H I S T O R Y : Magdalene Maraschino was born Stephani Natalie Maraschino on March 28, 1983, in New York City. The only child of Italian American Antonio Maraschino, a construction worker and Jennifer Maraschino. Forced to learn to play the piano at aged four. She went on to write her first piano ballad at 11 and began performing at open mike nights by the age of 14. Stephani was raised a Roman Catholic and was sent to attend Convent of the Sacred Heart, a private all-girls Roman Catholic school on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Graduating from the private school she rented out a cheap apartment and worked on singing dancing and performing. The income that helped support her came from working as a private escort. It was one of her clients that offered Stephani a new life. He bought her a new apartment, paid for all her expenses as long as she agreed to be his private mistress. Stephani agreed, seeing that this was a great opportunity. She did not know how the high the price would be for this new lifestyle.
Christiano would infect her with the lycanthropy rat strain. Stephani was scared the first time she changed into the large tan rat that now shared her body. With Christiano's help she became Magdalene. It was three years later that Magdalene moved away from New York with Christiano's blessing and support to move to New Orleans hearing about a Burlesque club. She hoped that she could perform and sing at this new club.
