Arrival in the French Quarter (Open)

Le Pavillon, considered the most historic of New Orleans' French Quater hotels, exemplifies genteel luxury and glittering nights. It stands eight stories high, stretching above Poydras street, with the most remarkable view of the Mississippi River. The black limousine pulled up to the front as the driver scurried to the other side to open the door for the lady in waiting. Kaleidescope eyes of a sparkling hazel gazed at the archaic beauty of the five-star hotel. Two Roman white statues greeted the visiting author, stationary within tall archways, and two white pillars outlined the glass, double doors. Large, bright, glistening chandeliers hung from the ceiling, in line to create a heavenly pathway that led to the check-in desk. Not only it's beauty captivated the author, but also it's historic novel that spoke of old memories, and ghosts in the halls. Supernaturals has always been a treasured keepsake to her heart, and when it was the moment to arrive in New Orleans, she wanted to grovel in this hotel's memoirs.

Black stiletto heels carried her lithe, petite frame inside the hotel; those round, hourglass hips swayed side to side as the black pencil skirt enveloped her thighs, creasing to the rhythm of her stride. A black corset squeezed her dainty torso, allowing her full, supple breasts divulge from the top, and resting within the valley of such breasts was a silver rosary. Those obsidian, wild curls bounced with each step she took, making a further impact inside the hotel to the check-in desk. "Bianchi." She said as a soft, Italian/New York accent rolled from her pink, wet muscle. The desk clerk signaled a bell hop, and he took her luggage to a cart, leading her inside the elevators to the top floor; The Art Deco Suite. Delicate, calloused fingers trickled in her purse for a tip, handing it over to the bell hop once he placed her luggage inside and left. The suite was truly exquisite; two queen size bedrooms, each with private marble baths and pedestal wash basins along with lion claw-footed bathtubs. It evoked the spirit of the roaring twenties with paintings by Icart and sculptures by Erte.

She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply; the sweet, therapeutic aroma of lavendar and a hint of New Orleans spices stung her nostrils. It was time to leave the bewitching suite and onward to roam the streets of the French Quarter. Leaving the hotel, she sauntered a few blocks down and stood across the street from the St. Louis Cathedral; another archaic love of the city. Night began to settle, and when the sky blossomed into a deep, dark blue, lights shone upon the statue of General Andrew Jackson riding a horse, conquering the essence of Jackson Square. Then, the scent of something even more sweeter pierced her senses; coffee. That warm, saccharine bean smelled so good, it taunted her taste buds. She weaved through the crowded tables of Cafe Du Monde, and ordered a cafe au lait. It only took seconds to arrive, and when it did, she stepped out of the cafe and sat at an outside table that was nestled against the large mountain of steps to which led to the riverwalk. Sitting down and traversing those long, slender stems over the other, she sipped on her coffee and pulled out a journal of her own written words.

The coffee, delicious, hot and sweet as it was, was like instant energy to her body, and all such dark thoughts flowed from her pen as she frantically wrote down all the beauty she could describe that surrounded her. The way the trees extended towards the sky, the way the French style buildings aligned the street, the way the coffee tasted going down her slender throat and piercing her taste buds on that thick, wet muscle, the way that people walked past her on the street, and the beautiful, inviting jazz music that sang in the open area by the cafe. She couldn't have imagined being in a more, beautiful atmosphere.

She closed her journal, standing from the outside table, and began to saunter across the street with a light step in her feet. She could almost feel the haunting memories the city brought to life, and when she stepped through those tall, iron gates that invited tourists into the small garden in front of the St. Louis Cathedral, it felt as though the civil war soldiers were marching beside her. Before all these buildings became it's true form, this place was the war grounds for the battle between Northern and Southern gentlemen, fighting for their honor and life duty to live free wherever they chose. As human as she was, the exhilirating emotion of being connected to the supernatural roamed through her soul because of writing about them since she was thirteen. She knew they did not exist, but the creative writer inside believed otherwise, and felt in her heart that she should be one of them.

