Against His Better Judgement (Open to Wolves)

The plantation, or so it was called. He wasn't familiar with the area, so he didn't know what to make of it, but he visited based off the address on the card given to him by Llidya. Dressed in his usual animal hide/leather outfit, he approached the swamp area home to the pack of New Orleans.

He had no clue what to expect, and frankly he didn't know why he was putting himself in such a danger to visit the home of someone who could present a threat to him. Quietly, he looked around outside, not sure where to begin. Eventually, his steps carried him to the doorway, where he would knocked. He'd slip the card Llidya gave him back into a pocket, as he stood and waited for a response.

His shields were locked as tight as could be, every last barrier he could muster shut into place. It was an even tighter shutting-off than he had up when he met Llidya. As he stood and waiting for a response, he kept completly still, taking deep breaths and preparing himself for whatever might be on the other side. He doubted it would be a promising or good experience, so of course he prepared for the worst, but he hoped he wouldn't have to resort to defending himself. He was on their doorstep now, there was probably no getting away.

"If you stand there long enough someone that can help you will eventually show up..." The smoky graveled voice never raised from a normal conversational tone, whiskey colored eyes were studying the wolf curiously. The grey wolf remained with his human counterpart, no greeting, no sniffing. This one was not pack, at least not yet. Ash's scent was nowhere on him. He hoped that was why the fellow was here. For his own sake.

He'd traveled the world over, his home was somewhere way north of here, but he liked the south. It was hospitable. Up north you didn't get your Pepsi with a smile and a 'sugar' or 'sweetie' and he kinda liked that when he was sitting down to a meal in a public place. Put him at ease. He noticed the guy was tighter than a stretched drum skin. The tension rolled off him like he was ready to take on an epic battle. Little did he know there would be no battle. There were only two options in this kind of situation.

Thad had dropped by for various reasons, none of which he cared to share with the public at large. He was dressed in a suit, but by looking at him one could tell he spent time in a gym, had a jaw built to take a hit and a fist to deliver a bigger one. He was walking from the side of the house as if he'd come from out back. He raised his chin tugging at the tie, and loosened it, opened the button on his jacket to let it fall open. Damnable Louisiana heat. It was looking like he wasn't going to make it to the office without breaking a sweat until sometime mid December at this rate.

"You might as well relax, nothing is going to happen that you don't make happen by your actions." Personal responsibility was becoming more and more rare in this day and age. Might do everyone good if they just sucked up a good portion of it, instead of blaming everything around them for their shitty lot in life.

As Friday came around, Alex found herself, and Helix back at the plantation house. The weekends were usually all she could manage with Danny being the little jackass he was, and constantly pokeing at her. The beat up old truck pulled to a stop in the drive to find two wolves standing by the door, and had her curiosity pricked. Frowning, she stopped the engine, and slid from the cab, whistling to Helix who bounded out of the bed, and went right away to Thad. Remembering from the other night at the house, and sniffing at his hand. Barking happily, the massive Great Pyreneese raced towards the man untill Alex made a noise in the back of her throat, causing the dog to skid to a stop.

Stopping next to Thaddus, Alex gave a nod to him and brief brush of her cheek to his, before her eye's came to rest on Will. He wasn't pack. But she'd seen him before at the Hookah, the day they'd found Geller was at the hospital. Looking at him curiously, she let her head tilt to the side.

"well now...that's not something you see every day....a rogue on pack land...." thumbs hooking on her pockets, she kept grey blue eye's on his face. Phone was pulled from her pocket, and a text was sent off to Ash and Silent, letting them know what was going on. rogues wer esomething that her Ulfric and Lupa needed to deal with.

Once her phone was slid back into her pockets, she glanced to Thad, and gave a small smile. "Sorry...didn't really get to say anything to you the other day....Helix damn it stop pawing at him...." She sighed and pointed to the ground next to her, causing the large white dog to shuffle over and sit next to her, his tail thumping against the ground. "I'm Alex....the retarded fuzz ball here is Helix..." Glancing at one male to the other, she tilted her head.

"...so who are you guys?"

When Llidya couldn't find Alex at the house or the Hookah, she knew she had to make a trip to the Plantation, as that'd be the only other place the red-head could think she would be.

Her bike pulled up behind the truck, and she leaned off the side, swinging her leg over. She pulled off the helmet, and set it on the back of the bike. From the smell of it she'd gotten here just behind Alex. That trademark Chapman smirk curled her lips as she approached, spotting Thad, Alex and Will. Will! He decided to come by! Holy shit.

"Holy shit, it's Will!" Llidya announced his name like a game show host as she approached, a friendly smile on her lips. She stopped next to Alex, giving her a slap on the back. She nodded to the other man, recognizing him from the other night, but not knowing his name, and held out her hand. "Hiya, name's Chapman, nice to meet ya. Alex, guy I don't know yet, this is Will, he's thinking about joining the pack and looking for his long lost brother. Alex," her attention turned to the blond then. "We need bricks. I can't get bricks on my bike, and Ash wants a biiiiiig cookout, which I'm totally awesome at, but I want to build a brick bar-b-que dealio to do so in. Will, you any good at building stuff, or you guy?" She asked, that smile growing to a grin as she looked from Will to the other man. Her red-tinged timberwolf was out of her shields, moving to frolic around with Alex's animal.

They would also need meat, which they should get when they got the bricks, and that way the steaks could marinate while the construction was going on.
