A Primal Growl (open to all leopards)

Having staked out some prime hunting ground that went virtually unclaimed by any were, Trevor felt the pull of the moon's force as it stripped away every shred of humanity he had in him. No longer could he stand to be in the human shell that contained a very formidable beast. A night stalker. Panthera Pardus, the black leopard.

Long ago, the attack on he and his two mates by a wereleopard had taken them by surprise. That was the way of the hunter, defending his pard, and his honor. Next turning of the moon, Trevor was that hunter, and as time passed he became stronger, a more efficient killer. The power ebbed off him in a huge wave, meant to alert the leopards that it was now the call to hunt.

As he stood naked under the starlight, his muscled and tattoed body gleamed and rippled uncontrollably. He shuddered, throwing his weight forward to land on all fours. With a loud growl, that would certainly shake up the neighborhood, and attract any leopards within proximity to himself he cried out:

Honor Yerself!
Honor Yer Word!
Honor Yer Pard!
Honor Yer Earth!
Honor Yer Silence!

Be the shadows, as we hunt!

Trevor's beast took over him, as his body contorted and metamorphosed into the wereleopard he was. A dark, shadowy beast, larger than his animal counterpart, and with a powerfully muscled body meant for hunting prey emerged from the goo his human form left behind. There in the forest, he would wait for the others to respond to his primal growl.

In that vincinity was the small Thai leopard.  The first indication that Trevor was about hit her at the nape of her neck, the shiver racing down her spine and drawing her in that direction.

Having met him at a street arcade earlier in the week, she recognized the power.  The dark head turned, glowing blue eyes seeking the presence of other leopards hungrily.  She was out of the hotel in a rush, the evening descending and pulling from the petite form the Amur leopard of her beast.

The hunting grounds were located, the bag she brought dropped, small hands reached to her shirt and in one jerk it was torn from her body.  Slender hips edged back and forth as the rest of her clothing was shed and abandoned.  Running, Wani stepped on a tree stump, and jumped into the air, the change coming in a wash of clear fluid, the sound of bones shifting positions, extending, and landing silently on all four paws.

Overhead the moon reemerged from behind a drift of clouds.  Round and luminescent, the glow of its aura bathing the selected hunting area with the energy of Luna.   Racing in and out of trees, the spotted Amur licked her maw, lowered to the ground as she approached the male.

It was time to hunt.

Alyanna could feel the moon's pull. She knew it was coming soon. And she hated it when it became time. She been on her own like this for the last 42 shifts she had done. But now maybe she wouldn't have to run alone anymore the hunters that had been chasing her for the last three years seem to have forgotten about her which made her relax some more.So feeling the moons pull she dump out the content of her backpack on her motel bed. Before she would place a change of clothes in it. Before swing it over her shoulder before she began to head out toward the swampland where she knew there would be few people to get hurt.

So once arriving she would climb up into a tree to place her backpack up there so it wont get carried off or something before she would strip down to her shorts and tank top. Placing her shoes off to the side. Before watching the moon raise within the night sky. And right before the shift she felt that power sweep over the area close to her. There was another Leopard out here and it wasn't owen either. She let a scream rip through her lungs as the shift began.

Bones began to crack and move as she shifted into that African were Leopard as she fell to the ground as that clear goo would explode from her body as her shift was complete and there stood a golden and black spotted leopard. A growl would ripple through the area as she when off to find this other leopard..

He was sitting in his office doing nothing all day when all at once, something tried to claw their way out of him from within. Holding his lower abdomen, he stood to his feet then looked around the room before stepping out into the hall. A soft breath of air rushed past the Virginian's lips as his own African leopard decided to give him heads up. "I must leave. Sorry about that guys. Be back later. "He sped past the interns, patients, and other doctors and nurses then rushed straight outside where his sensitive ears listened to that growl rip into his eardrums knowing that call coming from somewhere.

Immediately, he ran home to change into something simple. A gray t-shirt, matching colored sweatpants, and some white tennis shoes that was starting to wear out one of these days. No time left, he ran outside noticing the full moon nearly revealing itself in the dark sky knowing it wasn't too long before he shifted into his other form, the beast could rip these people to shreds without thinking twice which was something he did not want to do. Sure, Owen was a nice guy but when the animal came forward things took a turn for the worst.

Another sharp sting was felt, it was almost close to the surface. The soles of his shoes tapped the ground heading towards the scents he knew well enough except this other one was one of the new leopards his male did not recognize but tonight is not the right appropriate time for introductions. Soon as he reached the area where the other leopards were at, his leopard ripped through his flesh and lots of goo was left behind just as the human shell exploded that into the African leopard itself.

Sharp teeth bared, sniffing the air that was much stronger than when he was a human. Dashing towards the crew he looked at them through dark amber pools, massive paws stepped forward to greet his fellow leopards. Beige coat and darker spots made it obvious to detect him easier in this form, he sensed Alyanna who he's spent time with the first day. His tail flickered waiting for the signal from Trevor. Ears twitched listening for sounds. He stood on the other side of Trevor while the new female was there too. Yes, it very much was time to hunt. Maw opened slightly to allow that thick tongue to sweep across his chops, almost as if the creature was thinking of pure bloody meat this very minute. It has been a long time, freedom reigned for this young male tonight. He was leopard this evening, the primal African feline was a little patient but knew to wait a little longer for the other leopards.

She knew it was coming, could feel it in the tensing of all her muscles. She rubbed the back of her neck as another ripple of tense pulled her muscles even tighter. "God, I should have looked for a place sooner." This was something she had always done alone. Never had she had a group, or another to hunt with. She couldn't shift in her apartment, no, the leopard wouldn't stay contained there for long. Her nails bit into the palms of her hands and she almost cried as she hurried along the streets towards the woods she had passed one day while exploring. Maybe that would be enough to keep her out of the city.

