Titus Morgan sat in front of the blue light of his computer, eyes unblinking at the blinking line at the end of his report. It had been an interesting month so far and was far from over. The nearly empty bottle of bourbon was a testament to his diligence on the report. From behind him Craig Ferguson continued through his monologue for the night.
Picking up the phone, Titus looked through the numbers and finally found the one to call. He pressed the send button and waited for the ring. Once, twice, three times it rang and on the fourth Titus sighed and prepped his message in his head. Once the recording beeped he spoke:
“Alex, it's Titus. I know it's late but I've been a bit worried about ya. Whenever you get time give me a ring and let me know you're all right. Talk to ya later. Bye.”
Smoke between her lips, she felt her phone vibrate in her back pocket, makeing her jump a little, and pulled the slim iphone free. Unlocking, and tilting her head. HOw the hell had she missed a call? She hadn't even heard it ring!Voice mail pulled up, she held the phone to her ear, and listened, stepping away from Ash and Zach slightly, she smiled, hearing that voice on the message.
Texting her friend back quickly, a smile on her lips as she did so.
Titus. I'm Ok! All's well, and i'm doing alright. Dealing with some "family" issues right now. But I'll try and stop over after I'm done at the Hookah if your still up.
Sliding her phone back into her pocket after sending the text, she moved back towards Zach and Ash to add her two cents in once more.
Titus looked down at his phone as it nearly vibrated off the desk. He caught is as it tumbled and looked it over, reading the text. He replied simply as he looked at the time on his computer.
"Should be up most of the night. Feel free to come over whenever"