The garden was empty at night, except for the straggling couples that followed the winding path for a romantic walk, and left her alone with the soldiers' apparitions. The leaves danced and swayed with each other frantically when the wind rustled through them, and she only thought of it as just the wind in a playful, inviting mood. Little did she know, there was someone in those dancing trees; a stalker of the night, a predator for human blood, and she was the chosen victim for the evening. The stalker would slightly make himself known, creeping along behind her quietly, every so often purposefully making his footsteps a light banter. She could hear those footsteps like a whisper to her ear, turn around, and nothing would be present. That bleeding heart began to pound...bump, bump, bump...Her blood coursing through her veins like a raging waterfall, and her nerves sped to a pulsating rhythm...bump, bump, bump, bump. The stalker whispered softly to her ear, "Beautiful....love....blood....thirsty," his voice singing a baritone melody, a haunting lullaby touching her soul. She quickly turned to her left, and yet again, nothing there. Was it the ghosts within that claimed the garden their home? If so, why would they say such things to her? She quickened her pace down the winding pathway, heading towards the tall, iron gate.

Before the moment of leaving the garden, strong, slender arms slipped around her waist and shoulders, and she felt her body quickly pulled into the depths of the shadows. Those glistening, emerald jewels sparkled with fear when they took in the stalker that held her in his arms. He was so incredibly beautiful, like a perfectly etched porcelain doll, and when those pearly white fangs extended to its' full length, her world faded into darkness.

There they were, Trevor, Jessica, Owen and Nula making their way back to the Bourbon Orleans' cafe for some dessert and some chatting, when Trevor got the feeling that something was amiss. Scanning the street with his emerald gaze he saw the woman, Natalia walking one moment, and then getting dragged into a dark alley by another predator. This one had a cold feeling to it. He sniffed the air. Something dead, but not quite.

When he saw the trouble brewing, Trevor felt it was his duty to help the woman. He didn't know her from Adam, but he detested leeches taking advance of folks. "C'mon mates. I dunno whats up, but someone's in a bit of trouble." Trevor went running across the street towards the alley, where the shadows were thick, yet with his wereleopard eyes could cut through the dark like it was day. He caught sight of the leech holding the woman, arm wrapped around her, fangs poised to strike.

"Oi! You there! Hate to break up this 'appy 'omcomin', but thats what I'm goin' to do. Let her go, leech!" his powerful voice echoed in the alleyway. If the vampire didn't let the woman go, he was going to mangle the shite out of him. His way. "Ye got 5 seconds to let 'er go, or its goin' to be me an' ye gettin' down to biz."Trevor said once again, feeling his energy levels rise, and his beast become angry. The others would be there, he knew, because they were one, even without saying.

"One, two..."he began counting. "Five!" Trevor stalked over towards the terrified woman, and the vamp that was holding her. Shit was about to go down in the alley as he grabbed a hold of the vampire, and and punched him hard enough to let go of Natalia. Trevor grabbed the unconscious human the vampire tried to victimize and carried her light weight in his arms towards the small group of wereleopards. "Ye take care of 'er." he said to Jess and Owen. Then turning to the vampire, he shifted quickly to half man-half leopard form without any pain. With his claws he tore at the vampire's cheek, ripping it open. He rolled back on his hind claws, circling the vampire. Spoiling for a fight, which was Trevor's habit. Trevor waited for the vampire to respond to his attack. "'s what ye get fer takin' advantage of a lady. Dun ye have any manners?"

The crisp, night air jostled the young doctor's dark chestnut hair and those dark brown eyes pierced through the night, his leopard's pools could see quite well through the dark veils. He followed alongside Trevor with the females following suit like veterans except they wasn't on any battle field. His hands tucked behind his back admiring the New Orlean sights, the buildings certainly was interesting, including the skyscrapers that rose high in the night sky above.

