At 8am, the doors to A Little Taste of Italy would open for the first time to the public. The music would reach out into the streets, a stark contrast to the usual for this city. The lively tarantella though would draw a crowd, and all would be welcomed inside to partake in the festivities.
Upon entering the place, the entry room would be where all the baked goods were sold. On the wall was posted a menu of the baked goods from pastries to breads and cheeses, and even the goods to make the dishes that they served in the restaurant. The smell of baked cheeses and breads and pastries would waft into the streets with the sound of the music, surely drawing even more people to the place. From the kitchen even more welcoming aromas bid people welcome, for later in the day there would be samples of the food for lunch, and dinner for the crowd later in the day.
There would be games and other fun things for the kids to take part in, and treats for them as well for all were welcome here. The festivities would last all day, and though Santino was confined to his slumber during the day, at night he would rise to see the second half of the celebration.
Alyanna had been within the restaurant when it open since she was living in the basement. But she wouldn't say anything about that. Alyanna was sitting in one of the booth looking over the newspaper that sat in front of her looking over the articles that covered the front page as she listens to the music, watching the children run along playing the games that were about. While she nibble on some of the seven layer cake that she snatched a piece. Long brunette hair was pull back into a ponytail whiles a white and red tank top graced her upper body. And pair of blue jeans shorts fit her lower body comfortable.
Alyanna would lean back in the booth of the chair some as she let her flip flop gently bounce up and down on her foot as she looked back to the newspaper to start reading what the articles had to say. Before asking one of the waitress to bring her a glass of water. Before hazel orbs look at the customers passing by the window.