Her sneakered feet froze in place as her ears picked up a growl. Her eyes was already lighting to the crystal blue at the moment and she knew she didn't have much time before the leopard took over. She was never able to hold it back long and being held over at work tonight, of all nights, wasn't helping things. She took off in the direction the growl had came from, her body slow and slowing from the pain that was slicing through her. It was never easy and always hurt so bad she could barely stand it. Screw it, she though, as she started to strip as she moved. A trail of clothes were abandoned behind her as she headed for the stand of trees at the edge of the woods. She would have never made it to where she was heading. If work hadn't gotten in the way she would have, but not now. As it was she barely made it here.

She fell on her side as she entered the trees and grabbed her stomach as her bones cracked, moved and lengthened making her cry out a bit. Nails clawed at the ground as pain swamped her body and she writhed from it. Her human form exploded around her leaving a green slime on the ground around her. The Snow Leopard pushed to her feet and shook it's head before giving a growl and bounding into trot to find the others. Her stocky body more prominent then her wild counterpart. Thick, wide paws landed silently and carried her into the place where the others were meeting. Her head lowered slightly as she came upon them, those deep, soft eyes looking between them as she lowered into a crouch and waited with them. Even in her leopard form she was smaller than the others, probably the smallest in the group, so far.

Her nose lifted into the air slightly sniffed and scenting to pinpoint which ones she knew and the ones she didn't. She knew Owen's scent and the other, She sniffed again, Trevor. There were two unfamiliar ones those. She had not been introduced to them yet. Her long tail flicked and the tip twitched in anticipation of the hunt. She had a feeling this was going to be one of her best hunts yet.

That call of the moon had her on edge all night, and with Ace paceing around, they'd called work for the day. Leaving the studio, they'd started to head out of town, not knowing wher every one else was doing their hunting for the night.

It was as she was driving that that call came, and she instincivly turned towards it. So when the pair finally left the truck, and headed into the wooded swamp area, Kota had stopped. Fuck this. they'd never find their clothes if they did it this way. Having just enough presense of mind left, she turned and left her own clothing in the cab of the truck. instructing Ace to do the same.

And the two headed towards the presence of Trevor, knowing he was calling them to him. The pull of the moon was proving to be too much for both, and with skin rippling, like fingers from the inside, she let out a groan and dropped to her knees, Ace not makeing it more then a few feet away before doing the same. Another ripple on both, then skin split and fur flowed like water, and a wash of that clear, scalding good puddling ont he ground below each of them.

Dakota rose to her feet, the black beast with the darker rosettes that shone in the moonlight, and Ace the golden form with the black spots. Giving a yowling roar, she lunged forward, large paws carrying that slender, well muscled form forward, finding the others, and twining around each. Pressing her black form against each side before sitting back on her haunches, tail lashing back and forth, eager to dive into the trees and hunt.

Trevor's beast paused to nuzzle each gathered leopard, all unique in their own way as a form of welcome. The only one missing was Jessica, and he hoped that she too would join in on their foray through the woods. His tail, meant to balance him when he was at a full charge, flicked back and forth as if calling the group forward as a whole.

"Come." it seemed to say. "Its time."

Trevor led the leopards on their first and hopefully very successful hunt. Into the woods they each would disappear, until the scent of prey was discovered

Jessica was at home.... sort of... as the moon started to rise. On the lands that Milo and Marcus owned, the swamp she'd hunted in once or twice when she lived in New Orleans before, when she'd been timid and afraid. That was then, this was now. Now she was the only leopard in the mix of wolves and rats and she allowed her own power to swirl with the others, her Other Self pacing restlessly before letting loose a rasping cough that seemed to echo on that metaphysical plane. She felt them, hints of the others she'd met on the edges of the swamp, Dakota and Trevor, Owen and Nula. "Dammit.." the words murmured to herself. Phone was inside and it was probably too late for a phone call to work anyway. Hopefully, they'd feel the surge of power here from all the others gathered close and sense the thread that was her and come to join them. She looked over the collection of others all preparing to shed skin for fur, for predators waiting for the signal to hunt and she wished for a moment that there were other leopards to race through the swamp with. She'd hunted more with Milo then she ever had with Patsy, Valcrist and Valerie in Salem but after meeting up with Trevor and the others she wished they were there with her tonight. Her Other Self allowed another rasping cough to echo, letting it evolve into the snarling roar of the leopard on the hunt on that metaphysical plane, for once truly letting all of her shields down, letting the power within her surge.

Let them meet her, let them join her in the swamp, to meet Milo and his rats, to meet Ash and Silent's wolves. She was starting to think of those leopards as hers... it was an unusual feeling and one she wanted to explore on this full moon.

Large feet padded along the vegitation covered floor of the swamp land they were hunting in, stalking silently through the trees when that coughing roar echoed from the metephysical plane, and Dakota froze. Amber eye's glittering, she couldn't help but hesitate. Here, there were the new leopards. The ones she didn't know from Adam, and one that while she knew her, did not know her all that well. Never having really gotten to spend much time with Wani.

On the other hand that coughing roar was so familar, and the power that came with it so comforting to her. The well muscled black cat wavered, looking first towards Trevor and the rest, then in the other direction, deeper into the swamp. Then with a yowling roar, she butted her head into Ace, and took off deeper into the swamp. Ace racing after her, and the two headed for the sound of the one they knew. Of comfort. Of home. Another yowling roar, announcing to Jess, and whoever heard them, that the pair was comming.

What their welcome would be, who knew, but hopefully this wasn't about to be a mistake, that got the two of them hurt. Dakota trusted Jessica though, and some how, knew that the other leopardess wouldn't let them be hurt.
