"Now Arriving at Armstrong International Airport. Please stay seated till the captain turns off the seat belt sign. Thank you for flying with PN Airlines."

Jolene Lyric Georgia Redfern Jones sat in the her seat waiting. New Orleans. Arriving finally in New Orleans. The nerves she hadn't felt on the flight from New York to New Orleans came crashing in when she noticed they were getting closer to landing. It was making her slightly nauseated.

One deep breath, then another. The wheels hitting the ground with the bouncing squealing motion. It jerked the passengers a little. A few complaints and then the seat belt sign went off. People bustled to get their bags. There was so many different creatures on the plane. Jolene had flown with PN airlines before. Taking it from California to New York the first time.

This time she had the aisle seat. The person next to her had been an interesting older woman. They talked about the weather and where they had come from and why they were headed to New Orleans. The older woman, who had to be about in her seventies, was gushing about seeing her grandson who had been turned into a vampire two years ago. This was the first time she got to see him. They talked for most of the trip there, until the older woman said she was going to take a nap before they got there.

Jolene took that time to do some sketches for a line she was working on. Part of the trip she knew was to get inspiration from New Orleans and to perhaps finally see Ash and Silent. She had put that off when she had arrived in New York a year ago. Marcus had helped her get her life on track even more. Giving her a jazz club in the heart of New York that was doing great business. Enough that she could leave other people in charge while she traveled to New Orleans.

Now, there was no amount of keeping herself busy that would keep her from the nerves she was feeling. Grabbing her carry on bag and her purse she waited in the small line in first class to get off. White nautical theme heels were soundless on the carpet that covered the tunnel. A few people glanced her way as she smiled to them. Her eyes covered by a pair of big bug like glasses. They hid the abnormal shade of green that didn't exactly match the cafe-du-late color of her skin. It really showed that the body she now had, was of a mixed background. Something perhaps Anglo-Saxon with the deep brown of the natives of Caribbean.

Walking down the tunnel that had her heading towards the meeting area where families gathered to greet loved ones. Jolene walked passed all of the people and down to the baggage claim. She had ordered a car to pick her up from the airport and take her to the Omni Royal Hotel on the French Quarter. She had plans to search the city for any signs of Silent or Ash. She knew a few things to help her on the journey. One, was finding a place called the Hookah. From what she had been told, she knew this place belonged to Silent.

A man with a white cardboard sign that had her name on it. She walked over to him and he reached out to take her bags. Jolene had two large Tumi bags and their latest large garment bag,  the carry on and of course her purse with her. The car had been waiting outside. Bags were placed in the trunk and she was in the car on her way to the Omni.
