Hospital hospital hospital... she had to focus on Ash's orders, not on the heady scent of blood in the car, not on the terror and rage that filled her at having to leave Ash behind, dealing with the fury of two ancient vampires. She manhandled the Hummer through the streets like it was another of her bikes, thankfully she managed to avoid all cops on the way. She skidded the Hummer to a half outside of the entrace, spilling out of the drivers seat with the big ol' truck still rocking from its mad dash across town. She wrenched the rear door open, staring at the now blood covered white wolf. "Trent..." shit... "stay here until you shift... I guess.... hell." It was a shifter clinic, but she didn't know if they'd appreciate the white wolf walking through the doors. She reached inside and managed to get Zoe in her arms, focusing past the sticky sweetness of blood that was just so damn appealing.
Once she had Zoe secure in her grip she raced into the clinic, a petite form cradling another woman in her arms, all wild redhair and blood. "Help! I need help.... please." She had to get back to Ash... to make sure he was ok. Dammit he said get Zoe here and keep her here. "She's been bitten.... a vampire."
Nurses raced to her side, brining over a gurney for her to rest Zoe in. Calls for blood and they were milling around, pushing her out of the way as they began to treat the latest patient. Lou was shaking from trying to keep it all together now. She scented the others here, caught the scent of the swamp wolf but didn't see them, didn't know where to go now. She managed to stop one of the nurses, "please... I need... somewhere to wash up.... please." She had to get the blood off her hands... now. The nurse gestured to a rest room before rushing on her way to help Zoe.
She made her wasy to the bathroom, locking herself inside before plunging her hands beneath the rush of water in the faucet, scrubbing away the blood. She did what she was supposed to. She did what he said. She followed his orders and now....she sagged, sinking to the floor of the bathroom, trembling. He had to be ok.
-The large white wolf that was Trent Osbourne lifted his head as Lou opened the back door. Trying to use his body to cradle and lift Zoe as Lou was getting her out of the car. He gave a small yip, understanding that he was to stay put. Hopefully Lou would let Jessie or Silent know that he was out in the car so they could make some kind of arrangement for him. Trent could shift back but he'd be passed out afterwards for eight hours and he would prefer to be passed out in a bed rather than the back seat of the car, but sometimes life wasn't about your preferences.-
-Left alone he licked the blood from his fur and then let the slow torturous strain of the shift take him from wolf to human form. It wasn't like when Ash had slowly turned him into a wolf, this time the bones breaking and goo spraying and skin shifting was painful and strained. At the end of it Trent lay naked and alone in the back seat passed out as if from a night on a bender. He just hoped someone would come get him, clean him off, and put him in bed with the other wolves.-

When Ash arrived at the hospital again his wounds were healing nicely, though he was already suspicious about why the vampires hadn't put up more of a fight. Creatures that powerful and that old did not usually choose to flee, even when faced with Vengence. Still, with so many other issues still on the table Ash filed that away as a fact to think about later. His mind was a categorically ordered system that kept track of things in neat little subsections. The unit that had driven him was sent back to the station as he climbed out of the back and headed towards the hospital.
Distracted by the scents of lukoi coming from the parking lot he stopped and turned to scan the lot with his lightning kissed blue eyes. Changing his course he moved towards the spot close to the front where Lou had parked Llidya's Hummer. The doors were unlocked and he pulled one open to find Trent lying in the mess of his own shift. Inwardly he sighed at the scratches on the seats, the blood, and the mess and knew that he would be getting an earful from Llidya later. Then he carefully cradled Trent's small body in his arms to carry the sleeping man inside.
The inside of the hospital was still buzzing but the waiting room was practically empty. Before he could be assaulted by nurses thinking Trent was another victim of the night he went straight to Geller's room and found that the wolves were sleeping there and that Geller was apparently gone. Ash could smell him somewhere in the vicinity so he assumed that the man was either doing something with the doctors or taking care of some business of his own.
