Busy day for the florist. Run florist, run!

Several things of interest had managed to work in Santino's favor over the past few weeks. However, all the time he had spent in earnest pursuit of meeting as many of the supernaturals in the first weeks since his arrival in town had landed him only a few leads to the rest of the supernatural community. So, at this time he would make the stab to solidify some of the leads he had, in order to gain a little more insight on what the supernatural community was up to in this part of the world. He wished to meet the others, to speak with the others, so as to pursue the rest of his plans. He knew he couldn't possibly meet with every last supernatural in town in such a short amount of time, despite how hard he tried to. For now, he would have to settle for his strongest connections, and work from there.

In his office, he'd clean up his files, and put them back into their proper places, before setting that unique lock. Sitting back in his seat at his desk, he'd pick up his phone, and dial the nearest florist. The young person that answered the phone was shaky in their response. Santino grinned, and retained a bit of laughter as best he could.

"First night on the job?" he'd ask the young person on the other end. They gave a shaky yes in reply.

"Bravissimo, time to impress your supervisors. Take this down. Arrangement #1 - 3 red roses, 3 white roses, alternating in a circle around 6 yellow roses. Address them to a Signorida Jenna, with a note saying: 'Il mio bella Jenna, it is a shame our first two meetings were so brief. Please accept these flowers as my apology for such, and my introduction into your life. Enjoy them, and these foods I have prepared for you and your Horde.' Got that?"

The young person nodded furiously, then gave a shaky yes, as they realized the nod would not be seen over the phone.

"Bravissimo! Now, arrangement #2 - 6 dethorned red roses and 6 dethorned orange roses. Address these to Signorida Santana, with a note saying: 'Caramia, I am ever so happy we met that night at Paix. I look forward to seeing you again, and often. You got to enjoy a meal that shall be offered at my ristorante, now please enjoy these sweets.' Got that?"

Again, the young person gave a shaky response. To which, Santino chuckled. "Relax, compare. You're doing magnifico."

"Arrangement #3 - 6 blue roses, and 12 elderflowers. Address it to Signorida Sunshine, with it's note stating : 'Bellissima, your uniqueness and personality are reflected in these flowers. Mystery and Compassion. I hope to see you again soon, so we can discuss more on the interesting topics we have so far."

This time, the young person gave another nod, and an 'Ok!' before Santino could state if all was heard ok. Santino grinned, and got up out of his chair. He'd head out to the elevator, and head to the kitchen of his shop. The pastries and other foods he had prepared for this were waiting for him, and he'd take them down to the florist.

"I am on my way now to pick them up now, how long shall it take?"

"15 minutes, sir!"

He chuckled again. "Ah, good, good. What is your name?"

"Robert.."

"Ah, Roberto, graci. You have done a wonderful job."

After they hung up, he'd get to the florist in a few minutes, getting a ride from his all too unoftenly used chauffer. He'd pay for the flowers, and be sure to give a tip to Robert, and point out that he did excellently to his boss. Afterwards, it would be back onto the road. He'd drop off the gift for Sunshine on the doorstep to her home, ringing the bell. With the flowers, would be another statue of a coyote, this time made from pure marble. It too was colored in the same fashion as the flowers she'd receive.

At the manor, he would drop off Jenna's assortment first, and along with it would be a hot meal, large enough to share between the other Tigers, or so he hoped, since he wasn't sure how many there were under Jenna's care; and an assortment of italian pastries. His card, with his phone number and the address of his soon to be open ristorante would also be set within the bouquet of roses. There would be a second note however, one he didn't feel like dictating over the phone to an unknown person. "I wish to speak with you personally, if you have nothing against the idea. Please, call me at your earliest convenience."

Lastly, he went to that guest house that Santana had "commandeered". Her gift was also some pastries, since she had enjoyed a hot meal made by him already. He'd linger a little at her door, but he still had some work to do, so despite his desires, he would have to wait another day to spend some more time with her. The bells for the two respective places there would be rung, and he'd be off and back to the limo, to make his way back to that darned, stuffy office.

Slender fingers lifted the card with the note attached and read both quickly.  Teal eyes narrowed, her fingers snapped the card down to take notice of the flowers and the aromatic meal that was laid out in the kitchen.   Italian.  Her stomach rumbled.