Some pigeons flew downward, beaks pecking the ground for grub. As much as his kitten was young, it didn't mean he couldn't still be as dangerous as the stronger one's were. A sharp shrill like a woman's echoed in his ears, nostrils picked up a human woman and another made him..gag! He covered his mouth, making a set of gagging sounds. "Is..is..that? It smells horrible. "A decay scent was not exactly brand new, he's not even sure how long he can hold his breath.

Looking at Trevor, he followed his location running in step tandem of the larger male. Releasing his hands, loathing the scent even as he got closer to the female holding her as Trevor took care of the bastard. How dare he attack someone as innocent as this lady here? A low, subtle growl echoed past his lips. Just cause he's smaller doesn't make him any less of a predator.

Kneeling down, he watched over the woman as Trevor told him to. While he took care of the fanged one over there, he checked for any possible wounds and to check if she was breathing by feeling the pulse in her wrist with his pointed and middle fingers. It was his job after all, can never be too careful. Being a Physician meant you have to do what you have to do even if the person look fine at first.

She took his hand as a warm smile spread her lips up and the small dimples could be seen in her cheeks. At the slight tug given to her she moved into the group with him and nodded to the other two as introductions were made. A nod was given and her gentle, rich voice spoke what she thought. "Nice to meet you both." And it really was nice to meet them to her since she'd not meet another one of her kind.

Her snow leopard lay on it's side the tip of it's tail flicking as it play swatted at Owen's own cub playfully. Almost daring him to pounce it. Meanwhile Nula answered the question that Trevor put forth. "I'm from Gansi, India." While her voice hid a lot of the accent that could have been there it still held just enough to make her tone slightly exotic and foreign sounding to others ears. Her attention turned to Jessica as she spoke. "Thank you."Another slight head dip was made in acknowledgement. Her golden gaze transferred between the three putting names with faces and information into usage.

Her head canted to the side slightly just watching as the other woman put her arm through Owen's just trying to figure out the basic contact rules really. She was a wildlife expert so she was curious if the same rules applied here as they did in the wild. But, then she released him and brushed her cheek against hers and let that purr roll and Nula felt happier than she had in a while. Maybe the world she was looking for was more accepted than happy. "That sounds great to me." She piped up as word of sitting and getting to know one another was brought up.

Now, that she found others she wasn't really ready to walk away just yet. She could learn things from them and make friends hopefully. Trevor voiced another question and Nula smiled as she answered showing a true love for her job. "I'm a mammal curator at the Audubon Institute." And she'd gladly explain her job if asked. She tagged along with the group mainly staying near the other female as they did so. Her concentration was on what was being said so much the Trevor's words made her blink and she looked up as he took off. Taking off with the group as he took the lead and she hung back knowing high stress and this type situation didn't do to well with her kitten since it liked to jump first and ask questions later. Plus, the smell was not helping her nay at all, but her gag reflex seemed to be a bit better than Owen's.

Her nose still wrinkled and the urge to hold her breath was strong. When he brought the young woman into the fold of the group she looked to Trevor and Jessica before she dug into one of the bags she had and pulled out a dark colored shirt, folding it she slipped it under the woman's head and sat back on her heels to watch Owen. His motions were quick and knowing as if he done them a lot. "You a doctor?" Probably a dumb time to ask, but she curious. "Is she going to be alright?"

(Sorry for taking so long to post. It's my baby girls 11th birthday! -dance- ^.^)

Strolling along with the other's she allowed her shoulders to rise and fall with Trevor's question. "I was living and working in New York but some things happened and I took a.... a sabbatical of sorts. Then I received the invitation to the Ball so here I am in New Orleans again." There was a lot unsaid in her explanation, but it was more then enough to give them the jist of her situation at the moment. "I haven't quite decided how long I'm planning to stay. It depends on my ma- Milo." She caught herself, a bit of a blink as she realized what she'd almost said. She shook her head, focusing on the moment and the simple joy of of being with the other leopards.