Nudging Silent with his hip to wake her he lowered Trent into the bed between Maya and Dee in the space that Geller had vacated. Keeping his voice low he told the wolves what had been going on. "Just rest. Geller is here attending to something I'm sure and we've found Zoe and brought her in. Trent will be out for awhile and I'm sure Lou will be joining you in here soon. I need to clean off, check with the police, and look in on Zoe. Then I'll be back."
Yes. He had to clean off. Leaving Trent in the care of the other wolves Ash patted Silent on the shoulder with that promise to return shortly after tending to business and then he went in search of a hospital room that was empty and had a shower he could get into without interfereing with the comings and goings of doctors, nurses, and patients. He would have preferred to clean up at home, but there was still too much going on and there was no time for it. Closing the door to the room he had chosen Ash went to work on himself, making himself look a little less like someone who had just shot up a couple of Master Vampires.

-Maya had been in a London cab, on 2 planes, on a motorcycle, crossed an ocean, and once she crawled in bed with her back pressed up against Geller she passed out without a thought. The sound of Dee Dee talking or Geller getting out of bed was completely missed by Maya unless it affected her dreams somehow but she had no idea. Even when Ash came in she only barely started to come awake as Trents body was placed between herself and Dee.-
-Had she not woken up a bit she would have just thought that it was Geller getting back into bed. The little wolfs eyes were still mostly closed until she heard her best friends name. Maya kicked and screamed and beat back sleep to sit up just a bit in the bed after Ash left. Her sleepy eyes looked at Silent and the Dee, back and forth as she tried to wake up enough to think.-
"Zoe? What....what's happened to Zoe?"
-Maya was already trying to climb out of the bed as her brain picked up speed but Silent or Dee or someone put a hand on her to stop her. They were telling her to go back to sleep, that the doctors were taking care of Zoe and she couldn't do anything. Still, the only way that Maya let it go was for someone to swear to her that as soon as Zoe could have visitors they would wake her up. After extracting that promise from her Maya flopped back onto the bed, pulled Trent's arm around her, and fell back asleep for a few more hours.-
Silent had nothing but respect for Geller and thought of him as an equal not a subordinate but with the stress going on that night and all the uncertainty (not to mention past issues about Llidya) she had let it all get to her. She apologized to Geller before Jessie shooed her out of the room and planned to have a talk with him about it later when they would really have time to get into it. Being Ulfric didn't mean she was perfect....butshe was learning what the wolves needed and how to provide it. When Jessie called her back into the room she and the wolves and Nike went....Dee and Maya in the bed...Nike, Alex, and Sil in chairs. Gellers words to her had the swamp wolf returning the thanks with a sleepy smile and then she just let her energy hum with the others to add to the comfort and peace finally settling. She too joined them in sleep and didn't wake up until Ash was putting a hand on her shoulder. Looking up at him she nodded to what he said and then let her eyes fall on Trent now in the bed. She was glad to know that Zoe was there and receiving help. Ash promised to be back and Silent pushed up to a straighter seated position to lean forward and talk Maya into going back to sleep. "The doctors are with Zoe now but I swear when she's ready for visitors Dee or Jessie or I will wake you up." The blonde wolf fell back to sleep and Silent let her eyes wander around the room at the wolfs who were there...also thinking about those left at the Hookah. When Ash finally did come back she would be awake and ready to hear about what had happened....not really sure that the night could get stranger than it already had.
The bathroom was quiet except for the rush of water in the small shower. He had it turned up as high as it would go and still the water was barely tepid as it soaked his pale skin and washed the blood down the drain in a pinkish slosh. Ash rubbed generic shampoo from the dispenser on the wall into his chin length black hair and then rinsed that as well, repeating the process until the water from his hair ran clear. Every inch of his body was soaped and scrubbed, making sure that no trace of the violence remained. It was through no squeamishness on his part that he did it, but more because he expected to be around young lycans soon and police not long after that. Neither category of people was well equipped to accept someone with blood crusted on his body.