Randall had brought the flowers in while the food was being delivered, sniffing disdainfully as he sat them with care on the counter.  He turned on a well shod heel and stalked out.  Amused, Jenna then read the card and note.  She too sniffed, though it was to see if the food was laced with anything.

The lady had trust issues.

This was the man currently paying court to Santana?  Hmm.  Her fingers tapped against the counter, slipped the papers into her pocket and walked toward the bottom of the stairs.

"Heads up! Food!"  Then she headed for her office, touched the mouse on her computer and settled in for an evening of finance and fun.  If the pair could even be considered together.

Curiosity, however, would always be a weakness for even the strongest of cats, so she plucked up her phone and called the number of one, Santino.  What was he up to?  What did he want?  Their business?   A political arrangement?  Whatever it was, she was going to find out.

Ringy dingy, Santino.

He hadn't gotten very far. As he plucked the phone out of his pocket, he'd stare at the screen, and raise a brow, as the corner of his mouth lifted in a smirk. "I knew cats were fast, but ... damn." He flipped it open, and brought it to his ear.

"Buona Sera." He'd say in a soft tone, thick and evident with the presence of his smile.

It had been a hard day, as it always was when she spent it indoors away from the sun. She turned her face to the last rays of the sun, filtering through the glass of the buildings, she soaked every speck of it, till she felt it pulsing from her skin. She was dressed in black, a black dress suit, that was severe and professional, all except for the black dyed mocassins. Sunshine didn't move like the beautiful curvacious women that she worked around. Instead, she had a strong step, determined, the sway of her hips was not provocative, yet it still caught attention as she walked .

She hated the spotlight, and was glad to be unnoticed as much as possible, it gave her the freedom to work things her way. Coyote grumbled beside her, pushing her along the path, watching that she stayed on the sidewalk and out of the street, as she worked things through her mind. Her spirit guide had become such a part of her, that he rarely left her side. Unlike most spirit guides however, hers never said a thing, criptic or not. They had their own special way to comunicate however. Sunshine was sure she had heard him speak before, sometime when she was younger, when he had first come to her.

The sun was nearly gone as she came to her street. She might have passed the flowers by, if the odd colors had not caught her attention. Blue roses, were some of her favorites, because they were so unusual, much like herself. The little white elderflowers amused her. Leaning down she picked up the arrangement and searched for the card, even as she opened her door. Closing the door with a light bump of her hip.

" Hmm, nice senor Santino" she said softly to herself as she read the card. " Cuales son sus intenciones?... "

Coyote came in behind her and placed the little statue on the coffee table with a slight huff, that made her laugh. The flowers were placed in a vase near a window.

" I know what you think, but that one is looking for something. " she told her friend.

"Good evening, Santino.  Thank you for the gifts, the food, the entire impression.  I understand you would like to meet and talk?"  Jenna was in her office, hair left to go curly, a sundress that belied the very real experience the tigress held.

Cats were fast, especially curious cats, and Jenna exceeded the norm on curious.

"So, what is this meeting all about? What's your angle, Santino?"

"Ah bellissima, I understand you are probably cautious about me, due to the suddenness. Perhaps other reasons as well. I assure you, Signorida Jenna, I mean nothing dirty by it. As you are probably unaware, I am new to this city. New to this country, truthfully."

He knew full well about a felines curiosity, and especially the curiosity of a Khatun. It was with a great deal of composure that he held back some things he'd say, due to what she was, however, he wished for peacefulness.

"I wish to meet you because I wish to discuss the matter of this city, and the order in it. Or, rather, the lack thereof. Since you and yours seem to be the exception to this 'rule', I think we would have lots to speak of. If you are still uneasy about it, and if it will help ease those concerns, I will gladly let you decide when and where this meeting shall be."

At first she thought he was looking for an informant of sorts, but the conversation took a slightly different turn.   Her curiosity was duly piqued once more.

She gave him a public venue, a restaurant near her Spa, a date and time

"I look forward to speaking with you, Santino"  At least she was somewhat assured he was not a dirty old vampire looking to get his jollies.

"Sounds good bellissima."

Always with the restaurants. It was as if the world was out to expose him for what he was. But, he had come to expect such a thing now, and had learned to deal with working with that issue.

"I will see you then."

Now if only getting in touch with the higher ups of other supernaturals were this easy. But alas, therein lied the problem and the reason for him needing/wanting to get in touch with others. Now he could only hope he could extend meetings to others in other simple ways.
