After Chapman had ridden by the Plantation, and then the Hookah, she headed back home. Of course that's where the truck was parked. Which meant that Alex was inside, probably obssessing over that damned basement door again. She swung her leg over the bike and straightened, taking off her helmet. The protective gear was placed on the seat and she unzipped her 1940s bomber jacket as she moved inside, shields all but gone when she entered the residence. She moved to their room and slid the jacket off, putting it on the handle of the door. Next was her button up shirt, which she dropped in the hamper and left her in her jeans and a wifebeater. She glanced inside, making sure the small little table was set up perfectly from that morning.
Atop the table were half a dozen orchids under an ultraviolet light, with a little gardening kit off to the side. Everything was as it should be, and she could tell Ash wasn't home yet, so she moved away from the room, sniffing Alex out. Surprisingly, she wasn't lower in the house, but higher.
"ALEX!" Chapman's voice boomed through the house as she stomped up the stairs in her boots, climbing all the way to the attic.
Chapman had a project in mind, inspired by Ash and his want of a cookout. She'd glanced over the pitiful peice of work in the backyard and decided that Alex was the perfect person to help her out. First order of business, find the blond, then procure a sledgehammer, and let the hillbilly princess go at the bricks to let out frustrations and crap she had about her brother. Nothing like destroying something to help with that. Llidya had her own set of frustrations of an entirely different genre, and it made her a bit cranky, which she'd noticed at the precinct. Hopefully it was something that could be dealt with soon enough.
"ALEX!" She called out again, making her way up the attic stairs and into the dusty old area. She smelled out the shewolf instantly, the timberwolf within bounding over to greet the other on that supernatural plane.
"Whatcha doin'? Wanna help me with something? Is that a sledgehammer?" There was excitement in her voice, hence the lack of pause as she didn't wait for a reply. After the first sentence those Bahamas-clear water hues adjusted to the dimness and she'd found gold. Well, not quite, but it was still two birds with one stone. Was Llidya going to ask why Alex's brother had a sledgehammer in the attic, among various other objects of interest? Nope. All that mattered were both objectives were within reach.
The smell of Llydia as well as a few unknown scents were all over the planation when she got home. Something that further reminded Silent how lonely this place was. With Nyx always away all the time at Geller's and Alex staying more and more at the swamp house with Ash...Silent found herself more alone at the plantation. Which may have explained why she had been staying at the hookah with Logan and Lori. Though everyday she was left with twinges of guilt.
But today instead of driving out to the city to the hookah...Silent followed her beasts comand and moved threw the swampy paths that led from the ol plantation out to the Sinclair place.
"Hello?"
Silent would yell as she made her way towards the pourch. Sati and Lafayette runing bolting ahead in search of helix. The mandrid smells of those who lived here and undertones of steak were like a sirens call for Sil. Knocking on the door..Cause well Sil may be Lupa. But this was Ashes home. And well the last thing she needed to do was well walk in on them two. Sil lip would curl some. Dont think about it Sil, she told herself knocking on the door.

The attic....Well the attic was full of all kinds of cool shit, if you were to ask Alex. The previous owners apparently had forgotten that they had shit up here, or else just didn't want to be bothered with moving it. Either way, the attic was filled with a combination of Sinclair family shit, and whoever the hel had lived there before's, shit. She'd given up on getting into the basement for now. The frustration of trying to get the door open having just pissed her off. And Gellers suggestion of takeing off the hinges was going to have to wait till she managed to get a drill....but if she was getting a drill she might as well get bolt cutters too, and just go that route.
So now, towards the back of the attic, sat Alex, a large photo album in her lap, blond hair hanging over her face, as she looked through the pictures slowly by the light comming in the window, and over head. Pictures of her mother. Of a man she didn't know, but had features that looked very similar to her own and Xaviers, and made her wonder. Pictures of Alex as a kid, grinning all cheesy like at the camera holding up a kitten.....Closing her eye's and shuddering when Xavier's voice gleefully reminded her what they'd done to that kitten after the picture was taken. Pictures and pictures of her past. Of Xavier when he was younger, and didn't look quite so scruffy. But always looked scary as fuck.
Shakeing her head, she didn't hear her name being called untill Llydia came around a stack of boxes and said it again. Looking up, her eye's a little wide, she stared at the woman, who...Well for all intents and purposes was her pup. The thought still creeped her out. Closing the photo album, she rose to her feet, tucking it under her arm subconsciously, and blinked. "..Yeah...the previous owners built it, god knows when. Xavier wasn't much for grilling anything. So we never bothered to try and fix it." There was a charcoal grill out in the garage, but it was probably rusted all to hell by now.
