The paramedic in the ambulance called ahead to Jessica McFarland in the Lycan clinic.  When he got an answer, he spoke matter-of-fact. 

"Dr. McFarland, this is ambulance two-two-nine.  We are en route to the hospital with a wounded lycan female.  Her driver's license identifies her as one Alex Sinclair.  She has deep lacerations to the inside of both arms, and has lost a large amount of blood.  Deputy Marshall Morgan was on scene, and placed the call.  We should be at the entrance in roughly two minutes."

He hung up the phone, and placed an actual tourniquet on each arm, then cutting off the zip ties.  The Marshall meant well, but to cut the ties off, the paramedic had to cut her flesh a little too.  Not that it made much difference seeing as her arms were completely opened up anyways.
