After receving the text message from Zoe, it was time for Dee to start her own search party before everyone came to the house. Since she was already out on the streets in the city for the building to be leased to her, she started her small journey. Lifting that she-wolf nose into the air, breathing in every entwined scent but preferably of Geller's, she roamed every street, starting in the French Quarter. She picked up his scent at a random bar, no doubt a spot for a drink. Approaching the bar tender with a picture of him on her phone, she questioned the human. "Yeah, he was in here a month ago for a few drinks. Then he left." Dee thanked the bar tender, and kept following his scent until it reached his restaurant. Asking for the manager, she questioned him as well. "Actually, Geller hasn't been here for a month now, and usually he's here all the time. All I remember is that he stepped inside his office to make a few calls, but I never noticed him leaving. I went back there to ask him something, and he was gone." She thought carefully. "Do you remember what time this was?" The manager furrowed his brows in rememberance. "Yeah, it was about 11:30PM or so." She thanked the manager and continued her quest to find Hair Gel. She was certainly playing the role of a detective, but she didn't know of any supernatural detectives, and it's not like she could go to the police and be like, 'hey my friend is missing, he's very tall, rugged, dark hair, and can change into a wolf sometimes.' They would definitely submit her into River Oaks in Harahan, and that place was for the demented.
Night was falling fast, and she only had about an hour to search the swamps. Taking a small cab to the outskirts of the city, she was dropped off at the edge of the swamps in St. Tammany parish. She wondered if she changed into wolf form, the multi-color timber wolf could pick up on his scent easier. Plus, in wolf form, she was a lot faster than in human form. And she did have the ability to change into wolf form without needing the moon's powerful rays, thanks to Geller who taught her this. God, she needed to find him, and fast. Poor thing is probably locked in a cage somewhere going absolutely insane. Or he found some really hot ass in a different state and chased her tail. No, it definitely wasn't that because as far as she knew, he was involved with Jenna, the tiger Queen. Or maybe aliens abducted him. Hell if vampires and lycanthropes existed, maybe aliens did too! Removing her clothing and hanging them on a branch, she threw herself onto all fours, and called to her beast inside. Her muscles moved like a snake to that of a wolf skeletal, and fur sprouted from her body, and before she knew it, she was bolting through the swamps in dire search of Geller. Alligators, birds, nutria, and whatever else swamp creature dared not stepped in path of an extremely large wolf for they scattered or ducked away immediately when they heard the thunderous beats of dangerous paws. She ran from one end of the swamp to the other, and finally where it almost reached the interstate. She picked up his scent; it was so incredibly small and faint like a ghost or barely a whisper, but it was there, still lingering in the summer heat. That was the great thing about the summer heat down here. It was so damned hot, whatever scent that was there, it stuck to the atmosphere. Even if someone killed an alligator days ago, you could still smell the blood of it, that's if you had a nose like a dog. Her ears perked, that tail wagged, and those eyes glistened with excitement. At least she knew he was still alive, well a month ago he was. Bolting back to the branch where her clothes were hung, she shifted back into her human form with much ease, and slipped on her clothes. There was a small-town gas station about a five minute walking distance away, and she went there to use their phone to call a cab. The cab pulled up about twenty minutes later, and she headed back to the house.
She bursted through the doors and called out to everyone in the house. "Maya! Venus! Nike! Everyone! Come here!" Before she settled down onto the couch waiting for others to show up, she grabbed a few of the last beers in the fridge and placed them on the coffee table. She sat on the couch, not settling back into its comfyness, but sat straight up, ready to spill her discovery.

