H I S T O R Y :
Rodrigo was born in Mexico City, and lived a peaceful life with his family. His life as a Lycanthrope began when he was young, despite his lack of knowledge in the matter. When he was only 8 was when he was attacked by a jaguar in the jungles around his home. He made it home alive, and was immediatly given medical attention, and thankfully survived the week, though many thought he wouldn't. However, month after month, he would shift into a Jaguar himself, and would often disappear for a few days when such occured, in order to hide such things. He was ashamed, for in that form he attacked and hurt people he didn't mean to. Most of the time, he killed them. He thought he had become a monster, and wanted to seclude himself away. Eventually though, he learned of the ancient Aztecs, and their revering of Jaguars. He learned of the ways of the Jaguar, and came to the conclusion that he was being used by the gods to punish the evil. Even later still, he found out the truth, and that he had to control the new beast within him, rather than let it control him.
In order to do so, he studied the ways of the Jaguar, and ventured into the Andes Mountains for a retreat, when he was 18. In the mountains, he met another Jaguar, a female, that was being persued by a third. The third Jaguar was out for her life, and so Rodrigo protected her. In the process, he became wounded, and sought out a cave in the mountains to heal from his wounds, and to shelter himself from the bitter cold of the Andes' snowfall. The female Jaguar remained with him, and kept him warm, and through a night of their beasts' exchanging power, he would awake the next day healed. Rodrigo followed the female, whom he later found out was a Lycanthrope as he was, and she taught him all he'd need to know about such. Her name was Lilianna Cortez, and she was from Columbia. The two fell in love, and from that day forth did everything together. The two ventured across the world aiding other Lycanthropes who, like Rodrigo, did not know what to do now that they were what they were. Such journies included a trip to Las Vegas, where the two headed an pack of feline lycanthropes without a Pard, Pride, or other such group to belong to. After leading them for a while, they extended their hand to other, non-feline, lycanthropes, and helped them cope.
However, Humans First did not care for this, and made plans to sabotage the Coalition of Lycanthropes, and set up explosives at the dance club "Claws and Paws" which was run by Lilianna's sister, Catarina Cortez. Such an event claimed the life of Lilianna, and a few other Lycanthropes present that night, while Rodrigo barely survived. After such, Rodrigo wandered ever more across the world, seeking for something to do to keep his mind off Lilianna's death, but no matter what he did, he could never get past it. Even now, though he hides his sorrow quite well, he still mourns for her.