The scent of vampire, of fear had her attention sharpening, golden eyes searching the shadows. She nodded to Trevor, keeping pace with Nula as he went to play white knight to the poor woman. She allowed her power to flare, her Other Self snarling as it moved into a more protective pose over the little snow leopard, watching as the male's dealt first with the threat.

A glance to Owen when he took over the care of the near victim, ensuring that he had her care in hand before Jessica moved towards where Trevor stood with dealing with the vampire. A moment's focus on maincured fingers became... more.... hands shifting enough to provide the natural weapons of claws without the necessity of shifting form. "Easy Trevor. We should call the police." Calm laced her words, soothing enough to the male cat to prevent blood lust but not enough to make him vulnerable to attack. Her head canted, turning just slightly to keep vampire in view as she directed her words at Owen. "How is she?" There was no bloodscent so the woman probably either fainted or the vampire had rolled her, either way she should wake quickly under Owen's care. "Nula can you call the police please. Report a vampire attack. I'm sure they'll call for Vengence to handle things." Subtle but vicious words, the vampire would know of Vengence, the Executioner and Marshal hadn't been seen in the past few years but she knew that he had been reinstated. Of course it didn't hurt that she lived with him at the moment either.

So many thingscan go wrong to just fuck up your day. Or night...or...yeah whatever. The scent of a vampire was one of those things for Dakota. In all honesty, the scent of a vampire could sent the little leopard into hysterics, if she happens to be by herself, and that was what was starting to happen as she came upon the scene. Untill she realized that the vampire was being delt with. And not only that, but there was a group of leopards clustered around the unconscience form of a human, while another delt with the vamp.

Kota stopped short of the group. Torn between seeing if she could help, and turning in the other direction and running. It was a VAMPIRE...That alone should have made her run. But then added to the fact this group of unknow-....Ok maybe not totally unknown. One of the guys at least seemed sort of familar. His scent registering as one she'd met before....Rats.....Cat....Owen! The leopard from the bar the other night when she met Otis and the brothers!

She knew that Otis had said there was at least one other leopard, a woman named Jessica in town. But she had no idea if there were more. Though logically in a city this big, and being a main port and all, one would assume there would be. Nibbling her bottom lip, she skirted the edge of the group, as the black beast moved warily forward, stopping just at the edge of their little circle, as if unsure of it's greeting, and Kota doing the same.

That soft, huskey, voice held a thick spanish accent, as she finally worked up the courage to speak. "Um...D...Do you guys. um....need any help?"

Light, tiny footsteps carried her lithe frame down the dirt road, allowing her slender digits rustle through the soft, yet pointy leaves of the large, welcoming vineyard. The sweet, tender aroma of grapes were inhaled deeply as she closed her eyes, feeling the warm sun's rays wrap a blanket of heat around her alabaster skin. She sprinted into a run, the wind picking under her feet, and the extensive, stucco Italian house grew closer, and closer. There, she saw her beautiful mother, swinging on the porch, drinking a glass of wine as she summoned a wave. Her brothers were off in the distance with their father, horseback riding through the grape field, trotting closer to the mansion. Was she back in Italy? She looked up into the sky, and the sun started becoming brighter and brighter until finally....

Those glistening hazel orbs opened widely, the sparkling, night sky becoming clear within her vision first, and then a dark haired man to her left. His fingers were upon her wrist, and then trailed upwards to lean her head left to right, examining her neck. When she looked to her right, she saw two women with long, dark hair that flowed around them gracefully from the Mississippi River breeze; worried gazes within the depths of their eyes. She arched her neck forward, realizing there was yet another woman just approaching the group. She rested her head back once more to find a cloth material beneath. She could hear their voices, but she didn't realize what they were saying. They all had their own pitches and melodies, but concerned, nonetheless.

