Chapman was just about to tell the mundane cops to take a hike when Silent came in. She knew Gellar wasn't lying to her, but she knew he was phrasing his words very carefully, probably due to the humans in the room, which could have been easily remedied. Then Silent came in shooting her mouth off, and Stoley had motioned to her from the door that the bomb squad was done with the scene, so Llidya had given Gellar that look that said 'Hey, we'll talk later,' and left.

"She said Fuck Stoley, get over it. She was ticked off, couldn't you tell?" Llidya said. Stoley had asked her what Freki meant on the way over, and she'd played it off. "You know how people can fumble words when they're pissed." She didn't know if Gellar wanted everyone to know what he was, but Llidya knew she didn't want them to know what she was just yet. They'd find out soon enough.

"Yeah I guess you're right. Here it is."

They pulled up to a shell of a building, just on the other side of the Ninth Ward it looked like, and Llidya hopped out, moving to the edge of the property. Her nose twitched as she took in the scents, the hackles of her wolf's neck rising at what they were picking up. "What'd bomb squad have to say?"

Stoley came up to stand beside her as she took in the scene. "Not much. An accelerant was used to make it go up like tissue once it blew. They found what they think is parts of the bomb scattered over there."

"We know who owns this place yet?"

"Not yet." Llidya nodded, and carefully moved foward to walk into the remains of the building. The ground was still warm from the residual heat. She crouched near where the peices of the bomb had been centered, and took a good long whiff. Maybe even through the burning she could catch a scent on whoever put it there. She picked up Gellar's scent after a few minutes of sorting through the odors, and would have delved further had she not suddenly felt Ash.

No, no it wasn't Ash, it was his beast, his power. Very distant and faint, which meant it'd been a hell of a blast right where he was at. A growl rose and it took Llidya a moment to realize it was from her as well as the wolf. She stopped the sound and glanced over to Stoley, who was on the other side of the foundation picking through something. Good.

She hadn't felt pain, but she moved back to the squad car and cranked up the radio before returning to the foundation. She was rewarded a few minutes later with an officer talking about picking up a Marshall at this address and giving him a ride to the hospital. Llidya tuned it out after that, and went back to discovering the goodies her nose was revealing.

Letting Lou go ahead of him into the room where Silent and the wolves waited he stopped just outside the door to pull the phone from his pocket and leave a message for Llidya.

"Chapman, it's Ash.  We've found Zoe, she's at the hospital now being tended to.  Call me back when you get done at the scene.  I'll come and meet you."

"Yes Captain, I'm on my way to the warehouse now. I've read the initial reports and the reports from the bomb squad. I know sir. I just want to look things over for myself, another pair of eyes and all. Yes sir, my report will be on your desk this afternoon."

Shamira clicked off her cellphone with a sigh as she guided he car down the streets of the Ninth Ward, along the row of warehouses until she neared the ground of the explosion from the other night. She should have been here, perhaps she would have been able to do something, to prevent the lose of lives that occured, prevent the injuries.  The thought was accompanied by a twinge of pain, pride was often her downfall. Somethings were immutable in time and this event appeared to be one, as inconsequential as it seemed to be.

Her car parked, she rose from within, slender figure garbed in the blues of the Fire Department, long sable hair restrained in a braid that danced along the center of her spine. Tablet PC in hand, her fingers danced over the screen, flipping to the reports filed by the first responders and then the other members of the arson team, eyes shifting from the reports to the landscape in front of her. She moved slowly through the area, examining the small bits of debris and notating them upon her report letting herself feel the currents of time to see how they collected at this spot.

A mumured prayer was offered for the injured who had survived, for any others that had escaped before she returned to her car to make her way back to the Fire Station to file her report.
