Astrid would place the number into the phone then would place it against her ear to listen to the lovely sound of the ringing. Slowly leaning back into her chair as she cross her legs, waiting on the phone to be either picked up or for it to go to voice mail.
=Jessie hadn't actually been expecting a phone call. Then again Viktor rarely gave him a heads up about that kind of thing. The man up North had said that someone would be contacting him about the matter with the Twins, but he didn't really know what to expect. Still, he always kept his cell phone inside the pocket of his jacket just in case the boss man needed him. When it began to ring he pulled it out and checked the unfamiliar number before answering.=
"Hello, this is Jessie."
=His voice was warm, low, and had an accent that was vaguely South-Western. Hard to place, but kind. Hearing the girl on the other end explain who she was and who had told her to call he looked around him at the cafe he was sitting in. Just a gut instinct to make sure no one important was within hearing distance.=
"Look hon, why dontcha come and meet me so we can discuss that matter in person. Ah'll give ya my address and you can swing by later this evening. How'd that be?"
=If Astrid was game then he would rattle off his address to her with instructions on a time to get there. Before slipping the phone back in his pocket he said a polite goodbye. Then once again his attention was turned to the man sitting across from him in the booth and their discussion of this rather kicking afterlife.=
- Astrid would gently playing with a string on the black skirt she was wearing while she waited for Jessie to pick up on the other end. A smile would creepy along her lips hearing the male voice pick up - " Hello Jessie this is Astrid a friend of Viktor's . I was informed to contact you to set up a meeting . I think meeting in person would be better suited for this for the both of us " - When Jessie rattle off the address she wrote it down on a little piece of paper - " That sounds great I will see you then "
