Ashley lead this team of employees from the clerk at the desk to the assistants and several more positions was still opened in case those needing a job wanted to fill them. He's been checking on about three to four corpses all day and night, the autopsies done on a Jane Doe took a long time so he'll get back to her when he's investigated into the cause of death with that one. Police does not know what happened last year to the woman, but her name was unknown. There were others to take care of, he only needed to relax and do his duty the best he could. A clean pair of orange, plastic gloves was on as he dugged around the inside of a victim who had drowned from what was assumed to be an accident. This was no mere accident, from the looks of it this John Doe had been pushed as it was read in the unnamed man's eyes. Apparently, Ashley dug deep by figuring out his background, his family, he received information by an older woman that this guy was Ronald Bafford from Chicago, Illinois who moved here about three years ago cause of the bad reputation he got there. His lungs was the first before other organs as water enters the lungs causing asphixation in the process then wam! Gone like a lightbulb.
It's a good thing this man's fate wasn't expected in either of his dreams as some of the others have. The good part of precognition is knowing the events before it occurs which he feels makes him into a cheat sheet. Did he like to see a person before he met them? He knew their names, their faces, shade of hair, it's length, he kept what he knew to himself only cause it was for the best. The autopsy completed on him, the Jane Doe too. Black cloth moved to cover the man's face before returning him to one of the deep freezers. Ashley knew what he was doing, been doing this for too long. Now for the victims at the lake. The lake was what he captured in his previous dreams, the part where he saw four aliens, in dark blue suits, laser guns in their hands as if it was authentic. Then he found himself standing in the center watching how the green light targeted a man and a woman.
This was them, he has not gotten around to focus on them until now he was already upon it. He first began with the woman, he gasped then found most of all her organs gone like that as if whoever did this made sure the autopsies couldn't be done so easily. The other man was identical to his girlfriend except he was done differently from the woman. Some type of acid was shot at the girl directly in the center of her torso then she died slowly, very slowly, and from the look in her eyes from using a penlight he found that she was in pain, screaming. Part of him wanted to stop, wanted to kill the fucks who did this to her but he did not dare for he wasn't evil and could not do wicked deeds. Sucks being a weaver half of the time. A bit of saliva was swallowed as he started on the guy, the man was struck just a bit to the right of his upper abdomen where he was certain when he tried to check for any signs of organs, most was gone! Eyes was the same as the girl.
Death for anyone was never pleasant, death could be clean or it could be nasty, so nasty, that there is a reason to feel what they were feeling as if he was there. For a minute he was due to his abilities, but the Coroner was far stronger to let such emotions hit him like a thousand bricks.. "Them bastards!"He cursed under his breath, rasping. A tall vampire in a white dress stood to the right side of the entrance watching him while expecting his talents and gift to connect with the dead in ways none could. The vampiress's eyes was pale gray, she wasn't too old, died recently and the minute this man took her in she started to love it here with him. Ashley just stared at the horrified couples, not knowing one of the vampires he cared for was standing there. He canted his head to the side smiling up at her. "I'm okay Wilma."She nodded, glad to know he was before exiting to head back to where she usually occupies. It'll take a long time before he got all the information. For now he knew who to call, leaving the truth of his speciality and the fact what he seen in it would consider him as delusional. He headed over to one of the counters where all his testing equipment rested. Dialing the number to the Police Station asking for a specific woman.
