F A M I L Y: Father, Ainbheartlach, Hound of the Wild Hunt; Mother: Maeve, demi-fey
H I S T O R Y :
In days gone by, long before mortals put pen to paper, the Fae roamed the Earth. It was in that time that Ainbeartlach, in his duties to the Hunt bespoke the demi-fey and had dealings with Maeve. Unbeknown to many, Maeve held the gift of growth and after her dealings with the Hound decided to tarry with him. They were gifted with a daughter, Taerlach. Unwilling to raise such a large and ungainly child, Maeve left her in the hands of her father to be raised in the kennels of the Hunt and as she grew it was clear that she as many of mixed lineage she held gifts from both her parents.
Small amongst the Hounds Taerlach focused used those skills from her mother’s line to bring the spying skills of the demi-fey to the Hunt, often used as scout, flying above to search out their prey or slipping unseen into the darkest corners to track and spy.
Centuries passed and she continued to hone her skills, providing an alternative for spying that did not involved the deals and payment that the demi-fey often required. The terror of their prey as the Hunt roamed was more then enough to sate her hunger and she was often rewarded with first taste of spilled blood.
As the mortals spread over the earth in a plague she refused to become bound to the Old Ways within the Slithen, slipping out now and again as iron and steel marred the world to learn of the inventions of the mortals. Learning their weapons as well as their techniques for spying and tracking, testing herself in against their skills.
