Silent couldnt tell you why...but while cleaning and hearing gaga's phone song she had the urge to call Alex...Maybe it was cause they both were blond...and a bit trashy...or maybe cause...after all these years...She viewed Alex as a friend. Not to mention everytime she wandered the hookah she smelt the she wolf.
Ring fricken ring..It just kept going.
So she would leave a message.
"Babbbbyyyy gurl. calls me.''
And because she never knew Alex not to answer her phone she blew it up again..Calling till shewoyuld get a answer
Steven had his nose buried in the book about wolves when he heard a muffled noise. It just kept going and going. He went to his laundry, and pawed through it. The noise got louder, and he recognized it as the theme song from that cheesy vampire show on HBO. He knew the author of the books the show was based on would flip if she met the darker things of the night. Anyways, he finally clawed the phone he had found out of a pair of dirty jeans, and flipped it open.
"City morgue, you stab 'em we slab 'em. Jake speaking." He didn't know who was calling her phone, and if it was her brother he would try to find out where he was, and start gathering his hunting tools.
Well, there was a familiar voice, if not a particularly welcome one. Steven chuckled, and shrugged even though Silent couldn't see it on the other end of the line.
"Beats me. Obviously she's not here, and I found her phone. I had talked to her for a bit, and seemed intent on her brother. I don't know where he is, but I wish I did. I know you know my plan for him, Silent. Lori probably told you if you didn't hear it at Seven Sins."
He had given her enough info so she knew who he was, and the plans he knew Alex was trying for. He waited for her response, and wondered what would come of this conversation. Maybe they could smooth things over, maybe not. Only time would tell.
First off Silent would Love to know how this person...If it was a person..It was new orleans...Silent had seen..WAY to many things here....even almost died here. But it was her home..But regardless she had no fucking clue who she was talking to...So the fact that he called her by name..When knowing alex..Alex would have her listed as something so random...Or very bad...As Silent had everyone in her cell as.
"And who the fuck are you..What the fuck. Where do you have my Alex."
Silent was damn near close to saying where do you have my wolf.But when he said something about Alex's brother...Silent's heart stopped. Visions of Myc and X flooding her. Aweful memories of the short time in Vegas.Of X here in Nola.
"Oh god."
Would be all that was said..Her mind turning things over. Fuck..Fuck..Fuck. The beast within slamming against its confines.She could feel the burn of hate.Taking a deep breath. Silent knew deep down...Had she never found Ash and salvation in his arms..In the pack they created together..She would be just like them...And now he had..Shaking her head. Maybe alex found a sexy playmate and was off...No.
"I dont know of your plans or who the fuck you are. Drop her phone with lori. And stay the fuck out of this."
The phone would go dead on his end just as her phone went off with a text message from Laney.
The phone went dead after the little tirade. "Fine. What the fuck ever. I guess wolves aren't that smart after all..." Silent wasn't really making it easy on the elementalist, was she? He shrugged, not really wanting to push for her approval any more than he had. He didn't owe her shit.
He tossed the phone down, and continued about his business for the day. If he saw Lori, he'd tell her about the phone call. But for now, he'd hang on to the phone, and hopefully he'd be able to do something, anything to find this rogue wolf.
