The opening day was approaching. Santino still toyed with the day, as he both anticipated and dreaded the day of the opening. The store was his love, as he had worked it from the ground up back in Italy, but on the other hand, he wouldn't be able to make his appearance in the store during daylight hours in order to watch the enjoyment. The food was his love, but at the same time, he wanted to see what people thought of all the plans he had for the opening day.
Pamphlets went out in the mail, sent all over the city of New Orleans and the neighboring cities all around Lake Pontchartrain, and even out to Baton Rouge. He wanted as many people coming into the city as he could get, to get them familiar with his store. He was sure there weren't many like it in these parts, and if there were they'd be more heavily focused on the Tuscan style which was more french influenced than the cooking he had known as a child.

Along with being mass mailed, the pamphlet would find it's way to the local papers, and even be broadcast over the internet. Of course, Santino couldn't do this alone, but the way he got things done were of little importance to the public.
