After the meeting with Ash Jessica spent some time doing research on intentional infections. They were rare cases, as she'd explained to Ash, but there were some cases. And for each of those that were approved to be done under medical care there ten that were denied and yet, somehow, the patient still wound up infected. It took time to pull up the data and study the results. She was positive that Malcolm had done the same research in providing information to Ash but she still wanted to see the studies for herself.

It was clear after she compiled all the information that having it done in a clinical setting with sufficient medical care greatly improved the success rate.

There really was nothing further she could do at this point until she spoke with Lyric.

Reaching for the card that Ash had given her, she dialed the number, waiting for it to ring and for an answer on the other end.

"Hello, this is Dr. Jessica McFarland. I had a meeting with Ash last night regarding your situation and I was wondering if we could meet and discuss it."
