Reaching out to the Gellar Household (Open to those living there)

(( This post is partially continued from here http://wickedlabyrinth.activeboard.com/t43619003/hurried-departure/ ))

It was clear to him now that these police were going to be happy dragging their feet. The fact that he had lost his phone for a while which was long enough for them to jam a bug in it, and that every landline in the house probablly had one two. It didn't matter much to Vincent he had a world full of alibies if they tried to turn it around on him. The dissappearance of evidance on his phone was unsettling as well since he never intended on giving up the images even if they were that disgusting it was the last shred of hope that he had that she was still alive. The most vivid memories he was left with now were the sounds in the parking garage that still echoed in his mind. McDoyle's hesitance to step right into phone tracking also rubbed Vincent the wrong way as he was starting to think he should hire someone who might give two shits instead of just spitting out scripted lines. Of course this hostility maybe warrented when your finace had been treated like Venus, and it was only natural that he wanted her back NOW, but he doubted the fucksticks at the police department cared.

When he stepped into the appartment Vincent was numbed by the images of the basically ransacked appartment with every drawer left open, and every bit of furniture shifted enough that it was clear the men who checked it really had no respect for others. Growling under his breath Vincent carried his carry-on back to the large bedroom with the kingsized bed the two shared when he would make his weekend trips up here everyother weekend. Vincent wanted a shower, a bed, and a meal. The order didn't matter too much, but he knew that he couldn't see to his own needs before he finished something that had to be done. Kicking off the black leather shoes Vincent collapsed back on the large bed. The disheavled sheets and comfortor still smelled like Venus, and he couldn't help but to grab one of her pillows and draw it close to his side wrapping a thick toned arm around the down pillow that was bathed in her scent. The good sized pillow squeezed nearly flat against his broad toned chest in the blue button down. Vincent's free hand was manipluating the blackberry to the point where he found the number to her family's home.

For a few moments he allowed the main household line of the phone to ring. Vincent stretched out on the bed that had been rummaged through like a clearance rack at walmart. Left hand holding the pillow close to his side while his right was holding the blackberry hoping for someone, anyone to pick up.

+ Geller had gotten Jessie's permission for a night out, a night free of his nurse, and he had enjoyed it to the utmost.  When the phone rang it was late (after all New Orleans was in a different time zone) and he and Jenna had gotten home just shortly before luckily.  The phone ringing worried him because of the late hour and he picked it up after the first two rings. +

"Hello.  This is Geller."

+The voice on the other end of the line sounded desperate and at first Geller had no idea who it was.  Then with the name given bits of information all fell into place inside his head.  Vincent, Venus's fiancee.  The two of them had never actually met though Geller would have known the mans scent from his time inside the house.+

"What's going on Vincent?"

+Certainly the man hadn't called just to chat.  Not at this hour and not with that desperate edge to his voice.  Geller's concern peaked when he heard Venus's name mentioned and the fact that she was missing? hurt? kidnapped? Geller kept listening in shock as Vincent filled him in. His own worry rose and he could understand why Vincent was so upset.  After all, he and Venus were in love.  Soul-mates.  They had found one another after years apart and Geller could only imagine how hard it was for the man to feel like he might have lost her again.+

"You're still in New York right? Just stay put. I'll get there as soon as I can.  Just....give me twenty-four hours.  In the meantime I'll make some calls, put out feelers in the area."

+New York City was Geller's back yard.  He knew the place like the back of his hand.  Calls could be placed and he had people that could lay the ground work of a search.  In the meantime he had to figure out a way to get out of New Orleans without his doctor, his nurse, and his family up in arms about him leaving so soon after his accident.  But Venus was in trouble, and he had to go.  There was no question about that.+

"Give me your address.  We'll meet at your place."

+Geller gave Vincent his cell phone number and told him to call anytime.  Then he had to start making arrangements.  It was going to be another long twenty four hours.+
