Upon arriving to New Orleans it was a drastic change of life for me because nothing out here is what it appears to be and that goes for the people here.
Then again there has never been anything normal about me since the day I was born, till this day I still can't believe that my own flesh and blood turned their backs on me and I've had to face the harsh realities of life and doing whatever I had to do to survive. I will survive by any means necessary and being forced to enlist into a program where a team was put together and prime objective was to work black ops missions that involved killing supernaturals.  Till this day the memories of all Task Force X missions I've been on haunt, I can see the faces of those I've killed with my ability in my sleep, yet at that time nothing gave me more pleasure then the adrenaline rush of a close combat battle. Bloodshed and covering my bones, yes these various bones that have helped me in more ways than I can remember. I've been branded by this god forsaken VII tattoo on my right forearm is a constant reminder of the personal hell that me and the other members of the team were put through on a day to day basis. I've done more bad than good in my life and like the others of TFX I valued my life and enjoy breathing then again who doesn't. Killed or be killed, survival of the fittest, do or die yes these all come to mind though the one thing I can agree that there is truly no rest for the wicked.

I'm in New Orleans in a way feel both out of place and that I could fit in here though I don't see that truly happening anytime soon.  As I began my initial exploration of the city from an undercover perspective I've come to realize more-so than ever before that this city is crawling with super natural beings. I can't tell who is who, but I was at a bonfire the other night and it was a gathering of "supers". Those that knew one another seemed to stick like glue to one another though I don't know if there is some struggle for power or if everyone is at peace, though I've never thought all could coexist together even for a little while. I was eyed a couple times though I think everyone thinks I'm just some run of the mill puny weakling that can't defend himself, piss his pants, and take off running in a blink of an eye. I'm the complete opposite when push comes to shove I push back and there is nothing in this world that I'm afraid of, there is nothing that can scare me. Battle worn and battle tested I'm ready to face anything or anyone that comes my way though I will hold my own and I'm itching to get into a fight.

Another day another bit of exploration and gathering intel took place, I managed to wander to a Cafe though I wasn't hungry something told me it was a place of interest. I wasn't hungry or anything though truth be told anything are better than the meals I used to get in the "Cage." I had walked in an already I noticed that there were a few people that I've seen at the bonfire and they all looked at me.  Once again it was that feeling of eyes on me and there is nothing more than I hate is everyone looking and staring at me, that is up there with someone giving me a horrible fight.

All those sets of eyes I wanted to fling bones at each and everyone of them, but if I had done I would drawn a bit of unneeded attention from police or "others" alerting them of my pressence and that would of been bad for business. Now aside from the staring of me I found an empty table and got a coffee, now it wasn't the best coffee I had, but there are worse places to get a cup of joe. My bones are aching as I sit here and I think I'm going to go up to release some much needed stress, maybe I'll find some underground fight club because I could go for good street fight.

So I was at one of the local pubs playing darts and in fact got challenged by one of the locals, it was a pretty intense game and then the mention of money was brought into play. I brought my A game and took the guy for all he had, but he wasn't to thrilled about it, then again would be happy after losing a couple hundred dollars. As I gathered my things and settled up my tab I proceeded to left the establishment and as I walked down the street I was blindsided from behind by the gentleman. I let him get a couple hits in then I put my martial arts training to use, no one knows that I have a black belt in quite a few martial arts. It's what happens when you are a trained "professional" and have spent time in jail cells in different countries, after the one last punch to my face the guy was tired and within moments

I took my left hand and balled it into a fist, the sounds of cracking bones gave me quite the adrenaline rush. The rush subsides the pain from the movement of my bones, I formed those bone knuckle guards of mine upon that fist and struck that man in the stomach hard, I felt the warm blood trick over those bone guards before I fired them into a nearby wall and left the man there unconscious and bleeding. Someone would find him, but for the time being he wasn't my problem plus I had some winnings to spend.