Sirus' mind worked in overtime as it traced back to his first time meeting Dee and Geller in their home. It was only a handful of months that passed since then and with a little push he was able to fish the knowledge out of his recollection. Though it appeared he was not on the list of those initially invited to join in the search for Geller it did not matter, there was a wolf missing in New Orleans and aside from his own reason years ago, a wolf who leaves the middle of a forming pack had to have something arise. Only seconds after he walked through the door, brief enough to take in everyone's scent, Dee saddled up behind him forcing a chill up his spine out of sheer shock. Sirus stood before her slightly awestruck by the hurried tone in her voice. Was it happiness that spiked her words or was it a heightened sense of things made her seem so feverishly urgent? Geller's disappearance had to of weighed heavily on her shoulders, God knew what he would do if Silent or hell, even Nyx in all of her distrust of Sirus, went missing. Family is family no matter the color of skin... Or in this case... Fur. Time for pondering expired, Sirus slowly eased his way into the building to allow any other wolf of New Orleans open access to the quickly filling room as they saw fit. Indeed - why this sudden disappearance? Why now? Maybe she had the answer now...? Sirus among any other soul who joined him in that very moment sat down to gauge Dee's reactions whatever they may be and of course, he grabbed a beer and sipped it down like a can of Ash's Boddingtons.
"What's this all about? Did you find him? Is he all right?"
Assuming of course that was the reason why she gathered them all here, that was.
(Okay, so I owe stuff to a lot of people. So I am posting this same post in a few places cause it answers questions about where Ash has been and leads him into the current situation. Thanks!)
The kill had been clean. Easy enough once they tracked the man back into his nest. Almost boring actually in it's relative simplicity. Yet there had been a certain measure of excitement in having Llidya there with him. It had been a long time since they had hunted together. The last time she had been human and they had been partners in a case in Salem. Here, even though time had changed them both, there was still an effortless nature to their familiarity. They moved with one another like a well oiled machine. Even if that ease was only apparent when they were working. As for the rest of their engagements.....those were far more complicated.
After the full moon he had been called in on a job, a warrant and writ of execution handed over to him without restraint. He'd received the call while most of the others were still sleeping off the heightened frenzy of the full moons call. There had been a moment when Ash contemplated waking up Laney and taking her with him, but in the end he had decided against it. She had been training with him, but she was still so young, so new to violence, and he hated to throw her too quickly into that aspect of his life. Still, he left a note for her on the counter after packing his executioner's case.
Laney,
Gone on a job. Will find you when I get back. Take care of Alex. And yourself. When I get back we'll go shooting. Keep up with your training.
Ash
What had happened to the note from there he had no idea. In a house like theirs anything was possible. Nothing was sacred in a place where Milo Jones laid his head for the night. Laney might have been left behind under the guise of having her take care of Alex, but Llidya proved to be more difficult to leave behind. The look on her face as she confronted him leaving would not be ignored. So, they took her vehicle and left his behind for Laney to use. The keys were placed on the counter and as they left the swamps they contemplated the case and were lost for a time in their own business.
They'd tracked the prey to Baton Rouge where the Master Vampire went to roost with his kiss. From the moment they arrived in Atlanta until the moment the master's body was burned to ash and scattered he had not bothered much with his phone. He had his partner at his side and during the hunt he and Llidya exited in the moment, for him the Dark Passenger delighted in the thrill, and Llidya's cop mind kept his reveling to a minimum as they sought to track and kill all of the nest that scattered. Nights were filled with blood and screams and his days were spent in the company of this woman who had haunted his dreams for years. Time passed quickly, too quickly.
It wasn't until the job was done that he began reviewing his messages and slowly his face became col and serious. First were calls from Laney, Geller, and Silent.....it was hard to tell exactly what all of them were getting at but it had something to do with Alex. Then came a call from Alex herself letting him know that she was alright. Slim black brows furrowed on his forehead and even as he listened to the story play itself out over his phone he could hear Llidya in the next room, in the shower, and found himself at least slightly distracted by the memories that taunted him.