Her eye's shifted, looking over towards the sledgehammer, and she chuckled softly, rolling her shoulder. "I have No idea why that's up here...For all i know, Xavier was going to hide a body in the chimmney or something...." .....or maybe he had? Fuck she didn't want to think about it. Again that voice laughed gleefully in her mind, with a quiet, wouldn't you like to know??? and Alex shook her head to shake it loose. The thought though of rebuilding the bbq and having a cook out sounded like a good idea. Nodding her head, she gestured to it. "grab it if you want. We can bust appart the old one, and take the truck to get bricks and shit we need and groceries. Ment to do that today anyway...."
As they made their way downstairs, Alex dropped the album off on her bed, and grabbe dher slip on shoes. wiggling small feet into them, she started down the steps, only to hear that call from Silent. A smile on her lips as the tiny blond hopped off the last step, and pulled the door open for Silent. "Hi momma" she grinned at the dreadlocked beauty.
"we're gonna go buy bricks and groceries....rebuild that busted up bar b que in the back yard to have a cook out. Wanna help?" Alex was totally oblivious today about what that might mean for Silent and Llydia. All she knew, was this would take her mind off shit for awhile. And that was a good thing.
It took a moment to dig out the sledgehammer, and her Bahamas-clear water hues glanced over at what Alex had been perusing. Lycan eyes were damn good for that. Alex headed down ahead of her, and Llidya bounded down the stairs after her to catch up. Of course, she missed her footing on the fifth to last step and did a whole, skidding the rest of the way while trying to keep her balance. It was a sort of surfing effect until she landed deftly on the floor. Chapman grinned at the near miss, knowing she deserved it for moving too fast.
She stopped short just behind Alex and looked to Silent, holding up the hammer.
"Whaddya think? I'd make a good Thor right? Yeah you wanna help? I definitely think we should get another sledgehammer," because you could never have enough of those, "and bricks, like Alex said." Llidya had mixed emotions about Silent she was still wresting through, and all she knew was that anger was no longer one of them. The wolf of hers bounded around Alex's as Llidya leaned over to greet Silent with a brush to the cheek. It was a little less awkward this time, getting more used to it.
She hoped Silent could see that this was all for distracting Alex, and maybe help her deal a little bit too.
Malcolm hadn't quite made it to the pack house just yet. Instead, Ash had dropped him at the clothing store with quite a sum of money at Malcolm's insistence, and he had purchased some clothing and made his way straight to the New Orleans City Hall to ensure he wouldn't be deported any time soon. After being told that he would have to wait a day for processing, Malcolm had hailed a taxi and returned to the hospital to arrange for employment. Dr. McFarland had left for the evening, but he spoke with a nice bloke by the name of Jodie and taken a tour. Jodie left him to his own devices when some poor fellow was brought in with gunshot wounds.
After wandering for a bit, he'd found an abandoned room and fallen asleep. A nurse had awakened him, demanding to know what he was doing and threatening to call the cops until she noted how utterly embarrassed he was, and she left him be. Malcolm left, hailing another taxi to take him to the address that Ash had provided. He said that it was in the Garden District, and if the pack was there, then it was the most inviting place in the world.
The yellow vehicle pulled up behind an old truck and a new motorcycle, and he payed the fellow and stepped out. The jeans he had on were a bit tight, but then again he was quite used to wearing slacks. He reached up with his left hand to run his fingers through his unruly hair, and turned his verdant hues turned to look at the house. It looked very bright and clean, but then he felt three familiar wolves, and a bright smile came to his face.
Malcolm walked foward, his black t-shirt blazing hot in the heat, and took in the sight of Silent, Llidya and Alex. He had only seen them a few weeks ago in his mind, but he knew it had been quite a few years to them. His beasty bounded over to Silent's beasty, near prancing with excitement. He stopped before Silent and brushed his cheek against hers before turning to nod at Alex and Llidya.
"Hullo Silent, Alex, Llidya."

The final layers of paint were drying on Maya's bike and there was nothing else to work on at the moment which meant that Lou had some time on her hands. Never a good thing because it got her thinking. She fussed around the shop for a while before finally sighing and stripping out of her coveralls. Time to get out for a while. The black Triumph was mounted and then she was off, the red curls streaming out behind her as she guided the bike along the streets.
It didn't take long before she found herself making her way out to the address that Ash had given her. She knew she had to talk to the Ulfric and it was probably best that she went looking for him rather then waiting for hi to call.
The rumble of the Triumph's engine may have announced her presence as she pulled up along the drive, kicking down the stand as she killed the engine and sliding from the seat. Her hands lifted to loosen some of the windblown tangles of her hair, making her way slowly to the house.

