Astrid would pull out the wore leather bound book that was tied up with a red ribbon. Before untying the ribbon before sitting it on the desk within the suite as she pulled out a magical pen as she began to write in the journal.

Well I arrived in New Orleans yesterday night. It was a long night getting everything settle in the Penthouse suite that Viktor has set up for me and Rex. It a beautiful Suite. Bigger then my apartment in New York city.But also I had a very interesting night last night. Rex had dragged me to this place called the Hookah bar. Well two twin vampires came into it to see this young female. But seem more well scary to everyone else. I'll have to find out who they are and see if Viktor can find any information on them on his end. While I did more digging on my side.But other then that it had been quiet. Well I need to get going I'm going on a tour of New Orleans

Once she got done writing she would speak in latin as the word on the paper would dissappear . Before she would close the book up tying the ribbon then place the pen in it's secret spot in her suitcase. Before placing her journal in the desk for the time being.
Astrid would make her way into her bedroom before laying across the bed before reaching underneath the matress pulling out the journal and the magic pen. Saying the magic words before she open the journal to began writting in it.
Dear Journal,
Well lets say that I have met some interesting people since being here in New Orleans. There is Taran who took me to the ball. Which I guess we had a good time since I really don't remember much about it. But also I'm kinda worry since Taran never called the next day. Then there is Joseph. He is the first person here in Nre Orleans that I seem to trust to let him know what I am. And in return he told me what he was. Well that is he is a Vampire. What is with vampires and me. I know I'm powerful but they seem to me draw to me. But anyway time for me to go to bed. Nite
Astrid would be sitting on the balcony of her penthouse suit in one of the rocking chair with her journal in her lap and that magical pen with her as she began to write.
Dear Journal,
Well the last couple days have been very interesting in the least. Well the night before I help stop a wolf from attacking a group of people which I knew with the help of Lori and her gift which I didn't know that she had. Hers seems to be a lot stronger then mine. But also I just found out three or four months ago that I had that ability. But I had called on the earth to trap the wolf long enough for us to escape. Rex was pissed at me for living the room without him. But I needed some alone time too. Plus I couldn't sleep and I didn't want to wake him up. But the worse thing was someone in the group I didn't know well was injured so we had taken him to the hookah bar to get him fixed up. I think my sewing the wounds closed was good even thought I hadn't done it in so long. I'm thinking about getting a place down here for a while until Viktor tells me to come home. But anyway I need to do some errands. Later

Well it has been quite the last few weeks. I had a opening for my club which didn't really turn out very good. But I'm not upset. It was the first day so once words get out that it's here . The business will pickup hopefully. A week ago I went to a carnival it had been a while since I had been to one it was weird to me. Since the last time I had been was with my twin sister. But I had ran into Joseph which he had joined me in riding some rides.But also playing some games .Which I had a lot of fun and enjoyed myself a lot . Then we rode the Ferris wheel. I'm starting to trust him a lot . Since he been the only real person I keep running into around here. And able to really talk to since he knows what I am other then some other people. Maybe he is stalking me ? I dunno just a thought. Rex is still around hanging out. But I think he has found himself a girlfriend since he has been going out at night getting all dressed up and smelling good. He is just a ham. So I found a couple house I like here. But I don't know which one to pick . It's hard to choose. Well I need to get some sleep. Later.

I think I might be the stupidest person in the world. I became one of them women who let herself have a one night stand. And I feel horrible about it. The sex was good but afterward he seem to become distance from me. I thought there was something between us. I thought there was a actual connection but I guess not.So we when are separate ways. And now I get to go distract myself so I can get him off my mind. Goodnight Journal.

It has been a while since writting within you. Things have been busy with The Aerie.It's been a while since I have been around people since I been working all the time now. Not a moment to sit and rest. I can't believe I'm sitting here writting in you. Well work is calling I need to get back.