And then she heard growls, animalistic growls and terrorizing hisses not too far behind her. Fear flooded her once again, over taking her body before she realized she jumped into the man's arms that was examining her body. Her bare, cold arms wrapped around his neck while her legs rested within his own, shivering with absolute fright in a cradle position against him. She buried her face within his chest, closing her eyes so tightly, her head began to throb with pain. Her pulse quickened to a non-stop pace, her heart beating so rapidly within her chest as though it could hardly contain the constant rate, her blood boiling in her veins to a temperature like hot, liquid lava. She opened her eyes once more, gazing at each person that surrounded her with deadly fear, shaking her head side to side as those black licorice curls curtained her cherub features, and buried her face within his chest again.

Trevor was rightly cheesed off. He absolutely hated leeches, and this one had the nerve to hunt down an innocent lady. But he felt Jessica's soothing prescence at his side, and Trev backed down. He left the vampire alone to patch up the rip in his face, which probably wouldn't take long considering they healed quickly. Trevor would have continued, but Jessica was the voice of reason.

He very quickly shifted back to normal form, because he couldn't really talk clearly while in half man/half beast. Even the words he had given the vampire couldn't really be understood, coming out in an animalistic way. Jessica explained the situation, about reporting the vampire to the authorities, as she directed Nula to call. Owen was kneeling down taking Natalia's vital signs. Hopefully he hadn't been too late to save her.

Turning around to face the group he met at the arcade, there was a new face in the crowd. Dakota. His beast met hers on a metaphysical level, the dark one brushing up against her cat in greeting. "Ta everyone. How is she, Owen?" asked Trevor. When Dakota spoke, almost stammering, Trevor released a wave of comfort that would brush up against her skin.

"Hallo there. Name's Trevor Radcliffe, wots yers?" A siren wailed in the distance, and then lights flashed just outside the alleyway as the authorities arrived for the vampire, who wasn't going nowhere as long as Trevor was there. He'd stalk the fucker down if necessary, and tear him to shreds if he even thought about running into the shadows.

The female victim, Natalia, was coming out of her unconscious state as Owen tended to her. Undoubtedly, she had quite a scare and hopefully she wouldn't be frightened by a large group of wereleopards that had come to her aid when she needed it most. The authorities rushed in, carting off the vampire who would pay the penalty for his misdeeds. Trevor narrowed his gaze at the offender who gave him a hateful glare as he passed, being dragged off down the alley to the patrol car.

Looking down at Natalia with kind emerald eyes, Trevor spoke. "Oi lovey, ye got yerself into a heap of trouble tonight. May we help ye find the place yer stayin' at, so ye will be safe an' sound?" It was apparent she was either mind rolled or just passed out in shock from seeing the vampire. No real harm done, so the group had shown up in time to save the day.

Breath, check. Pulse rate normal, check. And there was no set of bite marks on her neck, also a check. Even if the woman was fine, he had to be sure of mentality check. Any event like this could rupture the mind at some point so he was making sure the woman wasn't traumatized based on attacks like this one. Before the footfalls, his sensitive ears picked up Anula then watched Jessica whose all about reason instead of using action to make a point across. Yes, if the offender must pay, the police would handle it.

Owen continued to stay in arms length of Natalia, knowing from the looks of things she'll be okay, he wasn't at all too late. If he was, then he would have known for sure if he had been. Someone asked a question, canting his head slightly to Anula who didn't know of his position up until now he confirmed that he was. Nodding his head, a feign smile cross his lips. "I am. I'm actually a Dermatologist, but I heal all kinds of wounds. Both humans and supernaturals alike. "He then turned to Jessica giving her a report of the lady's health who stood unconsciously under him until she came to.