[]OOC note: Ok since i've had to correct a couple people, figure i should make it known so there's no more confusion. The house isn't out in the swamps. It's in the Garden District in town. There are pictures of it in Character Dwellings if anyone is curious. Ty! ^_^[]
“...So that's it?” Zack was getting into a bad habit of talking to things that couldn't actually respond in any proper manner. For one, he was never one to baby talk anything, but that changed almost as soon as he brought the still nameless white lab puppy into the house. Now, nearly everything he said was in baby talk. Except for cases such as now, where he sat staring dumbfounded at the computer monitor, watching a virtual army roll over his virtual base. “I spent the last hour...for that?” Angsting over a lost game would have to wait, though. Outside the door, different scents and voices were making their way through, and the puppy was starting to whine and scratch at it. “Alright, alright. Let's get you outside.” It was more than happy to oblige him, tearing its way downstairs to the back door.
The stomping from Llidya had him smiling a bit, though he was a bit to busy beforehand to figure out what it was all about. “Calm the hell down!” He yelled, a bit to late to be a reply. “Ya sound like you're gonna tear the fuckin' house down!!! Actually...need a hand?” In little more than red boxers, Zack chased after the pup, rather excited to see what all the fuss and commotion was about. The voices and scents were coming from downstairs, but he didn't quite expect to see both of them, Silent, and another unknown face once he got there. “I swear, if you're gonna fuck this place up and not even bother askin' me to help, I'll...Oh.” Suddenly feeling a little conscious of what he was (or wasn't) wearing, the pup looked a little embarrassed, not sure if he should go upstairs and grab another set of clothes or not, especially around a stranger. He patted the side of his legs, looking for a pocket to throw his hands into before simply shoving his thumbs in between the elastic band and his waist. “...Sup?”
Alex grinned at Llydia, and nodded. "There's another sledgehammer in the garage...don't ask. I have no clue why we had two of them." Actually she did know why they had two of them, but smashing appart a bbq grill was probably alot more friendly sounding then what the sledgehammers had last been used for, which was smashing someone's skull. You gotta remember, this was when Alex did whatever her brother told her to do. She followed his direction, and his word like it was law. He raised her. So he should know best hm?
The arrival of Malcolm had Alex blinking in surprise. This was a face she hadn't seen since before she left Hawaii, and since she'd left before all the bad shit went down, she had no idea that he shouldn't by all rights, be there. So moving towards the good doctor, she gave a nuzzle to his cheek. "Hey! I remember you! Your Malcolm right?" Happy for a distraction, she smiled happily at him. And if Malcolm needed a place to stay, well there was not only the plantation but this house as well. He was more than welcome to stay with Alex, Ash, Llydia, Laney and Zack. The way Alex saw it, the more the merrier. And once Alex managed to get the attic cleaned out, she was fully intending to convert it into a bedroom. Thus freeing up one of the ones farther down in the house because she would claim that one for herself. Complete with it's own AC unit, because the one for the rest of the house didn't quite cool the top of the house enough. Being at the top of the house was great, because it ment you could hear the rain on the roof during thunderstorms.
As the puppy went racing through the house, and out the back door, Alex heard a booming bark, and snickered softly, glancing towards Zack as he came down in just his boxers, and slung an arm around his shoulder, pulling him in. "I think yer pup is getting squished again..." Indeed at that moment, Helix came through the kitchen door, pup held by the scruff of his neck, and dropped on the floor infront of Zack and Alex. The large Great Pyreneese growled then, as it realized there was a stranger he didn't know, and started those loud booming barks right there in the entry way, aimed at Malcolm.
"Helix!" The words were snapped out sharply, and the barking stopped. The big white dog eye'd Malcolm for another moment, then plopped his butt down......ontop of the puppy. Rolling her eyes, Alex let go of Zack, and shoved the dog off the smaller one. "Move ya retard. Your gonna suffocate him with your ass" Helix responded by moving, and sitting next to the puppy, tail thumping the floor. Alex rolled her eyes again, and scratched the top of his head, looking up to see Lou comming up behind Sil and Malcolm, she gave the timid she wolf a smile and a wave. "Hey Lou! We're gonna kill a bbq and build a new one! Wanna join us?"
