I don't even know where he is anymore, but I got my feather back. He left it laying on the bedside table. So when he left, he didn't notice it was gone.

It took me 5.5 hours to pack up all my computers, my clothes and my belongings and relocate to a new place. It's a small little apartment above a beauty shop. I smell the chemicals they use and hear the chatter of the women during the day, but at night it's quiet. That's when I work best. At night. Hey, 600 bucks a month with utilities and internet included? I won't complain.
I don't even know why I did all that following. It was curiosity and sometimes that gets the best of me. Nawww, it always gets the best of me. Sitting here tapping this out in my online journal, I feel like I'm wasting time. I got this contract from a strange little man who said he needed access. I have the access but I don't think I'm giving it to him. He seemed shady.
Which makes me want to talk to him more, of course.
Freaks abound in the city, and I love it. They're the most interesting people! They never say what you expect, and always end up giving up some important info. There's an apartment building across the street. I see lights on at all hours, but there's one apartment where a girl comes to alone. She's all blonde and moves like she's not from around here. And by around here, I mean...from this planet. She eats the same thing every night. A bowl of honey with milk poured in it and some Oreo's. Strangest thing. I need to find out more about that.
God, I love this city! It's so full of weirdness my brain circuits go full on electric. Anyway. Time to finish up some work , then find out what happens in a city like New Orleans on a Sunday.
