Magdalene was heading to the dresisng rooms after practice at B&B. Calling Dita on her cellphone she knew the Goddess of Burlesque was busy so it would head to voicemail.
"Dita, it's Magdalene. I met someone that would fill the last spot perfectly. Could you come to the club tonight? It would be worth your time. I promise. She's willing to work really hard to meet opening night. Her name is Maya. Hopefully I'll see you tonight."
She ended the call soon after. It was time for shopping!
~Dita was in the middle of meeting with the costume designer for the grand opening show when her phone vibrated within the depths of her vintage purse. Excusing herself for a moment, she stepped out into the hallway and listened to her new voicemail. It was from Magdalene. She listened carefully to the woman's announcement.~
~If Magdalene said the woman would be perfect, she would trust her judgement. Manicured, painted digits responded to her with a text message.~
"Oh wonderful! Thank you my darling. Yes, I will meet with her and let her audition for the show. See you tonight love!"
~At the end of the text message was an emoticon kiss and Dita's name.~
