Bastian sat at the studio where Avery did her work. he had spent most of his time either there with here or back at the tiger house. But he was itching to tell jenna about the most recent developments and then to find out about the Tigers hunting lands possibly being at his place, and having grabbed her number when he was invited into the horde he dialed it up on that samsung Epic and waited. Getting her voicemail his voice spoke to get the message out.
"Afternoon Jenna, It's Bastian... I uh, was wondering if we could talk sometime soon. I know your busy but as soon as you could spare a moment I, well we...well I. Piss it, I need to talk to you when you get a moment if you could please Jenna."
Bastian cursed at himself for the voicemail and shook his head. Waiting to get the call back before be did anything else. Avery was dead set that he should be the one to tell jenna so being the man he was he would. Toot sweet even.
Jenna was stuck in holiday weekend traffic. The bumper to bumper mess was the perfect time to check her voicemail. It was hotter than Hades today, the summer heat returning with a fury that made it clear it was not over yet. The blonde hair was clipped up, large dark sunglasses perched on the bridge of her nose, she listened to Baz's message.
"What the..." Baz didn't seem the kind to be that unsure of himself, so it must be some bloody big news. She called his number and waited to hear his voice.
"Oye...what's up, Baz?" A horn honked near her and she glanced around to see a gentleman in a suit lifting his arms and spewing expletives, then looked straight ahead.
"Is this something we need to talk about face to face or should I sit in this hot car, in this tangled mess, and hope it's good news?"

Hearing his phone ring he took another drag of his smoke and picked it up. Slipping out into the street so he could hear. "Hello? Oh Hey Jenna"
Hearing her questions he looked about the area and nodded though she wouldn't see it. "Well I think it would be easier face to face. Nothing overtly major." Or so he truly hoped. "Well one thing we can discuss face to face, the other over the phone is fine if you have a minute." And not giving her the time to say yes or no. Well he was nervous that was for sure an odd emotion for the man, nerves. "When did you want to meet up about the grounds for the tigers?"
His eyes looked about and then towards his truck before turning to look at the door of Avery's shop as he listened.
Jenna inched forward in the car. "Nothing major...sounds major." She grinned, not truly concerned. Her tigers often felt anxiety over things that were not nearly as important as they became in their mind. Though she was glad for their concern. It spoke of tigers wanting to make the Horde work, and wanting the blessing of their Khatun in all of it. It made her grin grow wider.
"Ok, we can meet up for the face to face and we can also plan out a time to look over the hunting grounds. How about tonight for this ominous face to face, and tomorrow for the hunting grounds?" She was determined to take a few days away from Paix if only to mentally de stress.