Silent would smile. "I believe her name was Grid...A..Well fitting name for you Llydia" Grid being a gaintess and had the same powers as Thor..Only she carried a staff...Oh damn you silent with your useless facts. Shaking her head. "Yea bricks sound great. Might wanna leave a hole incase ya kill Daniel." Yea with Alex gone Sil didnt see much of the kid. Guessed he was doing his thing..She smelt him all over the plantation..Just never actually seen him in a few days. It was Llydias cheek brush against hers that brought her into there and now. Only unlike the times before Sil didnt shoot it down..But accepted it. Returned it the same way she would of had of been Memphis. She was the Freki of the pack. Second only to well in this cause Ash, herself and Geller. Sil understood the look. And took it to heart. "Or maybe Wounder woman." Thats when the scent hit her. Malcom. Oh god where was Ryver..At the house silly... Those tri colored hues meeting Malcolm's beautiful green one. Ones that she hadnt seen in Ages. "And Sleeping beauty awakes." When he moved to brush his cheek against hers Silent wrapped her arms around him. Sils own beast pouncing and curling around him. Letting that soothing swamp power curl around him. "Holy hell. First ya brother..Now you." Silent didnt let that hug end. This was one of their wolves..One that she watched in his slumber as she tried to make Ryver eat. Cupping his face between her hands those tri colored eyes would look him over. "When did this happen..How did you get out of Rome. I..I thought...There was nothing left of the Vineyards ...And.." A kiss was pressed to his cheek. She wasnt being over dramatic...She just had believed most of the pack had parished..Not cause Ash didnt protect them..But..Silent shook her head.
"I cant...Wow have you seen your brother? God..Wow." Turnin that vibrant smile would fade some as Lou approached. Seeing the shell of the woman that once was her Lupa. Silent couldnt begin to understand how she felt. Sure Silent had felt the loss of Az and they had only been the first marks into it. But to go all the way and to loose it. It was heart breaking.
A nod was given to Silent's words, it was something she'd have to look up. Wonder Woman was a good superhero as well, except she had a rope or something and wore this skimpy outfit Llidya would never be caught dead in. Before Llidya could voice her opinion on Wonder Woman's outfit, those Bahamas-clear water hues shifted to over her shoulder to Malcolm, and her jaw figuratively dropped to the ground. Holy shit, it was Malcolm! Malcolm was dead, wasn't he? But no! There he was! Then Silent was hugging him, and saying all the things that needed to be said.
"Heyyy Malcolm. Don't worry 'bout Helix, he's a big fluffball." Her smirk turned into a smile, and she let the head of the sledgehammer fall to the floor. She looked to Lou as she approached. She didn't know the woman too well, but she was hoping this little excercise she'd started up would change that. "Hey Lou. We're bustin' shit up." She hefted the sledgehammer once more, nodding suggestively as Alex invited her to join them. "Malcolm you can come help us out. As a matter of fact, why don't I and someone with a car go and get the bricks, and everyone else stay and start 'dissassembling' the sorry peice of crap in the back yard." Llidya held up one hand to do air quotation marks at the word dissassembling, and she handed the hammer to Alex who was holding onto Helix. She turned towards Zach.
"Zach, this is Malcolm and Lou," she pointed towards the two, and she moved past everyone down the steps. "Who's gotta car so we can grab the bricks?"
Measured steps slowed to dragging slowness as she saw the gathering buidling on closer to the house. Apparently she'd arrived just behind some others and there was a chaoticly festive air to the various members of the pack that had assembled. Alex's greeting was given a flicker of a smile along with a quick dip of her head in return to her wave. Seeing Silent's smile fade when she looked her way had her head dipping, letting the tangled curls of her hair shield her features. Hands were shoved into her pockets, lingering on the path in front of the porch.
Llidya's introduction had her glancing from one male to the other, fixing their faces and names in her memory. She'd seen Zach before, at the lupenar but Malcolm was a new face. "I'm on a bike, sorry." Words murmured softly in response to Llidya's question.
Heat bloomed from his neck to his cheeks when Silent took him in her arms. He returned the hug a bit awkwardly, but enjoyed every moment of it, as did his beasty. He couldn't wait to return to life as a pack member, not that he recalled missing it too terribly long.
"Your guess is as good as mine." His British accented voice held a questioning tone, as she was inquiring to events he was curious about himself. He felt her hands grasp his face, and an abashed smile crossed his lips as she looked him over. She mentioned Ryver, and he straightened, verdant hues brightening at the mention of his brother.
"I have not. Can't wait to see him though..." Malcolm turned when Llidya introduced the other two wolves, and he nodded to each, reaching forth with his hand to introduce himself to the Zack fellow. "Hullo. Malcolm Book how do you do?"
Viridescent hues turned towards the captivating woman with the auburn curls and he lowered his gaze as he mumbled his introduction to her.
"M-M-Malcolm. Pleasure t-to make your acquaintance." He immediately turned to Llidya, nervously glancing to 'Lou' [good god that couldn't be her real name could it?] as he spoke. "I've only a cab. I'm even worse off than Miss Lou. I had to borrow a couple of quid to buy clothes." From the words that Silent had spoken, it didn't sound like any of his personal possessions or research for that matter, had made it out of Rome. The idear was quite devastating, and his shoulders slumped as he thought about it. "Destruction sounds like your sort of thing though Llidya." He offered up a half smile, once again glancing to Miss Lou, trying to distract himself from depressing thoughts.