The comfort she gave was welcomed, it was best he thinks she should rest or at least balance herself before walking again, that is unless he can trust her enough to move a few steps or more then he knew she will be better. "She'll be fine. Doubt that guy did any further damage soon as we all got here. "He answered both Trevor and Jessica, both arms wrapped around the woman who buried her face into his chest. From how things turned out, he has to say that this femme here may or may not remember too much. Holding up two fingers, he inquired of the female. Better to be safe than sorry. "How many fingers am I holding up? "He held up two fingers of his right hand a few paces from her face. Listening to the sirens, then watched men in uniform walked towards the culprit who attacked an innocent person. Hearing cuffs snap on wrists, Owen looked up at the vampire who passed all of them. Good riddance.

He thought to himself, not speaking the words out loud. A new leopard was sensed, his own African Leopard met Dakota's own by brushing his cheek against her beast. She asked about some help. "Think we could use all of it. She's afraid, I know cause I feel it. "His jaws clenched, wishing he could do anything for this woman whose been a victim of an attack, a vampire attack at that. He picked upon the rapid rhythms of her heart beat, the rushing of blood in her arteries like he was listening to a stream rushing in a brook. Yes, he felt fear and smelt it on her.

She was not out of the woods yet, feeling they need to get her somewhere safe. For this, he asked Trevor and Jessica what they should do now that she was out of harms way. "What do you guys think we should do with her? "Looking down he didn't know the identity of this girl, but soon as they get to some ground where she can talk to them that'll be even better. For now, all he cared about was that she wasn't going to be a victim of anymore attacks than just this one a few hours ago.

The black beast's tail lashed back and forth nervously, untill that wave of comfort slid around her from Trevor, and the black female was faced with a black male, and the african leopard that was Owen's beast. Comfort eased nervousness and she finally let out a soft breath, nodding her head.

"I'd be freaked out to if I was her.." In response to Owen. The accented voice of Trevor penetrated her mind, and she blinked, looking at him after a moment. "Dakota.... Dakota Sanchez..." spanish Accented voice said the last name as it should be, and she managed a little smile.

Hell the only ones she really seemed to be comfortable around lately were Otis, Alex and Theo. She hadn't had all that good experiances with her own kind in the last few years. London really being the exception to the rule.

At Owen's question of what they should do with her, she bit her lip, hands tucked in her pockets. "Find out where she lives maybe? Take her home?"

Owen's explanation got a simple "Oh." before she got quiet because she didn't want to interrupt him while he was checking the girl over. Her gaze turned and darted down the way Trevor and Jessica were for a moment before she bit her lip. She was glad she had met them, and sad this had happened to the young woman. The excitement of it all was causing a real battle between the girl and the kitten, because the kitten was curious and wanted to protect her. But, she was able to sooth the leopard enough for it to just pace back and forth a bit before it went over to seek reassurance from Owen's own kitten by rubbing up against him.

When Jessica asked her to call the cops she nodded and dug through her purse for her cell. "Will do." She stood and moved away from the group a bit encase the human was to wake up. She did give the new comer to the group a smile as she went and tried to remember her name, but her mind was on other things at the moment. She didn't want the poor girl to hear her calling the cops on a vampire. It'd probably scare the poor girl out of her mind. She could only imagine what hearing something like that would do after being attacked by the vampire. Her nose wrinkled as she remembered the smell as she talked to the police. Flipping the phone she walked over and nodded to Jessica letting her know the message was relayed.

Then her eyes swept to Trevor as if making sure he was alright. She always gave vampires a wide berth because she didn't want to mess with them. Vampires were one thing she had came across in India. Of course, there were a few other things as well. She'd smelled another Lycanthrope before, but never met them. Always keeping her distance for some reason. Maybe it was something they were emitting or maybe it was just her. But, regardless, she was here with the group now and she still had tons to learn. The sirens made her ears perk a bit before the lights could be seen as well. Her gaze left him as they offender was drug away. Her golden eyes shifting to look that direction.

After a moment she turned to the Spanish one and smiled. "Sorry I ran off like that. I didn't catch your name." She offered her hand as she moved close. "I'm Nula." She looked a bit shy as she said it, but at least she had taken the initiative to introduce herself. Which was an improvement. Maybe being around others was better for her, made her feel more secure for some reason. Her kitten seemed content and calm enough to flop down on it's side and just watch what was going on.

