After her shower and clothing change, Brooklyn stepped out of her room and dialed Otis, who was probably sleeping off his chicken and beer binge from last night at the rodere. Hopefully he slept off that horniness he and Alex were both ailing from too. Her cell phone wasn't successful at rousing Otis from his sleep, so she left a message on his voice mail.

"Fat Hobbit! I've got good news. The venue has been changed from Murphy's to Club Ampersand in the French Quarter. We play for a private party of 200 tonight. A teenagers Sweet Sixteen party. Before you know it, she was gone like a flash of light, on the road to the French Quarter in her VW Beetle.
