~ Astrid had been keeping a eye on the house where Zoe was living for a week now. So she knew that this house was busy. There were people coming in and out of the house all the time. But that was ok. So finally thinking it was good time to approach Zoe. Having Rex follow the girl toward the french quarter and watched as the girl when into a little clothes boutique on a little side street. The dresses where beautiful and hand made by a seamstress. ~
~ Astrid would have Rex pull up in front of the store letting her out as she would shut the door and watch as Rex when to park the car and wait for her. Blonde hair was loose and curly, today while her upper body was concealed in a beautiful satin blouse that sat off her shoulders. A black pencil skirt wrap around her lower body and black ballet slippers grace her feet which carried her within the boutique. Honey color orbs would dance around the store to spot Zoe. Then would pretend to look through the racks of clothes slowly making her way closer to Zoe. Taken a couple pieces off the racks and made her way toward the fitting room. ~
Ok, so just about everyone on the planet knew Zoe liked to shop. Not only for herself, but those she loved as well. She'd gone to the boutique, a place she had found not two weeks earlier, to find something for her bubbly blonde best friend. Maya had great taste, most of the time, but the french girl had noticed the spark in her eyes occasionally when pulling out one hot little number for a night out on the town. So a few of the Christmas presents she was getting for her petite friend was a mini-wardrobe of fantastic dresses that would flatter her to perfection. She hoped it would help to make up for how distant she had been with her friend after the attack.
Chocolate eyes scanned of the assortment of finely crafted hand-made confections, picking out one off the rack every now and then until she had about 4 in her hands. Out of the corner of her eyes she noticed Astrid perusing the aisles, and turned her head giving the woman a polite smile while tucking her long hair behind an ear. It was then that se found a dress that she just fell in love with. Of course, she was shopping for her friend, but would it hurt for her to try on just one thing for herself? Besides, in her head she wouldn't really be buying it to wear for her, but for someone else in mind, so it totally didn't count. Pulling the dress down, she let one of the saleswomen hold the other dresses she'd picked out for Maya before heading into a dressing room.
The dress was gorgeous and showed off her long, lithe frame and slender curves in almost doll-like fashion. The mirror in the dressing room however did not provide the most flattering of views, so she stepped out a few moments later to stare at her reflection in the three-way mirror, making small posses here and there, a pleased little smile tugging at her lips as she imagined the look she would hopefully receive when wearing the little ensemble.
~ While looking over the clothes she would give her a smile back when she looked her way. Watching her disappear into the dressing room. Then come back out. Slowly moving by the three way mirror as Zoe seem to be looking herself over in the dress as she would slowly stop to lightly speak to the girl. ~ " That dress looks lovely on you.." ~
~ Hopefully that would get a conversation...started. Slowly approaching her she would drape the couple dresses over her arm that she was holding ~ " That color also helps bring out your eyes too.." ~ Slowly extending her hand ..to Zoe ~ " I'm Astrid. So you are shopping for a dress for the holidays or are you looking for gifts? " ~ Letting her hand fall to rest on the top of the dresses that lay on her arm to let her fingers smooth over the material a bit ~
~ But also she would glance back behind her toward the front of the store to see Rex her bodyguard sitting in one of the sits near the entrance for the males with some magazines since they don't always like shopping. Then letting her honey color orbs move back to Zoe waiting her answer ~