The messages were winding down and at some point he had risen from the bed and begun to slowly pace with the smooth lethal intent of a pure predator. The final message he reviewed as he heard Llidya turn the water off, moments later he could smell her scent as it mingled with the steam that exited the bathroom when she opened the door. Silent was now looking for Geller, and he was beginning to wonder if he should just put the whole bunch of them on a leash and attach them to his belt. They were losing one another at an astounding rate. Just as he was about to hang up on his voicemail a text message came through and made his phone vibrate in his hand. It was from someone nmed Dee Dee, a woman Ash was only peripherally familiar with from Geller's description, and once again it was about the disappearance of Geller.
With a sigh he looked back over his shoulder as Llidya came out of the bathroom, her clothes clinging in places to where her body was still wet, holding a towel that she used to dry the curls of her fiery red hair. Ash had parted his lips to say something as he'd turned his head but for a moment the words died on his lips and behind the silver shields of his fortitude he heard the lonesome howl of his beast both in recognition of the female wolf so close to them and making him aware of how long he'd been away. Finally, when he could tear his eyes off of every endearing inch of Llidya he spoke in that deep cultured voice.
"We have to go back. Someone's gone missing."
Though the messages he'd received had been frantic Ash sounded as calm as ever when delivering the news. He was a man used to disasters of the worst sort and a missing persons case, even when that missing person was a friend, did nothing to shake his unerring sense of decorum. Maybe it was a British thing (or possibly a sociopathic killer thing). Llidya didn't argue or ask him a million questions, she just nodded and went about the business of packing just as he did. Not that it would take them long. Neither of them traveled with much in the way of clothes, just the necessities, and most of their baggage was of the slaying variety. As Ash packed he calmly began to return peoples phone calls to let them know that he was on his way.
First, he called Alex since apparently she had been the first one to go missing. He had no idea yet if this was connected in some way, but no doubt she would be able to tell him. Her phone rang several times before she picked up with an exclamatory "Where the fuck have you been?" Ash figured that his note had been used as Milo's snot rag or something equally horrific and just gave Alex the bare bones facts in a cool collected voice.
"I received an out of town job. Llidya and I have been hunting. I got messages saying that you went missing and now apparently Geller is missing as well. Tell me what happened to you first....from the beginning."
Ash listened as Alex told him about Xavier, about how he had infected a human, kidnapped her, and was now food in her belly. He listened to the story as he sorted and packed his executioners bag, making sure all guns were cleaned, loaded, and had their safety on. There were some weapons in his possession that didn't fit in the bag, but those ould go in Llidya's Hummer last. When Alex finished he let out a smooth breath.
"Okay, here's what I want you to do. Have Laney take you to Silent. I'll call Laney as soon as we get off the phone. I want you to stay with Silent and explain everything to her. She'll be able to tell if eating your brother is going to have some kind of effect on the pack munin. Until you know that the pack could have some rough waters ahead." Xavier was one wolf that Ash would not want to have inside him even for a moment. Shifting the phone to his other shoulder he freed up his hands to work the zipper on the bag and sling it over his free shoulder.
"Stay with Silent and when I get this sorted I'll come to the Hookah to get you myself." After a long pause he added, "I promise."
That was it, hanging up the phone he was already redialing. Ash had long ago left off niceties like hello and goodbye, it was a cop thing, or maybe a killer thing, or just one of those things about him that people either hated or were forced to get used to. He was already dialing Laney as he picked up his small travel bag of clothes, shoes, and little bathroom necessities. Laney's phone rang and she answered with a very similar accusation as Alex, only hers was loaded with a dozen other choice words of the four letter variety.
"Laney calm down. We have a problem. I need you to do something for me." Alex could explain to Laney where he had been so he skipped over that part and got straight to business. "I need you to go to the swamps in and pick up Alex. Take her to Silent at the Hookah. She can explain everything to Silent when she gets there. I've already talked to her. I need you to leave Alex in Silent's care and then come meet me and Llidya at this address."