All in all the process took very little time. Ash had a lot of practice ridding himself of the signs of a kill. Turning the water off he stepped out of the shower and grabbed a towel that was folded on one of the shelves that was folded down from the wall. He rubbed it hastily against his head, drying his slick black hair and then rubbing the towel down his body, bending to get both legs and even his feet in the process. He was fastidious, dry in a minute, and ready to put on the clothes that he'd asked one of the nurses to provide him.
Scrubs, dark blue scrubs. Ash wasn't sure he'd ever worn a pair of scrubs in his life, not to mention that he had no idea when the last time was that he'd worn a color other than black. But sometimes in a night of miracles and catastrophes the strangest things could occur. Putting his legs into the scrub bottoms he pulled them up, sliding the fabric up his legs and then tying them off in a knot around the muscled lower region of his abdomen. They hung loose on him, the V-cut of his hips peeking out over the top for only a moment as he raised his arms and slid the scrub top over his head to fall into place. For a moment as he saw himself in the steam distorted glass he saw what he would have looked like as a doctor. A different kind of man than he was today.
Then the steam was evaporating and he saw the scar tissue that marred his skin, the black tattoos, and the hell light shining in his blue eyes. He would never be a different kind of man, and he had accepted that long ago. His shoulder holster was strapped on again, the badge fixed onto its clip, and then he wrapped the wrist sheaths in the towel. They were soaked in blood and would need to be cleaned properly later. For now he would send them back to the swamps to wait for him. There were plenty of weapons in the car.
Carrying the rolled up towel under one arm he left the bathroom and went in search of the wolves again and came across one of them in the hallway. Ash let his path converge with Lou's, noting the look of relief on her face when she saw him. He kept forgetting that people here didn't know him as well as the old pack did. People who'd been in Ash's pack had long ago stopped bothering to get worried when he went on assignment, they just got used to him coming back. Holding out the towel towards Lou he let her take it as they walked towards the room where the wolves were.
"Those need cleaning, sharpening, and the sheaths could use some mending as well. You said you were good with weapons so I thought it might take your mind off of things."
Ash spoke in that low accented voice, a simple statement that was meant to be noninvasive. If she would rather not then she could just tell him, but she didn't. Letting Lou go ahead of him into the room where Silent and the wolves waited he stopped just outside the door to pull the phone from his pocket and leave a message for Llidya.
"Chapman, it's Ash. We've found Zoe, she's at the hospital now being tended to. Call me back when you get done at the scene. I'll come and meet you."
They would have to check some things out, not to mention going to the station for the necessary rounds of filing reports. The phone was slid into one of the pockets in his scrubs and he was happy the waist tie held or he'd be shocking a few patients out of their stupors. Walking down the hall a little ways he found a nurse coming out of the OR where Zoe had been sent. Flashing the badge on his shoulder clip he stopped her and pulled her aside.
"How's the patient?"
The discussion was brief. She gave him the facts, told him the doctor on duty would be sending Zoe to the room with her cousin soon since it was double occupancy. There were no signs in her blood patterning of a possible change, but Zoe would be on watch for the next few days just in case. Taking in the information he nodded and let the nurse go. At least Zoe was alive and would stay that way. Turning back towards Gellers room he went inside this time and over to the seat that Alex occupied. Letting the back of his hand knock against her knee he motioned for her to get up, then took residence in the seat himself and let her curl into his lap.
Hooking the leg of the seat with a foot he scooted them closer to Silent's chair and the bed where the other three wolves slept. Lightning kissed eyes took in the scene again and he nodded a greeting to Nike as a hand softly stroked Alex's back. Alex had been through a soul shattering experience of her own and then all of this had happened so quickly that Ash was afraid she would feel forgotten in the tumult of other concerns. He was trying not to let that happen. Keeping his voice quiet he spoke conspiritorially with Silent as the others slept.
