-When Geller had called her in to play nurse to his friend in a coma she had agreed easily. It wasn't her preferred method of keeping the man in her sites but it would have to do.....for now. So Angie, the woman who knew as much about nursing as the coma patient, was moved permanently into the household. She was staying in a bedroom adjacent to the patients so that she could vigilently tend to Venus's needs. Or as vigilently as her busy shopping, spa hopping, and TV watching schedule would allow. Ishmael had just said to be there, beyond that she had no idea what the long term plan was.-
"You look as pathetic as I feel."
-She admitted to the woman in the coma as she roughly shoved an extra pillow under Venus's head. Angie checked the IV that was feeding the woman and keeping her healthy, and went through the motions of daily routine required to care for her. Which basically meant she was bored out of her skull after about ten minutes. She wasn't sure why Venus was in a coma, but knew it had something to do with the trip Geller had taken to New York. Just thinking about that sent a shiver up her spine at the memory of Ishmael forcing her inside the tigers head. It had not been a pleasent experience and wasn't something she wanted to repeat anytime soon.-
"Well, don't pick up any drifters..."
-She made the last comment as she idly flicked a manicured nail at the feeding tube and grabbed her book off the nightstand by Venus's bed. How a shifter could be kept in such a state was knowledge she didn't possess, but she hoped Venus stayed out long enough for Angie to implant herself in Nico's host bodies life irreperably. Keeping the book tucked under one arm she drew her cell phone out of the pocket of her jeans and dialed Ishmael's private number. When the man picked up the phone she didn't beat around the bush.-
"Mr. Goldman. Don't you think it's about time for another test run? I'm getting a little impatient here."
-As she spoke she wandered downstairs and into the main living room. The book was tossed onto the sofa and she moved to stand near the window that looked out on the side yard. A petite hand was perched on her hip, the tips of manicured fingers strumming against her hipbone impatiently as she listened to her boss on the other end of the line.-
"Every day he's spending more and more time with that woman."
-The sound of jealousy was clear in her voice. As far as Angie Harmon was concerned Geller might as well not exist. His proclivities and desires were no business of hers. She wanted Nico and until they finished this bizarre round of testing Mr. Goldman had planned she couldn't get what she wanted. Not completely. That made her impatience grow as well as the nagging green monster of her jealousy. As far as she was concerned Jenna's time with Geller was taking Nico away from her and she wanted none of it.-
"This isn't what I signed on for and if you're not going to do something about it........"
-A noise behind her alerted her to the fact that someone else was coming close. She could sense the lycanthropes in the house and cursed under her breath at her own inattention. Her emotions had gotten the best of her and now someone had been able to sneak up on her. Spinning around she eyes the woman who came into the room with narrowed crystal blue eyes. When she spoke in the phone next her voice was cold and distant.-
"We may have a problem here...."

Dee had been so busy opening up her shooting range and spending time with Sirus that she was barely home. There were many things that needed to be done to the shooting range, like hiring people that are experienced with guns and have military training, and receiving certifications for selling guns and gun licenses. However, every so often she would visit with Coma-Venus, talking to her as if she was just sleeping rather than lost in her own mind. She would even try to let her timber wolf reach to the woman's wolf, but feel nothing, and that really scared Dee.
Dee of course recognized the nurse that attended to Venus's care even prior she was assigned the job. She remembered seeing the woman the night of Geller's reappearance, always by his bedside, but never had the opportunity to be formally introduced. Today, Dee thought, would be a good day to finally meet the blonde nurse who has been staying at the house for about a month or longer.
Dee strolled through the hallway, coming to the kitchen to fetch a sandwich. Luckily, someone liked doing the grocery shopping because Dee made a sandwich that one could get at Subway. All the ingredients were there, so that meant spending less money on Subway, and more time for eating and being lazy. After the sandwich was made on french bread, Dee entered into the main living room, eavesdropping on Angie's phone conversation. Thanks to lycanthropy auditory, Dee overhead pretty much every word Angie said. She stood there with the twelve-foot sandwich on a plate, slowly chewing on a monstrous bite before interrupting the nurse.
"Test runs, huh? Test runs on exactly whom, Nurse? If you even are a nurse...."
Although Dee never met Angie, the woman just rubbed her beast the wrong way. Everything about her seemed tricky; she barely interacted with anyone in the house nor made the effort to do so, she was on Geller's ass like white on rice whenever he was in the house not with Jenna, and something about her was off. Dee couldn't exactly point a pinky on it, but she knew Angie was something more than human.
"What exactly did you sign up for Nurse because as far as I'm concerned...At-home nurses are supposed to be doing what you have been doing for Venus. What did you expect? Check on Venus's vitals and then run off to be up Geller's ass every chance you get? What if Venus wakes up, something happens, and you're not there? Your ass would be on the line..."
"Merrick, I've already spoken to them and it's quite well in order. My trip will be delayed but business will continue as usual. Simply continue sending anything you receive here and…..tell Linore…..” Tell Linore what exactly? Ishmael wasn’t entirely sure what he should be telling his ward.“Tell her that I miss her and that I will be home soon and that I’m eager to see how she’s been doing.”
That sounded like the most reasonable thing to tell her.As he finished up the International call to his assistant he was simultaneously trying to complete some of the days transactions. His multi-national conglomerate ran as smoothly as a well oiled machine and even in his brief absence nothing was likely to fall through the cracks. That was what CEOs and boards and underlings were there for after all.Their entire purpose in this world was to see that things ran smoothly and to see that should a small glitch occur it would be ruthlessly corrected.
When his phone rang again and he saw Angie’s number calling he not only answered the phone but also sent his power in search of her.His mind filtered out the excess noise of the others around him, compartmentalizing so that he could concentrate on the distant flickers of the summoner and her charge.Ishmael’s fingers stopped their movements against the keys of his computer and he pushed back in his chair to let his eyes briefly close as he took a deep breath and listened to Angie’s multitude of complaints.Luckily he did not easily lose his patience.
“All is going according to my plans.”Meaning, her plans were not his priority in these events. Then he heard her pause and felt the new mind close at hand as the scene bloomed inside his mind.A problem? Indeed.Well, it looked like he would be giving Angie her desire sooner than anticipated.Reaching out towards Geller’s mental signature he sent a surge of power to trip the mechanism inside the man’s brain.“No more problem Angie.Enjoy the reprieve.”
Hanging up the telephone it wasn’t until hours later that that piece of his mind keeping tabs on the situation was used to revert the situation.Geller and Dee’s memories were wiped and replaced with something simple and unsuspicious and then he triggered the mechanism again.Picking up the phone he dialed the number for the safe house where the scientist was being held. There was the concerning matter of Nico’s memory, something he wantedmore information on before they proceeded further.