He wasn't sure that Laney had ever been there before so he gave her Geller's address making sure she had it written down exactly. The bags were loaded into the back of the Hummer and as he held the back open so Llidya could load hers in he watched the way she moved, so care free and seemingly unperturbed by the wild circumstances.
"We'll be there as soon as we can. Just tell people to calm down and not to go off half cocked. Keep them settled until we get there."
How Laney would manage that he had no idea. A pack of wolves could go wild and wooly in minutes if they took to a scent. For all he had heard at this point Geller could be anywhere, with anyone, the options were limitless. "We're in Baton Rouge, we'll drive fast."
As he hung up Ash looked across at Llidya as she was climbing behind the drivers seat. If anyone could make a Hummer push over 100 it was the woman in the drivers seat. He held up a finger to her and pointed towards the small motel office. He would check them out and she could meet him around front after loading the last of their supplies, the gear made for taking down the biggest and baddest of what they hunted. Heading towards the motel office he dialed Silent's number next and this time he got a voicemailbox.
"I got your message. Stay at the Hookah, I'm sending Alex to you. She needs her Ulfric right now. I'll find Geller. Nothing to worry about." He paused a long moment as he opened the door to the motel office and saw the weasly manager eyeing him over a back issue of Playboy. "Once Geller is safe I'll come to the Hookah. See you then."
It was as close to a goodbye as anyone had gotten from him. Hanging up the phone he went in to pay their bill and check them out. As he waited on the abusively slow clerk to do his work he sent off texts to the woman who had contacted him, Dee.
"This is Ash. Don't lose your head yet. Geller runs with a lot of different crowds, he's not like other wolves. Try not to get everyone worked up when we don't know anything yet. I'll be there soon."
No, Dee didn't know him directly, but if she was around the pack then she might know of him. And anyone with her who knew him might breath a sigh of relief and assure her that he knew what he was talking about. However he figured there was a snowballs chance in hell now of keeping people from freaking out since the text had gone out to lord knows how many civilian pack members. Taking a receipt from the man behind the counter he headed back outside to climb into the Hummer where it idled beside the curb. No sooner was his door closed than Llidya had put them in motion and he knew that it would only be a matter of hours before they were back in town.
Leaning back in his seat he lifted one foot and rested the flat of his boot against the dashboard. Llidya had waited patiently and now she got the story. As they headed through the darkness bound for New Orleans he told her everything that had happened, or what he knew about it anyway. They had time so he gave her the full dose. Each of them in their own way looked like death coming to town. Fresh from the kill they smelled of it, their eyes sang with it, and inside Ash could feel the Dark Passenger chase the beast away to exalt that they were already on another trail. Life was chaotic, but it sure was good.
Laney had spent the time after picking up Alex in her room, polishing her gun. She'd been going out to the shooting range, and keeping up with her training, even though Ash's note had mysteriously disappeared. She'd never known of it's existence, but that didn't mean she was about to neglect all the hard work and effort she'd put in so far. Figuring that Alex needed some time to herself, she didn't feel the need to rush back downstairs and pry the woman for information about what had been going on for the pas month. She knew enough about the blonde wolf to know she would want to tell Ash first, and then, when the time was right, she would get the story.
Her ears perked up a bit as she heard a phone ring and Alex pick it up. Tilting her head to the side, she continued polishing the stainless steel casing trying not to listen to the echoing voice downstairs. When her phone rang a few minutes later with a ring tone that was specifically Ash, her lips turned down into a grimace while the ears of her wolf perked up at the tome. Grabbing the device she pressed the talk button and growled into the phone, "Where the fuck have you been? There's been a shit storm here going on!!!!" Damnit all to hell sonofabitch! You left me here all alone! And then Alex disappears! What the fuck!!"
Hearing him to tell her to calm down had her breath coming out in a huff, but she stopped her cursing and listened to what he had to say. Maybe it had something to do with the act that he said he needed her, something as yet he hadn't said to her. She still managed to grumble under her breath and think evil thoughts, but she was listening and even nodding, a motion that he couldn't even see given their method of communication. As he listed off what he wanted her to do and rattled off an address she floundered to find something to write on and then scribbled it down hastily.