"Silent, maybe it would be a good idea for you and Alex and Lou to head back to the Hookah. There are wolves there to check on and Alex could use sleep in a real bed. Geller's better and they're sending him home soon. When the paperwork and Zoe are ready I'm sure Dee Dee can take them all back to Geller's house in her car." Ash wasn't trying to order Silent or tell her what to do, just making suggestions. "I'll be here with them until Zoe gets out of surgery or until Llidya and the police give me a call back, and when I finish with the cops I can come by the Hookah to pick up Alex and Laney and take them back to the swamps....if they want. And maybe we can have some breakfast while I'm there...I know I owe you a nice long talk."
All that was true, but mainly he wanted to see Alex (and also Lou who looked troubled) home safely and in a real bed. Also he knew Silent had things to take care of with new wolves in the pack and sitting here doing nothing was only making her jumpy. Reaching towards her he placed the backs of his tattooed fingers against her cheek and brushed her skin softly.
"Go home to the pack Silent. You've done a good job tonight. It'll all work out just fine."
Poor Geller. He couldn't even get one minute of sleep without someone needing to talk to him. In fact, it wasn't just Geller that couldn't get any sleep, it was all the wolves tonight. She grumbled and cursed silently to herself when Geller got out of the bed. Just when she thought that Geller would come back into bed to sleep with his girls, Ash walked in carrying Trent, updating them on Zoe, and planted Trent between herself and Maya. Poor thing was covered in wolf goo; Dee could instantly smell his change and blood before Ash walked in the room with him.
Reaching her arm across Trent's body, Dee gently stroked Maya's arm, reassuring her that everything will be alright and to go back to sleep while Silent was reassuring her as well. A loud, lingering yawn sung from Dee's lips as she threw her leg over both of Trent's legs, and wrapped his petite form into her own soft, comfortable body. Not to mention, Trent had extra pillows this evening when her breasts swelled between his neck. Again, she allowed her timber wolf's power seep from her core, enveloping Trent's snow white beast like a warm, comforting fire that could heat up even the coldest of winters.
She closed her eyes, and although she was completely dead tired, thoughts were racing through her mind. First Geller, then Zoe, and now she wondered if Venus was missing. Surely, Venus would have responded to her mass text message when she sent it out, but she didn't, and that made Dee wonder if Venus was missing as well in New York. Dee sent a silent prayer to whomever was the Wolf God about Venus, hoping and praying that she was alright since missing in action seemed to be a reoccuring situation. Finally, sleep conquered her body.
Silent knew the difference between when Ash was giving orders and when he was offering sugegstions...and he was right on this one. She did have the wolf back at the Hookah who she could only remember as Mutt to meet with and there was still the matter of Zach out there somewhere. Plus it looked like things at the hospital were calming....she took a moment to lean into his hand as she nodded at the suggestion. Poor Dee truly couldn't get a moments peace...as Silent stood she leaned over the bed to give Dee's arm a squeeze and when the she-wolfs eyes opened silent spoke to her. "I'm taking Alex and Lou back to the Hookah to wait with the others since things are good here. Can you take Geller, Zoe, Trent, and Maya home with you when everyone gets the okay to leave?" Thank God Dee had brought them in a big car. After she agreed Silent looked at Lou. "I'm gonna call us a cab. When you and Alex are ready come meet me out front." Offering a last comforting pulse of her energy she left the room and planned to hold Ash to his promise to sit down to breakfast with her at the Hookah for a long talk after he finished with the police.
Out of the room she pulled out her phone and called a cab. She was going to call ahead and tell Nyx that she was coming but she just didn't have the energy. It would be a surprise. Outside the hospital she found a bench to sit on and wait for the cab and the girls. It would be good to go home and even better to take care of the new wolves on her list. This had been a very long night. Once the girls came out they would all climb into the cab and head for the Hookah.
Alex had fallen into a fitful sleep, body twitching, and expression contorting under the veil of her hair. Nightmares plauging her sleep, she curled into an even tighter ball. Immages of Xavier filled her brain. of the last few weeks. OF his mocking twanging voice. Of his last moments, and his half eaten body. So it wasn't any wonder that when the back of Ashes hand bumped her knee, she woke with a start, and bit back a scream, that came out as a soft wimper.
