It has been a good while since he heard from Brooklyn as he figured she been busy and decided now would be a good time to reach out to her. Phone in hand as he dialed her number and it went straight to voicemail.
"Hey Brooklyn it's Cast, trying to see if you needed me to work for you or not and if you still wanted me to fix your car. Call me back whenever you get this message."
He hung up the phone then proceeded to head out for a late night workout because he needed to keep his body in shape for various activities.
Brooklyn was at the rodere talking to Alex and Frank about music when the topic had changed to Frank's cooking and his bad stomach. Alex had been rubbing Frank's belly and there was an offhand comment that had been a bit awkward for Brooklyn. So she texted the caller back, after determining through voice mail who it was.
It wasn't one that she recognized as a regular number, so she caught the voice mail, and got the baritone voice of Castellan on the other end. He wanted to know if he was still needed for security, and did she want him to fix her car. So she texted the number, sliding out the QWERTY keyboard under the screen.
"Hai, Cas. Am here with Alex and Frank. Security will be gr8. I think the car is OK. Not leaking or exploded yet. Did you want to meet sum where?" then she zipped the text off to him as she sat with her half-eaten mac n' cheese waiting upon a response from Castellan.

As he walked out of his room and over to that Duoglide the text alert went off, Cas pulled his phone to look a moment seeing it was from Brooklyn, opening up his phone so he could read the text. She was with Alex and Frank two people he never met before, her car was fine which was good news, and that she asked if he wanted to meet her somewhere. Fingers went to work on that keyboard to send her a reply while he stood next to his bike.
"That's good to hear as for as us meeting somewhere, where did you have in mind?"
Hitting send as he waited for a response from her while Castellan moved to sit on the Harley to pass time.
Brooklyn patiently waited for the text message alert to go off on her phone, just a series of bells really. But Alex had been lurking nearby when the last message went off to Cas, about security for Broken Monday and he asked questions about it that Brooke had to answer. She did so, then popped off a message to Castellan. "I know a bar nearby. Its called "One Eye Jacks," at 615 Toulouse Street. "I'll see you there."
Text alert went off and he read the message from Brooklyn, knowing the place called One Eyed Jacks pretty well in fact it was a place he went to a lot and sent a message back to her.
"I'll see you there"
Castellan hit send then got onto his bike, starting his baby up before pulling out of the lot and heading off to One Eyed Jacks.