"Alright boss man, I'll get Alex to Silent and then get to this other place and make sure the other's there keep a level head." Strangely enough, the young wolf looked forward to trying to keep things together until Ash could get there. "Hearing where they were had eyebrows raising up, but she gave another nod, "Like the wind." Was her reply before she just hung up the phone, interestingly enough, the two had something else in common with saying hello and goodbye over the phone.
Jumping off the bed, she quickly changed out of her shorts and into a pair of black jeans and a t-shirt and holster, grabbing her gun before running downstairs. Hazel eyes fell on Alex who had already gathered things in a couple of duffle bags, and she gave the blonde wolf a grin. Looks like she wouldn't have to relate the plan. Good enough. She headed outside and climbed into the Ash's Hummer, waiting until Alex got her things situated and then hauled ass.
The first stop was at the Hookah, and Laney dropped her friend off with a hug and a wave and then headed to Geller's place. When she pulled up to the place, her eyes widened at the size of the house as she put the truck in park. Hopping out of the vehicle, she took the stairs three at a time and pushed the front door open, looking around. "Hello?!" She spotted Dee Dee and Sirus, and couldn't remember if she'd met them before or not.
Giving the two a once over, a grin tugged at her lips, "Hey, I'm with Ash, sent me to help and get the story until he can be here. He's on his way." Her eyes danced around the place, and if she knew that Geller was missing, she might not have been so nonchalant about everything. After all, the guy had ben nice to her once. "So, what the hell is going on?"

When Sirus arrived at the house, Dee flew herself into his arms, burying her face into his neck. She wasn't crying, she wasn't upset; she was just so happy to see him for a long time has passed between them without seeing each other. Plus, he promised he would take her to a baseball game, and that never happened yet. Dee kept her cool, her confidence, her attitude. She was not one to flip out over petty things, or even big occurances, like Geller missing. She was absolutely devastated that he was missing, but she did not let her emotions take over like other submissives would. Military training helped immensely in that department.
Shortly after, Laney arrived, also trying to help the situation of calming people down. However, Dee was already calm, she just wanted to have as many wolves meet to see if they knew any information of Geller's odd disappearance. Dee approached the small wolf, formally greeting her as well as she brushed her cheek against the girl's, and buried her nose into her hair behind her ear. "Thank you for coming, this means a lot." She didn't know the girl's name, but she assumed introductions could come later on.
This was her very first time meeting Ash. She heard of him, of course, and his statue as a wolf and a detective, but never actually had the pleasure to meet him formally. When Ash arrived at the house, Dee immediately stood from the couch and brushed her cheek against his own, and buried her petite nose into his wild, black locks behind his ear. Then, she offered a beer to him, allowing him to sit or stand wherever he pleased, and began telling her small discovery.
"Well, I have been busy trying to open up a firearms store in the city, so I didn't notice Geller's disappearance until recently. I figured that he was busy with the tiger queen or at his restaurant which was why I haven't seen him home lately. When I got home, however, I noticed that his scent was not here. So I tracked his scent to a random bar, and his restaurant. I asked one of his managers if Geller's been around, and he said no, he hasn't been here for a month, and that's not like him at all. After searching the city for hours, I decided to search nearby swamps. And then I found his scent, but it was very, very faint. It was on the interstate in St. Tammany parish heading South, but I couldn't track it further because his scent was gone. I found it quite strange that his scent just suddenly disappeared like that. Do you think that someone may have masked it with some sort of power shield?"
