It had been a few days since her major fuck-up with the Rat King, Milo, and Brooklyn knew that she was supposed to be learning how to be a rat, since it was Milo's intention to get her on the same page as everyone else in the Rodere. Brooklyn had been busy with her interviewing process for band members, but she still knew she needed to meet with Tommy, since he was going to be her mentor. She picked up her cell phone and dialed the number on the piece of paper that Tommy had wrote in his extremely neat handwriting.

The other line rang and rang without being picked up, and she got nervous when the voice mail came on and asked her to leave a message. Brooklyn tried to get up the nerve to say something, but she was so nervous she wound up hanging up feeling somewhat like an idiot. The number she called from would end up on Tommy's phone anyway, so when he returned the call she would get a call back and wouldn't Tommy be very surprised that it was her? She didn't know why Tommy made her nervous, maybe because he was so proper, and called her by her real name, unlike Milo or Otis, or even Alex and Theo, for that matter.

Oh well, back to the drawing board. She was down to the final four girls on her long list. None of them so far had fit the image she was trying to go with for a girl band. Maybe Nicole Monday, Hirumi Kagasaki, Charity Beckham, and Orianthi Pangaris would be the fit she was envisioning. She planned on meeting them at Cafe Beignet at 2:30 PM to discuss their future plans, and discover their dreams of being in a rockin' girls band. Until then, she kept her cell phone close by, in case Tommy decided to call her back.