Hair in her eye's, she stared up at him blankly for a minute, disoriented and confused. Not exactly sure where she was, or why Ash was standing over her. Then looking around after he made his gesture for her to get up, she did so slowly, and blinked as he took the chair himself and pulled her down into his lap. Curling up against his chest, one arm slid up to hook around his neck, as her head rested on his shoulder, face nestled into the crook of his neck, and breathing in his scent, and the feel of his beast, and power, along with the rest of the wolves in the room, who she was comming to realize were pack, she started to drift off again.
The deep rumble of his voice was soothing and lulled her, eye's half closed as she listened, in that half awake, half asleep state. Hearing something about going back to the hookah....that'd be ok...Helix was at the Hookah with Nyx...hopefully he hadn't destroyed anything yet...So much shit had happend in so short a period of time, that it was all starting to blur together, like the nightmare. Things needed to stop...to calm down...and not be so crazy for awhile...Or she was gonna go crazy.....ok more crazy...
Ash saying he would come to get her and Laney and take them back to the swamp had her head comming up slowly to blink grey blue eyes at him, as she fought to focus on his face from so close. "don't gotta stay in the swamp anymore if we don't want....Gonna fix the house...make it nice again...." It was hers again after all. No reason not to use it. and there was plenty of room in it for her and Laney and Ash and one or two others should they want to stay there. Just needed some renovation and work. Hell, Ash knew. He'd seen it.
Laying her head back on his shoulder again, she let out a yawn, and murmmered, "you get to buy the new front door though...." a little smile on her lips. He had been the one to kick it in the first time after all. Soon though, Alex's breathing became deep and even. She was out for the count once more. Though no dreams this time. As if just that physical contact was enough to keep them at bay.
Lou wasn't sure how long she stayed in the bathroom, struggling past the whirlwind of panic and fury. It took a while to calm herself again, to regain her feet. Another long moment taken to be sure she'd scrubbed away all of Zoe's blood before she exited the bathroom. Her head canted slightly when she opened the door, nose wrinkling as she tasted the scents in their air, the acrid cleansers that the hospital used and medicines, the various wolves, and.... Ash. She twisted, searching for that scent when he stepped from another room and it was all she could do to stay on her feet as a wave of relief weakened her.
It didn't matter to her how skilled Ash was, or how many battles he'd walked away from, there was always someone better, always someone that could get lucky. Her head tilted slightly as he offered the wrapped towel her way, accepting it without hesistation. She could feel the blades and sheaths within the bundled towel, nodding in response to his words. "Yeah... I... I'll take care of them." She was already cataloguing in her mind what would be available here in the hospital to allow her to start cleaning the blades. She really should get them to her shop, ten minutes on the buffing wheels and the blades would be clean and would have a microscopic edge, sharper then a razor. "I'll see what I can do to make something that work better for you too. The leather is soft and well fitted but it tears too easily, I can put togehter something just as comfrotable but sturdier.. made just for you." Talking about this... focusing on it... did more to calm her then anything else. It was something she understood, something she could control.
She slipped into Geller's room, moving to the far corner of the room since beds and chairs were all full. That was ok though, she was content to slip onto the floor, pausing only to grab a towel from the bathroom. She unwrapped the bundle of blades and started the most basic of cleaning, careful with the silver blades, hissing softly to herself when her skin brushed the metal now and then. She focused on her work, examining the sheaths after the worst of the blood was cleaned away. Her lips pursed, patting at her pockets in search of pencil and notebook, she always had both with her. Notations were made on a page, quickly sketching out a design, letting herself become immersed in her work until Silent's words drew her attention.
She gathered up the blades and sheaths, carefully wrapping them in the towel and putting her notebook away and rose to her feet. A brief shy smile sent Ash's way, "It might be a day or two. Only because I need to get them to my shop to really fix them up right." She waited for Alex to join her before heading outside to meet Silent.