Sirus stared blankly at the lovely woman who had, quite literally, speared headlong into his chest without forewarning or any vague hint of the pining she'd felt during his hiatus. Speckled eyes of gold descent watched her manic gestures with a hint of amusement and happiness infused within - however he did feel slight discomfort holding her in his arms. Many a times he'd experienced the same illusion of attraction and well... There were bruises that still raked at his heart to this very day and by God he didn't want a repeat to ruin anything between himself and the budding pack of New Orleans. Ash and Silent could have easily spilled out war story after war story of the things he put himself through and yes, arbitrarily, them too. It wasn't pretty and it wasn't about to win any fashion statement of the year awards but the unease was there. Lightly wrapping his arms around her for nothing more than a friendly hug, Sirus held Dee at arm's length with an assessing stare pointing his gilded hues at her aspect.
"Well it's good to see you too... But I wish the circumstances weren't so grim." He offered her a faint grin of relief but as quickly as he could conjure it it vanished like an expired cloud of smoke.
"It is good to see you though." Sirus helped himself to a vacant couch seat to calm some frayed nerves. Geller was not a complete stranger to him, no, but to say that he knew the man personally was a fabrication. Relationship or not, it meant everything to Dee and to boot, he was, of course, a wolf. Whether it be some personal code or unspoken law of honor no wolf no matter how miniscule in the social hierarchy would be treated any less, being close to someone you were attracted would be a definite incentive to look for them too. Sirus mulled around the idea of someone masking Geller's scent with their power with a grain of salt. He'd known some powerful individuals in his short time as a wolf but completely enshrouding someone's identity? That sounded like utter madness... But if that were the case, if it somehow proved sincere, then the person who might have taken him would definitely be one deserving of respect. On the off-chance that this was Geller plainly running from a problem then the reason behind his faint scent could be a little more mundane.
"That might be... Or maybe he bathed in some odorless chemical that can cleanse one's scent? I don't know. I don't like the thought of anyone being abducted, especially someone strong enough to steal an alpha AND hide his scent too. That makes it ten times worse." Sirus balked for a moment to gather his splintered thoughts. "Any reason why someone might want to take him? Use as a resource, vengeance, a bartering chip...? Anyone at all?"
Sirus snapped a curious look at Laney and shrugged. "That's a good question. Been trying to find that out myself. Does Ash have any leads?" He said as he propped himself up against the couch.
By the time that Ash and Llidya arrived at Geller's house the place was a hotbed of lycanthrope activity. The two wolves looked at one another across the open space between them and then simoultaneously unstrapped their seat belts and climbed out on either side of the Hummer. Ash felt he comfortable embrace of his shoulder rig and as always was comforted by the smell of gun oil that reached his nose. When they entered the house the sound of the lycanthropes debating over Geller's condition was a cacaphony and it made the small muscle in Ashes jaw twitch slightly. That ever so small tell sign that was usually his faces only break from the dead look of a cop that so often masked him.
Ash nodded as Dee thanked him for coming and noticed that Llydia had gone to take a seat on the couch. As always she looked effortlessly nonplussed by the situation. Her red braid draped over the peak of her shoulder and he had to tear his eyes away to lean down and brush his cheek back to Dee's in a greeting that he hadn't had in a long time. Since leaving Rome he'd passed as human for three years and since then he had been mostly in the company of his weapons and the dead bodies he left behind. On some deep level he had to admit that he had missed the simple brush of cheeks that had once been so common for him.
A nod was given to Sirus who Ash knew of course. The two of them still hadn't really had a chance to connect since the mans sudden reappearance, but no doubt their time would come soon enough. Ash moved like liquid silver, all feral grace and the promise of barely contained violence in his stride, as he went to stand beside Laney. He didn't say anything to his protegee, just gave her a wink that probably spoke volumes from someone like Ash. She had done as he asked, and he was proud of her.
"Has anyone bothered to call the police?"
The guilty looks ranged in volume across the room and he realized quickly that they hadn't. Ash gave a small shake of his head. Why didn't lycanthropes ever think of the simplest solution first. They got so excited that they forgot that sometimes the authorities could actually do something besides eat doughnuts at the Circle K. Sirus's suggestion about Geller bathing in an odorless chemical it had Ash sending a look of disdain in the young wolfs direction.
