....She could call Milo...He might have some idea's on where to go. And she was pretty sure the rat king would be willing to help. At least she hoped so. Swearing again, she banged her head against the steering wheel. Remi hated asking anyone for help. Even when it was very obvious she needed it, and this was one of those times. She wanted to be able to do for herself, and not owe anyone anything. Asking for help was one of the hardest things that Remi ever had to do.
After a few minutes, and alot more swearing, she finally punched in Milo's number, and made her call. muttering curses under her breath while waiting for her king to answer When Milo's voice came over the line, she sighed, and closed her eyes.
"....Milo.....I need some help...."
The sounds of sirens and shouts of people behind her could be heard over the line, as she opened her eye's to stare at the burning building. Looking away, she spoke quietly again. "...I need some place to stay...."
-Milo was in the middle of one of his watch shifts on the house of the lady cop and her son. He had left Alex with the rest of the Rodere at the swamp for sleepy-time trusting that the others would take care of him. When his phone began to vibrate against his thigh he fished it out of his pocket and hit the button to take the call. Keeping to the shadows he gave a quiet gruff mumble in answer and heard Remi ask for help.-
"Yeah. 'Course. I'm on guard duty right now. What a fuckin' trip." -Spitting at the grass he pushed back against the side of the house where he was sitting and watching.- "Head over to the swamp house. I'll meet you there once the suns up and we can talk it over. Unless you need something more immediate then you'll have to sneak over here and see me."
A soft sigh of relief slipped free and she nodded her head. remembering he couldn't see her, and voiced her reply. "Alright....thank you. I'll explain what happend when you get back. See you then.."
With that being said, she signed off so he could get back to what he was doing with out her distracting him. Phone tossed back to the center console, she laid her head back, closing her eyes, and let out a slow breath. Eye's opened again, and she looked back towards the building. Fire still raging, at this point, it looked like they were just trying to keep it from jumping to the others next to it. The building itself fucked beyond repair. Anything Remi might have had was well and truely gone.
Looks like a trip to Walmart was going to be in order, before heading over to the house in the swamps. she was gonna need some clothes for the next few days.