+He had agreed to call her as they walked out into the hallway and towards his room. Truthfully he wasn't with it enough to see the insecurity and vulnerability wash over her. So it wasn't that which made him act. As she turned to go he put a smooth soft hand on her shoulder, his callouses lost with the healing of his new skin. It was as though his human life had disappeared all in the flash of that bomb. Pulling her in he hugged her, because even though they weren't "a couple" as she had pointed out, and even though she was with other people, and even though part of him had no idea what his mind would make of all this once he was fully awake and well; even with all that he just wanted a hug goodbye. Well muscled arms from decades of back breaking labor squeezed her with less than his usual amount of finesse and then he let her go. As she went towards the parking lot he turned to go towards his room. On the way though a nurse stopped him to tell him about his cousin. If he wasn't tired before he sure was now.+
"Can you bring her into my room when she's finished?"
+His room was set up as a double though there was only one bed in there at the minute. He wanted to see Zoe as soon as she got out of the OR. Getting an agreement from the nurse he went back into his room to try to get some sleep. What he found instead though was a penis balloon from Milo on the dresser, Trent in his spot on the bed, and that the rest of the pack besides those who lived with him (and Ash) had gone home. Sinking into the chair beside Ash he looked at the three wolves sleeping in his bed and didn't have the heart to wake them again.+
"Hell of a night man."
+Leaning back in his chair he lifted his legs and balanced his feet on the edge of the bed. With a sigh he tightened the sash of his robe and let his head rest against the back of the chair. After a moment he turned his head to the side to look at Ash and asked about Zoe, since he'd been getting skinned alive while all that was going on.+
The young french girl was sometimes in, but mostly out of consciousness for much of the process of her rescue and getting to the hospital. The amount of blood she'd lost not only from the feeding but from the amount of time she'd laid on the floor and then even after Crius tried to heal the wound at her neck the ride to the hospital, was considerable. She vaguely remembered gunfire, or perhaps it had been thunder? It was a weird sensation, not being able to recognize sounds in her weakened state.
She vaguely remembered rocking motions of a vehicle and then it was glaring lights and screaming alarms from whatever monitors she'd been attached to. Her neck, mostly due to Crius's help was easily mended the rest of the way by careful surgeons, leaving behind bloody bandages that would reveal what would likely be hideous scarring of the neck and shoulder. It was the sheer amount of blood loss and the need to find a suitable blood type match for Zoe that kept doctors and nurses on edge. The supply of rare blood types were pretty low, and in a lycan hospital, they had to be very careful not to give the fragile human blood that would make her shift on the next full moon.
All in all, she came out of surgery no worse for the wear, with a couple of cracked ribs, a fractured collarbone, stitches in the back of her head from where it had met the cold marble floor, the bandages at her neck and throat and well, an eye-popping amount of blood loss. Even with transfusions, she was looking sickly pale under the garish hospital lights as she was wheeled into her cousin's hospital room, still fully under the effects of anesthetics and hooked to quite a few iv's and monitors.
Waking up from that was like trying to swim through jelly. Her eyes felt heavy and thick, while her brain felt fuzzy. She would have thought she was floating, except, even with all the drugs running through her system, her body ached. Searing pain actually brought her fully awake with a startled cry. It was cut off with a gasp as she tried to sit up only to have the motion make her feel like she was taffy being pulled. A rapid string of french curses ensued as she flopped like a fish out of water back against the pillows.
Closing her eyes and taking a few deep breaths, thick lashes fluttered open and she observed her surroundings with a frown. She could tell from everything attached to her and beeping that she was in a hospital, but how the hell did she get there? The last thing she remembered was going to the mansion and seeing the deadly insane look in Crixus's eyes. Even now the thought had a shiver running down her spine. Not wanting to chance moving her whole body again, she started small, tuning her head.
Her eyes fell on the bed that was set up next to hers, holding Dee Dee, Maya and Trent, and a slender brow lifted up. The slightest hint of a smile tugged at her lips as she saw the three sleeping and wondered briefly where Venus was. Then her gaze swept over the chairs. She noticed Nike first, and the vampire eyed her long enough to give her a wink before leaving to get to a secure place before dawn. Next she saw Silent, and had to wrack her brain to think back if she had ever met the woman. Then there was Ash, sitting there with a gaze that was likely to chill just about anyone. "Who the fuck are you?" The words slipped out quietly, her voice raspy and hoarse from screaming.