"You don't know this man very well."
Phone's began to go off sudenly as Dee got a text from Silent asking her to come to the Hookah. Just as Dee was typing in a reply Ashes own hone began to vibrate in his pocket. Holding up a finger for silence he turned and took just a few steps away to take the call. (http://wickedlabyrinth.activeboard.com/t43567046/calls-from-the-lycan-hospital/ )
"This is Redfern."
He listened to the desk sergeant and asked the appropriate questions. Somewhere in the house another phone was ringing and he wasn't sure who answered it but blessedly it stopped just as the RPIT detective on the line said the name Charles Geller. Ash had spent decades mastering his dead emotionless cop face and being connected to a Master Vampire had increased that into a look so blank and empty that he really could have been carved of moonlight and steel.
"I understand. We're on our way."
Turning back to the others he looked over them quickly debating on how much to tell them. The last person his eyes fell on was Llidya and although to most his face would be unreadable he saw her tense and rise from the couch like she knew what he was thinking.
"We've been called in on a case. Geller's case has now become a matter of official record."
He could almost feel the energy in the room spike up a notch and the lycans seemed to pulse forward like they would jump him with questions. Calmly Ash held up a hand to quiet them.
"Geller is in the hospital. The doctors will be working on him for hours yet. There's no rush for any of you. Jessica's his doctor and she's the best there is. He'll be fine. Dee," His eyes looked to the woman who seemed to be the one organizing this meeting. "I need you to take everyone here with you to the Hookah. Silent is the pack's Ulfric and though I know you were only worried about your best friend it's insulting that she has been left out of this for so long. Go to the Hookah, make sure everyone gets there safely, and then let your Ulfric know what is happening. Tell her I put you in charge of getting people to the hospital. But let her decide who stays at the Hookah and who goes with you."
Silent was the Ulfric and Ash could already see that she needed to start cracking down on the wolves running wild through this city. He was trusting Dee to not only get these people to the Hookah safely but also to show deference to Silent. Turning next to Laney he let his pale fingertips lightly touch her back.
"No showdown today. Just detective work. Go with Dee Dee and help her where you can. I promise, the next hunt, I'll bring you with us."
It was a promise that he would most likely regret one day. Ash and Llidya were walking towards the door to go to the hospital and talk to the police who had been on duty when Nike came into the room. The vampire wasn't terribly familiar to Ash but he stopped because she was clearly a part of this household. And she obviously wasn't going to be told to go to the Hookah. Clenching his teeth he looked at Lllidya and saw her nod to him then finally ushered Nike to come with them. She could ride in the back.
True, Sirus hadn't truly known Geller long enough to adequately place any reason to his sudden disappearance for he was simply going through cursory guesses as to why he might be gone or someone placing a vested interest in him for whatever reason no matter how dark they may be. Returning Ash's look of disdain with a frown, Sirus straightened his posture in preparation for a proper greeting. "I know I don't... Just trying to go through any possible reasons as to why he might have gone missing, I meant no disrespect by it."
He said in a minimized tone. Just like Dee, Sirus moved to Ash's unmolested flank to shower him with much of the same affection Dee had given him. It felt like eons had waged wars over their departure and in doing so placed them on platforms separated by a large chasm designed specifically to keep them segregated. In due time that may change, Sirus thought to himself as his cheek lightly grazed Ash's, but current events pending made it seem awkward for them to catch up on the things he'd missed. As for Silent, he'd arranged a time for them to talk, and once this slice of drama ran it's course, he too would bring Ash with him for a day of friendly reconnecting, but as he'd alluded to before, the situation under which they'd met up broke all possible promise for a nice day.
"Dee, you remember where the Hookah is, right? I'll help just in case you need it." Sirus waited for Dee's response before he would even contemplate going out the door with her and anyone else who had gathered here.
