A bead of sweat trickled down between petite shoulder blades.

A curtain stirred when the climate control of the building decided the temperature needed adjusting, pushing air through the aluminum ductwork and into the rooms of the lavish hotel.

The blue eyes that did not belong in the face of the pure Thai stayed fixed, the bend of her knees unchanged.

I become one with everything.  I become one with you

Discipline was as much a part of her life as Mikhail.  Always practiced, sometimes struggled with, but never given up fully.

Simple gray sweats that hovered low on slender hips, an expanse of a taut stomach, then the gray t shirt cut to hang just at her ribs, Wani looked like your average American girl.  The black hair streaked with gold looked purposely done, the blue eyes giving false indication she was of mixed heritage.

I become everything, therefore, I become nothing.

When first changed, she spent too much time in her beast form, the remnants of that time left behind to give physical attributes that broke up the pure Asian flavor of the lady.

Therefore, you, are nothing.

Small arms raised above her head, the diminutive hands came palms together, then lowered in degrees, at her forehead, in her visual field, to come to rest beneath the petite chin.

Without my anger, you have no substance.

The air was pushed from her body, tightening her abdomen, bringing her muscles to a supreme level of precise control.

Without my pride, you have no form.

The series of smoothly executed moves were performed like a dance.  A leg lifted and swept across the air, her hands moved downward, outward, then rose in an arc.  Her entire body turned and moved in the opposite direction.

One arm lowered to her chin, where the backs of her fingers brushed forward, giving a lewd, street sign of disgust.  Her face skewed up and she wiggled her fingers in the direction of Mikhails cat, Alexander.    Her own kitty, Loki, sat on a chair behind her, tail moving in an amused lashing watching the show.

Some battles were best fought with control and serenity.  Others?  Flip 'em the bird.  The loud yowling protest that came from Alexander brought a grin of satisfaction from the leopard.

Without my hate, you have....no being.
