about do we want to continue playing in WL.
At that time I was approached by Jules about having new mods take command of the SL. About continuing to hide behind the generic SN and just change the controlling faces. At that time I agreed, I would continue to monitor the MB as I always had and assist those who wanted to inject more life into the SL. My error was in assuming she had PERMISSION for this from my co-mods. I trusted her.
I was wrong.
Without consulting with the others, Jules and Justin accessed all of the Wicked Mods email accounts and MB accounts to change all the passwords, to lock out the founding Mods. Since then it has become obvious that this is a coup, one done rudely and maliciously.
There was no reason whatsoever to attack Tom over the IP addresses. No reason for any of the postings that have shown up. Last week I thought we were all friends. Today, its obvious we are not.
For those of you that simply wanted a SL to play in, I apologize for all the drama. For my friends, and you know who you are, I love you and will continue to play with you. For those 'New Mods' and those that follow them.... Karma (not the character :) ) is a bitch and I hope you get exactly what you deserve.
okay first question if you were *always* there you could probley of stopped all of the as you put it "to complain, bitch and whine." by simply giving the community a simple answer to our questions. You can log onto the mod sn, why didn't you? If someone has taken over this game from people that don't give a *uck to give a simple answer to what is going on or are they coming back? I'm happy for it. To my limited knowledge the old mods did little to nothing anyways.
You're right. I could have. I monitored the MB and that was all.
I'm not denying my own failings here. I'm simply revealing the Truth because what is happening now between the Jules & Justin and anyone they have working with them and the old mods is wrong.
This could have been handled in a much more considerate and mature way. Not a coup with vicious rumors and accusations.
Said it yourself. Limited knowlage. Such a shame that the mods might have had rl that kept them from doing stuff? How dare they not drop everything to be at our beck and call all the time. Sure it could have been handled better. Bri admitted that. But. Before you take shots get all the facts and get them straight.
