The Gift of Relaxation at the Pack Plantation (open)

Daniel felt slightly bad for spending so much time at the new business and away from the pack that he ran quickly through his brain to find a way to make amends, or at least put his mind at ease about it. Searching and searching for some way that he could give a gift that would benefit the entire population that lived full time at the pack home. After searching and searching for something with the right 'I am what you are looking for' feel to it. and by the commotion coming from the front porch of the plantation house, the young Daniel had found just the thing. Danny boy grinned at the work he had done, standing back and admiring the grand swing he had spend time assembling and hanging today. He was proud of the job he had done, assembling everything correctly, picking a style and color that matched the beautiful home, and the fact that it was cushioned for extra comfort was a plus. He made his way over to sit himself down on the swing, test the chains, and give it a test swing. "If this doesn't make up for my being gone, I will just have to go bigger and better." He smiled to himself, sitting up and pulling his red t-shirt back on. The work was done for the most part, and the extra skin was unnecessary. "Now, to enjoy the day off. Wonder if anyone is going to be around today. I would feel rather silly if I took the day off to be with the Pack and none showed up." he mused to himself, shutting his eyes and relaxing back in the new swing. "Someone will be along eventually.."

He was happy, his wolf was happy, it's a two way streak of bliss and glad to be one with the pack. A room not too far from the guy who Silent spoke to him about wasn't around. For all he know, someone named Daniel could be elsewhere. That name was common among the male population. Jesse Dawnshire held an attractive appearance, his skin tone was a dark tan making you suspect he may have been spending his years in the sun or frequented beach fronts. None of the above. It was a family history that stuck like glue. As he was finishing up piling his belongings in his new suite, the room he occupied was taken and his wolf made sure to mark it his own so that when someone crossed this one it'll have a strong smell of male, with a hint of other scents. Clothes neatly folded in the top drawer of the dresser, this contained mostly shirts for all seasons. It was still summer so he laid out light clothing and kept to shorts and pants too. For his socks, nothing but gray and black, white gets filthy too quickly so he never bought a pair of white. Socks, undergarments, the usual stuff that was kept cleaned. A blue hamper was visible near his made up bed. The bed was a comforter with star prints, complete with a starry pillow case and his wallpaper matched the bed spread. When it comes to the star landscape, he was there.

Jesse stashed his telescope in the closet for later use. A chart was plastered on the wall above his bed. This showed the constellations. Orion, Sagittarius, little and big dippers, a comet at the far right corner streaked in the sky just behind a full moon silhouette. Jesse's talent was that he can read the charts, he even had his own set of tarot cards for the purpose of readings. It was a gift of his that came when he was only five years old. The Astrologist was specifically capable of keeping in touch with his inner soul, that was something his mother said. Science substituted magic in many ways. Most laughed, telling him that the shit was not apropos and that he is just wasting his time with this kind of interest in what the stars have to say. This in fact was nonetheless connected to how witches used the stars for some of their magical connections. His mother was a full blooded gypsy, a witch by birth so once taught him a few tricks how to read what is written.

You didn't need magic, only what your heart says, she mentioned. Jesse kept the truth of his mother's paranormal secret to himself as she had sworn him to do so. His father was human, he was okay with the fact that his loving wife was a supernatural. Looking down at an empty drawer to his left, he slipped five different tarot card boxes in it then slid the compartment shut. No need to expose them out in the open. He soon thought to walk outside for it helped the other half of him, the beast needed fresh air and what can Jesse do to refuse his inner friend's needs. Slipping on his flip flops, not his walking shoes near the wall, he walked out where he noticed a guy sitting in the swing alone. He came just in time to hear the last remark. Thinking, the half gypsy happened to be available. His scent was familiar.

Same smell as that room he occupied, not sure if what Silent told him, but he couldn't be sure. Assuming this maybe him. The rattling of chains that was visible around the front of his waist, wearing loose brown pants that made him look more like a genie than a werewolf. A matching colored shirt highlighting the brown pools of his eyes showed off his pectoral stomach and chest muscles. "Talking to yourself?" He said jokingly. He leaned his right elbow a little right of where his packmate sat. A coolly remark meant to surprise that someone was behind him.

Daniel opened his eyes slowly, looking to the gentleman what moved himself out on to the porch. A little smile came up on Daniels lips, and he leaned up to place both hands on the denim of his Jean shorts. "Mm, well, I can't deny it now can I? Talking to yourself is a sign of genius, you know. It is answering yourself that is the sign of insanity." Daniel was cheerful the other wolf had joined him on the porch. He stood, approaching him directly, but paused to assess if he was going to be greeted or not. Daniel was that sort that was all about the touch, which he thought stretched much farther than words. He just wanted to make the assessment as well if his newfound friend found himself so above Daniel that he wouldn't break that gap. It wasn't the humans mind that made that choice, but the beasts nature that tested those waters immediately. "Names Daniel, Daniel Froste, nice to meet you." He seemed nice enough.

Above him? Doubt he's above anyone, let alone the law! A pleasant gaze fell on his packmate, his Tundra wolf stood on his massive padded paws, sniffing the wind for signs of an unfamiliar male on the planes that was metaphysical. Curious, the whitish-brown brute trudged cautiously in hope's neither male would meet in a very bad way, standing his ground as real wolves did when they meet in the wild face to face. Then, he walked to begin an introductory by dipping his large cranium towards the wolf, that was Daniel's beast, brushing his cheek on the left of his jaw. He managed to also collect a scent, keeping in check. Jesse was the new kid on the block, the karate kid and full time store manager at the voodoo shop in the French Quarter. Flip flops stepped forward, not ever lowering his guard around him, no matter what they are or where they come from. He did not use any direct eye contact, this particular stranger wasn't particularly as new as he pretends to be when in front of many he didn't know..or even if he did know.

He soon was more close to the other man, his scent drifted in the wind surrounding them. A strong masculine aroma mixed with the air of brine that one smells along the beach or from a cascading waterfall. There was also a hint of mountain air. A wide opened field with mountains, pine trees, and a waterfall was an image he pictured for the animal within, it is the very place he seems to love and has even taken a favorite near the water's edge. Finally, his tone was crisp and greeted him in the proper form that the beast within him did to the boy's wolf, two worlds and two different personalities. "I agree." "That was about the answering one's self bit. His beast was testing the same, for two minds are distinguished from the human shell. "Jesse Dawnshire." The kid meant no harm, for they were pack right?

Better to try to get to know half of the group in it. A few mockingbirds fluttered above them, landing on a set of tree branches away from the two standing on the porch. The view was spectular from a vantage point, he just hoped this would benefit from any other pack. There was no further comment about it, until he fully felt he belonged and trust was a long way when it comes to meeting strangers.
