When you needed a book, sure you could order it on Amazon, or go to Barnes and Noble(for now). But, what if you needed a book not in print anymore, or an ancient text on the fornications of Zeus. (yeah it exists.) or even a book on Magic. You can't head there... That's where James Cooper and his lovely Assistant Alastrina can assist you.
A Real Page turner has a store front. in an old building, of questionable archetecture. but once inside that visage only bleeds away to show the craftsmanship of an english wizard with alot of free time on his hands. it looked like a right library, bookshelves lining all four walls, and even crammed up into the upstairs loft secion at the rear of the store. the staircase was a winding one, that looped back upon itself before making it upstairs.
Scattered about the store, in what looked random to someone uneducated in how magic worked. are thirteen pillars, carved from a dark wood, where stories of epic feats. ranging from beowulf's battle with the dragon, to the twelve boons of hercules. and everything in between.( well ten in between). while they looked randomly spaced. The wizard could stand at any point in the common area of his bookstore and channel up a magical circle. to any number of means that could suit him.
The back wall of the store, bore an exit sign, but no exit. what was at one point an exit was presently another place to house a bookshelf. though many would notice the books there rather drab and of subjects not often exlplored, it was the first level of defense to protect his safe room, which he kept underneath the store.
