Ok guys, we want a little feedback from members on some things we can add to make more fun for you! (Not that we aren't all having a blast lol) So we thought we would put a thread up and have you tell us if you think these would be fun ideas for things to have on the MB.  Some of these ideas are common in other MB games but we weren't sure if you would be interested so we want your opinions.

1. Video Contests : players make movies or music videos about their characters, a sl, a romance, a rivalry, or whatever (we could have different themes for different contests) and the players get to vote for a winner! The winner gets a "prize" that could be some kind of award for bebo or an IC something the mods come up with.

2.  Art Contests: similar to the video contests.  A lot of MB do these and have themes like movie poster, album cover, etc where you make something with characters in it that looks like whatever the theme is.  The winners art could be added to the site or used in the SL in some way or the winner might receive a prize.

3. More Mod sponsored sub-sls like the V incident.

So let us know if you like or don't like any of these ideas or if there's something else you'd like to see.

I think more mod sponsored SL's would be nice. I also think there should be a writing contest every now and again. Mods put up a scenario, and members post their response to it. Whoever has the most creative, and well written response gets a prize.

I do not like the Bebo awards, however, since I am rarely on it, and a lot of others don't have one.

How about a file cabinet. A place where we can put up our character sheets. It's fun, says plenty about who and what the character is all about almost like a profile in Wicked! I think it's a magnificent idea myself. I am down with videos. We should do a humor contest. Funniest moments in character or out of character. Laughing is the best medicine after all. As well as SL ideas.

The only art I am anywhere near moderately good at is writing, which is what I do on this board on a daily basis. Not something I would be interested in to do any drawing or compiling videos, but if people can do that sort of thing, I'm all for looking at it. So all the power to you.

I am however loving taking part in the V troubles SL, so I'm all for more stuff like that. Especially something that could potentially involve more than just Police and Doctor crew in the SL, since the majority of people play characters that aren't one of those two.

Anyway, that's my ten cents.

Some Feedback:

1.  We are almost finished with a Character Sheet Code which all members can you to display their character sheets in a nice decorative package here on the MB.  The information will be for OOC use only but will make it easier to know who people are and who they play.  We will open a section on the MB soon with instructions on how to use the codes. :) Thanks for the suggestion Libra.

2.Since Art Contests seem to be the favored among those of you who replied we will begin instituting a monthly Art Contest soon and figure out what rewards will be given to suit that.

3. Mod-sponsored SLs.  Since there is significant interest in this we will be working up something to start in August that will involve lots of different areas of the SL in the hopes of giving more involvement aspects to those who are not cops, docs, etc.  Thanks to Jett for the suggestion. 

If you are particularly interested in having a character involved in a mod-sponsored sub-sl and are willing to take instruction as one of the instigators of this SL then  email the mods at xthewickedlmods@aol.com and let us know you're interested. 

Lastly, we have been working on some overhauls to the site and PB list please bare with us as our time is somewhat limited and we do what we can in the time allowed us.

I highly appreciate this. And if the mods want a copy of the list I am compiling for PBs matched with chars to put up on the site, I am more than happy to email it when I am finished.

And to take some of the stage from Llidya, Thank you for doing this. I know how much time can go into moderation, and the BS you have to deal with sometimes.

1.  Okay we have 2, possibly 3 sub-sls coming your way in the month of August.  (One of which will hopefully be the member submitted "old people" SL once the mods have looked it over). 

2. Our first Art Contest will be held in August

3. A section of the board for Character Sheets will be opening by August 1st. 

4.  The PB List on the Character Site has been updated.  The Main site will be updated in two weeks. 

5.  We have some other new and exciting things coming up including Wicked TV & Radio and some new SL Administrators to assist you, so please keep your eyes on the Announcements section for more on these as they develop.
