On the right side of the house the fields of sugarcane are growning.  On the left side of the house  fields where perique tobacco was growning.  The front of the house was green and grassy with tall oak tree's which blocked parts of the plantation from the road. 

The plantation has 8 bedrooms and six bathrooms.

When you enter the home the first thing that tends to draw attention is the circular stair case.  To the left was the dinning room with the kitchens behind them.  If you went down a little further behind that door was a room that was now set up much like a theater.  The first entry way on the right was a small sitting room.  Beyond the small sitting room was a visiting parlor.  The second entry on the right they would find the family room.  A room coming off of the right of the family room was a room that at one time had been used as a playroom, now it stood pretty much empty.   If you continued straight from the entry doors behind double doors was a rather nice sized ballroom, that had double doors that lead outside.

All of the bedrooms were located upstairs except for the master bedroom, which as located in the back of the house, with french doors that lead out to the pool area.

Two of the bathrooms were located on the main floor, one  in a general area the other was attached to the master bedroom.  The other bathrooms were found on the other floors.

The backyard consists of the pool, the barn with the horses and ponys, a trail for the riding along with a penned in area for the pony rides.  A newer building that looked like a garage on steroids was also located out back, where the car's were stored.  If you looked into the distance more fields which rotated crops were visible, along with six small cottages that were in good shape.