"I think we should take her home if she is fine." Her husky voice pipped up as she looked between the group. "After we find out where she lives, that is." She glanced around the alley for a moment. "She didn't drop a purse or anything did she?" They could always find out that way maybe.

It was only after the police had arrived and took custoday of the vampire that she allowed the subtle shift of her claws to retract back to the manicured hands of a woman. Explaining everything to the police was always interesting but all things considered she thought she'd done well. Did she drop Ash's name? Would she apologize to the wolf when she saw him next? Of course. But it made things a lot easier when she was able to explain that she would be able to explain things directly to the executioner in town and that yes, he definitely knew how to contact her.

Once all the legal fuss was dealt with, she returned to the others, having kept them mostly out of the police regard, simply saying that they were witnesses, she was unsure how many of the others were 'out' after all, she had made somewhat of a name for herself in New York, working with the City Council as a poster girl for shifters, there really was no reason to hide now.

The latest addition to their little group was given a nod, brow furrowing slightly as she studied Dakota. It was when the Other Self pounced over to the darker cat that the hint of familiarity blossomed into memory. "Dakota? From Detroit?" She had some interesting memories of Detroit, of a Nimir Ra that had convinced her they were mates. But one of the things she remembered was some of the other leopards she'd met that she'd wished she'd stayed in contact with, Dakota was one. "Its Jessica." She moved to the other woman, leaning close to brush her cheek to hers. "How have you been?"

That shy smile was given to Nula as she introduced herself, and she nodded. "Mucho gusto..." And then that scent that touched her mind and brought back memories of detroit had her eye's going wide. "Jessica....Jess???" Kota's eye's went any wider and they were going to pop out of her head.

"Your friends with Otis right? And Milo?" Well fucking hell! The leopard that Otis kept telling her she needed to meet with, was one she already knew! Shakeing her head, she nuzzld Jess's cheek, and smiled. Fighting back the memories of Detroit, and gave a little smile. Well hell. Maybe things with the other leopards wouldn't be so bad after all!

The sound of the siren whailing and singing in the night sky lifted her face from the man's buried chest, and she felt a little of relief. Glistening emerald hues peered behind her nude shoulder, watching the cops take away the man that attacked her. Her eyes squinted, and when she saw those fangs extended to it's full length, thrashing around as the cops cuffed him, she shook her head. Perhaps her eyes were playing tricks on her. There's no such things as vampires. Vampires are fiction, lycanthropes are fiction, everything she writes about these creatures are fiction, and it was impossible for them to exist in such a human world.

When the other man approached with an accent, asking for her name and where she lived, she looked up to the doctor, and gave approval of release. Using him as a crutch, she stood from the ground, and ran those slender, calloused hands down her dress, smoothing out the wrinkles and dusting off the dirt. Each person seemed to tower over her, so when spoken to, she cleared her throat.

"Natalia Bianchi. I'm currently staying at Le Pavillon on Poydras street if you would like to take me there." She inclined, her thick, Italian/New York accent rolled from her pink, wet muscle. Her name should ring a bell to fellow women and men that circled her, if they were into reading novels. She was proclaimed best author for Vampire and Lycanthrope fiction reading, and would be considered a very high threat to each of them for how much information she truly knew, even if she thought it was fiction. It was no wonder the vampire tried to attack her.

Emerald jewels sparkled at each face, and deep within those eyes was true appreciation for what they did. "I don't remember much, only that I was walking around the garden, and I was attacked. After that, I blacked out. I would like to thank you all for helping me from the bottom of my heart. And for that, I owe my life to you." Perhaps once she would learn their names, gifts would be given soon.

