Ash had no way of knowing what the vixen was doing this full moon, but as long as they were in the same proximity she would always be welcome to run with him. Dialing the number that he had for Lexie he let her know that the pack was meeting and offered her a place hunting at his side. Promising many fresh kills and perhaps a little frollicking he jested with her before giving her directions and hanging up. If Lexie wasn't already busy perhaps she would join them. If she was busy then he'd have to choose another time to see his favorite fox.
As it happened, Lexie did have plans. Rather, her plan to learn the bayou would not be complete until she'd run this last quadrant. Despite the promises of kills and the friendly banter, she didn't change her mind. Instead she suggested that they meet for coffee soon, perhaps in the next week, and promised to run with him at the next full moon.
