H I S T O R Y : Delilah was born three minutes before new years. Janet from New York city's Adoption Agency took the baby to her new awaiting parents. The birth mother disappeared after Delilah was born. No one heard of her ever again. The Morgans were the happiest set of parents on earth the moment Delilah came into their lives. They did everything for the child. The Morgans were a very giving and loving family. They were volunteers in homeless shelters, they would often travel with baby Delilah to different states for the Build - A - Home program. That was where Delilah learned the joys of helping people. As she grew, so did a special gift. At the age of five she was already hearing inner thoughts of her family and her friends. Christina Morgan took her daughter to see the local Witch, who explained that their daughter was very special. after a reading, they discovered that Delilah had a little bit of Fae genetics within her. That never stopped the Morgan's from loving their adopted daughter. Encouraging her to use her gifts and helping her train as best as they could, as well as learning to shield so they wouldn't burden their daughter with unneeded thoughts.
Years later, a terrible tragedy struck New York and Washington. The year was 2001 on September 9th. Delilah and her parents had by then moved from New York. They watched in horror at the images on TV. That caused Delilah's second power to come online. Crying and scared at what was to come, objects started flying across the room. Her parents were unsure what was happening at first. They quieted Delilah down as best they could. That was when they noticed that it was their precious little girl that was causing the objects to fly. The local witch had cautioned that Delilah might have more than one gift.
Even more years pasted. The Morgan's moved from Chicago to New Orleans after the disaster of Katrina. Building homes, volunteering at homeless shelters and being the good hearted people they always were. Delilah helped her parents after school at times. Juggling her powers, school and a personal life. The Morgan's worried and waited how their little girl's teenage years would help shape and transform her.