Trevor was relieved when the authorities did show up and cart the vampire off in their patrol car. For his misdeed, Trevor hoped the Executioner was in his future. Good fucking riddance. There was a circle around the human now, made up of wereleopards. Hearing Dakota and Jessica speaking to each other, it seemed the pair knew each other from somewhere.

He let them talk amongst themselves, while he gathered his thoughts. First and foremost, they needed to get this woman somewhere safe where no harm would come to her. Owen had ensured that her physicial health remained intact, but certainly there would be psychological effects on Natalia. He crouched down so his 6'4" frame wouldn't be so imposing.

"Poydras Street? Anyone know where tha' is? Sorry luv, I'm not familiar wi' New Orleans jus' yet. One of them was bound to know where the woman's hotel was. Maybe they could drop her off safely in her room, and then the small group could meet in the cafe to chat. His verdant depths studied Natalia's as her head turned away from Owen's chest.

"Names Trevor Radcliffe. Ye were kinda out of it when I pulled ye away from tha' maggot." he said in a husky English accent. He hoped the others around him would also introduce themselves as well to the woman, who didn't know her rescuers from Adam. When Natalia rose to stand, Trev rose as well, reaching out a steadying arm to the woman.

"Now luv, there's no need fer all tha'. We were jus' doin' wha' comes natural." Well if Trevor hadn't noticed her walking and vanishing, she would have been easily overlooked as just another victim of a senseless murder. If Natalia wanted to thank them though, really, he couldn't stop her even if he tried. He would wait until someone could lead them to Natalia's hotel, since he didn't know where in hell it was. After all, he had just gotten off a tour bus.

Embarrassment shrouded the doctor's face when she gave an address he most certainly did not know. It became apparent that his presence in New Orleans was similar to Trevor's own. Perhaps, Natalia can lead them in the right direction seeing she lives there and all. Almost forgetting his manners, Owen pressed a left fist across his chest nodding to her etiquettely when she spoke of sincere gratitude to each of the wereleopards. "It was no biggie Natalia. We're all just glad you are safe. As for this address, I doubt I have much expertise where this location is since I only been here a few months. "He was happy to see she was doing just fine, but knew she probably may never forget the event that took place in this alley, on this street.

He was alert to such trivial things. Looking to Trevor then Jessica who settled the score with the vampire there, the others who had arrived may have been too late to discover what has taken place here. Dakota and Anula were the last to show themselves. As for dropping a purse, Natalia seemed fine enough to give them enough information. Hearing Trevor introduce himself, the young Physician soon followed suit. "Likewise, the name is Dr. Owen Connors. "A sweet, elegant smile crossed his face as he waited for the girls to identify themselves.

Oh, it does look as if Dakota and Jessica has met before which he was a little surprised to learn of that now. Good to see how everything can slip into place like a key to a keyhole. Now, soon as the girl got home safe it was time for them to continue their debut to the cafe if he was correct that was where they was heading before all of this took place. Lots of catching up to do.

She curled an arm around Dakota's waist, drawing the smaller woman closer as she turned to look over the woman they'd helped. "Otis and Milo? You're Otis's Kitty Kat aren't you?" She had to laugh, shaking her head a bit. Small world and sometimes she thought that Milo was the Kevin Bacon of the supernatural world. Everyone was within Six Degrees of Milo. Frightening but true!

"Its not that far from here." She focused on Natalie and the others, having heard the address she'd mentioned. "A few blocks. I'm sure we can all walk you there. We were just going to get some coffee right?" Her smile was warm, letting her power soothe over the others, easing them from the tension of the incident with the vampire. "Are you alright to walk?" Her words for Natalie but her gaze flitted to Owen, trusting the doctor's assessment of her. She didn't appear to be in shock, simply shaken up from her attack. Free arm reached to link through Nula's, guiding the women closer to where Trevor and Owen stood with Natalie. The males could assist the young woman and she would walk with the women. Six leopards surrounding a fragile human, part of her wished that someone would challenge them, she hadn't been in such a group in years, it was a heady feeling.