However, her question was ignored for just a minute when her eyes fell on Geller, and she blinked, the frown returning to her lips as she tried to give him a haughty look, that ended up being more of a wounded and in pain look. "Where the hell have you been???"
+It was hours later when Zoe's words made Geller look towards the bed and finally he felt a weight lift from his shoulders. If Zoe was well enough to sit up and cuss then she would live.+ "He's the one who just saved your life little cousin. Be more grateful." +Ash seemed lost in his own world and the business of the police calling on the phone. Geller just nodded when he said that he had to go.+
"Where the hell have you been???"
"Funny story that." +Geller grimaced as he got up from the chair and moved towards her bedside. One of his hands laid on top of hers being very careful not to disturb the IV there. He didn't even begin to know how to get into answering that question. After all, he didn't even know where the hell he'd been. Not yet. Silence was there for a moment and then he spoke with a crack in his voice that was almost a sob+ "You scared the shit out of me Zoe....the ever loving shit."
+When she had showed up on his doorstep in London, having recently run away from her parents (his Aunt and Uncle), he had taken her in with open arms. Now he wondered if all of this was his fault. If not for him Zoe wouldn't be involved with shifters and vampires and all these paranormal plagues. Normally Geller saw his world as a beautiful place, but seeing Zoe in that bed made him feel differently and he couldn't help but blame himself. He could have watched her closer, or forced her to go do normal things like attend college or work. Hell, anything but hanging out with psychotic vampire twins.+
"You know you're grounded right?" +And his voice said that he was absolutely not kidding.+ "Seriously, grounded. First of all, the hospital isn't letting you leave for three days. They want to monitor you just in case, and when you get home.....g-r-o-u-n-d-e-d. And you're not too big to take over my knee I swear to god." +Joking but serious and then his expression blanked and she could see the deep well of emotion in his eyes.+ "I love you kid."
+Soon the doctor came in and shooed Geller away saying Zoe needed her rest now. He backed up slowly and looked at the others already asleep.+ "I'll come back to visit you tomorrow Zoe and Maya I am sure will be back in here with you as soon as they let her."+As he tried to turn and get ready to go home he just couldn't do it, paperwork or not.+
+Waiting for the doctor to leave he shut the door and went to crawl into bed with his cousin. Arms held her and let her curl up with him (in a very platonic way perverts). After that look on her face he couldn't let her spend the night in the hospital alone. Geller would let the others sleep and lay there most of the night just stroking Zoe's back. The next day he finally let Dee take him and the others home.+ "I'll come back cuz. I'll bring you goodies to pass the time."
Dee was in a deep, tranquil sleep while she cuddled with both Trent and Maya in the bed. She was so deep in a sleep in fact, that when Silent gently touched her arm to tell her to bring Maya, Trent, Zoe and Geller back home, she shot up so fast, so suddenly, jerking her body upwards to a sitting position, pretending she was holding a shot gun in her arms. "GET EM!" She yelled, and then noticed immediately that she was in the hospital, and it was only Silent that touched her arm, not a stray bullet that grazed her arm while she was at war...in her dream.
She saw that Silent jumped back a little at Dee's sudden dream attack, and quirked her slender brow. "Oh shit!....Sorry Silent. Yeah, no problem, I'll take them all home." At that same time, Geller walked back into the room and settled into one of the chairs. And then she heard Zoe come into the room speaking with Geller. She was too damn tired to talk, too damn tired to listen in on their conversations, so she cuddled up Maya and Trent again, and fell back asleep.
The next day, still groggy around the edges, she gathered up Maya, Trent, and Geller into her Hummer, and headed back home. The doctor said Zoe needed to stay a few more days for observation, and Dee would gladly come visit her in the hospital until the doctor said it was okay for her to head back home.
