She'd tried a few choice places, Silent's scent lingered in them all, but the Lupa herself was nowhere to be found. It had been on Jenna's mind for some time that there were members of the Pack she wanted to meet. Silent was one of them. The Hookah was her last option of the day.
The black on black Viper rolled to a stop, the sunglasses were slid to rest on top the blonde head, hair clipped up just to maintain a little semblance of cool in the middle of a blast of summer heat that made her want to snarl and spit. Unfolding the tall frame from the vehicle, she headed inside the establishment.
The door thudding closed behind her, clear eyes glanced around the main room. She was here. She could smell her, hear the faint beat of a wolven heart. Jenna closed her eyes, tipped her nose upward and breathed in the fragrance. Exhaling, she opened her eyes and wandered toward a table. The place was empty for now, but soon it would be filled with those coming and going and seeking respite from the day to day grind of living. Wolf, tiger, human or otherwise, there were times that life could get the best of you and you needed to let down your hair, dance on a table, howl at the moon and know that you still had it, somewhere inside your soul.
That is, for those who still had a soul.
The pink skirt was wrapped around her hips, topped with a lacy black tank that moved over her torso with careless elegance. Golden skin was revealed in the length of slender arms, the long shapely legs, and the exposed part of her back. The high heeled black Chinese laundry shoes gave off the impression of girlie cuteness.
But she was no girl, and her cute days were few and far between, mostly revealed in the moments alone with those she loved. Geller being the top of that list. Both Jenna and her white tigress held the scent of a dominant wolf. It lay on her as perfectly as the golden hair or smooth honeyed skin. A part of her, a part that she would define as the best part.
Lowering to a chair, she leaned back and stretched an arm to rest on the table, her bare back touching the cool of the chair. She knew Silent would appear soon, and there was no rush. This was a first formal hello. She had a feeling that someday she and Silent were going to need one another. That was not defined or formed in her mind, just a gut feeling that Jenna had learned to trust.
Silent had been doing her rounds. It was ritualistic with Silent. Coffee at cafe Envie. Then a stroll down decatur stopping in random shops and bars to say hello. Those sparkly red doc martins beating a path all over the quarter. So there was no wounder why her scent was left all over the city. In Jackson Square where she would dance with the drunk street kids to the sorrowful songs of the musicans..Or lay out her palm out and listen to the false tales the card readers that littered the square would spin.
She would weave her path all over todays soundtrack was Adele. Sil would find her self randomly singing out the lyrics outloud drawing stranger looks then normal. Mainly because Silent was rather colorful and hard to notice and the fact she didnt hide her strange eyes that screamed IM NOT HUMAN.Or the fact that many didnt forget who Silent was. Not when the Master of the City and Silent had never made their connections secret. The things Silent had done in Tino's name were unforgettable..If not unforgiveable. But this was home. She had her hometime glory here.
It was near dusk when Silent would finnally arrive at the Hookah. Within hours the place would be filling withing hours. The hookah smoke would soon curtain the place mixing with the smoke of the insence. Giving the place a magical touch against the lights and music of the bar. But for now it was all but empty. Silent moved into the place with preditory movements. A queen in her domain..Which the hookah was. It would always be her safe haven. It was the last gift Vaughn had given to her..And the first gift Ash had given to her when he reclaimed the Hookah chain in Salem for her.
The first thing Silent would notice is Jenna..Much like Jolene..She stuck out in this place. The hookah attracted a special crowd..Other then lycan. But even those lycans that did come here..They tended to be wolven or rat. But even looks aside the heavy scent of Geller that clung to the tiger was enough to attract Silent's attention. She hadnt seen Ash and her Lupe since the night that the L-Bomb was dropped. Those colorful tri colored hues moved over the tiger queen.
Silent and Jenna had never met formally. But from the marveled tales from Nyx and the stories Dee and Sirus had gone about...Silent had always wanted to meet the woman. Moving to bar she would let the tiger come to her. Besides Sil had business to do after all, Though she would give the woman a small nod as she moved behind the bar.
And come to her she did. Jenna had no interest in posturing and posing, she wanted to meet Silent, and if possible, form at least a civil relationship. This was, after all, Silent's turf and Jenna, a guest. The blonde head gave a regal incline to Silent, the smile that curved the luscious full lips warm and open. Rising from her chair, the never ending legs stood apart while she plucked up her purse and keys.
Arriving at the bar, she finally spoke.
"It's good to finally meet you, Silent. I think we crossed paths once, several months back at a strip club."
It had been a chaotic night, people meeting and greeting and she had only been there because of a text Geller sent her, later they called it their second date. It had been a long, rough road from that night to this. Now she was fully mated to the Lupe of the New Orleans Pack. His beast claimed hers, and while the specifics were between the pair of them, there was no doubt that this was Geller's mate. Jenna never saw herself mated to a tiger, she'd always known it would be another type of lycan. It was only when she met Charles Geller that she experienced being part of a man that she could love with her whole being.
Jenna had always wanted to meet Silent as well. She didn't know a lot about her, but she knew she was a friend of Geller and that she'd been through a few changes since New Orleans. Whether one was moving here for the first time or re settling, it had not been an easy move for any of them. The ranks and positions shifting and turning, until a solidification came about that defined each group. The long blonde hair was smoothed over her shoulders as she stood on the opposite side of the bar. She didn't have to introduce herself, the pair had at least laid eyes on one another prior to this evening.
"I won't keep you, as you seem quite busy. I'm either at the tiger house, the Spa, or at Geller's." She slid a card from between slender fingers to lay on the bar counter.
"My numbers. While I know the Pack has all they need, you never know when a tiger queen may come in handy, or even just an ear to bend."
