Demon Foxes (Open to Valen and others that access PAIX third floor)

The search would continue, but Jenna would be doing it alone. She did not need a hero, a champion to watch over her and Kaikou knew it. In many ways he was more experienced and he contained a great amount of skill. But Jenna was a tiger, it was in her core to be a beast of power, of great nobility and of raw carnage when the need arose. She was not a flake, nor was she a child. She was a woman and Kaikou would give his tiger the space she needed to complete what had to be done.

The elevator to PAIX opened to the short asian, his emerald green eyes looking down at the blade still wrapped in the silk dressings, the top tied off with a simple pull string. At the door his cousin stood, the far taller asian woman expecting her elder since he stepped through the doors of the PAIX building. Junko Oita, she would no doubt be the next kitsune to claim the title of Daimyo and lead the Oita clan in to its future. Blessed with Asian and American blood, she was a great asset to the clan. Kaikou spoke first, with a soft tone. His words mixed in to that Kitsune-Go language, a jumbling of what could only be described as every asian language, chopped up, mangled and garbled together to create a language too complex for most to be able to listen in on. "Enjoying living in a pleasure spa? You should go see the lion down stairs, he's quite amusing my cousin."

Junko was cold, she was not like most other kitsune, not since the events of fourty years ago. Her sapphire eyes watched her elder with a respectful look, her guard was let down only because she was in the presence of what is still the most elder Oita kitsune alive. "I did not, my lord. I have been up here, enjoying the surroundings of you and your love." Kaikou was walking along, making a slow bee line for his shrine, his personal haven surrounded by all the modern world. Guarded behind layers of silk drapes, the area was Kaikou's own. Fitted in to the corner of the room, rice mats, weapon racks, several pieces of his own personal art and of course the shrine to Prince Inari. Kaikou removed shoes and was the first in the shrine, bowing before the stone shrine sitting on its pedestal.

Junko intoned behind her cousin, watching him in his prayer. "The world is different Kaikou, you cannot hide behind the past anymore. Bushido is dead.." It was a cold, but hard truth. "Just as the ideals of medieval knights came to a bloody end at the fields of Agincourt, so too does the noble ideas of Bushido. You know it has, you witnessed the blade that went through its heart. The Ashikaga.." Kaikou was frowning quite deeply at his cousins words, Junko never sugar coated anything. The fox exhaled softly as he stripped from his clothing. When the change took him, it was not like a lycans. Kitsune were like them in a few ways, but they were not truely mortals, they were beyond this world, but very much apart of it. Shadow and darkness veiled part of the change, taking man to demon fox. Still on his knees and in that half and half form, the kitsune bowed again to Inari. His words were not hindered by the form, that silver tongue conveying the same emotion and tone as before. "I know, my dear cousin. It is hard to adapt. I did something quite foolish, I let my arrogance get the better of me and I put many people in danger.."

The woman sighed as she looked downward, stepping around to stand behind the fox, mindful of his large tail. Her hands began to run against the sides of his face, Kaikou's eyes lidding slowly as she massaged him. "That is why you asked for me, my great lord. I shall help you." Kaikou nodded his head slowly, but the foxes eyes began to narrow slightly. "I did not just call you here for my own benefit, my beloved cousin. If you are to someday replace Shinju, you will have to resolve your own past." The mood from Junko quickly dropped to apprehension. "My mind is my own, it does not affect my judgement."

Kaikou was frowning deeply in that form, he slowly began to cross his arms over his chest. "I think differently, I put it off, hoping you would resolve your issues on your own. But I can not in good mind ignore it anymore, you are my family and you 'will' be our Clan Lord some day. It is your birthright to lead the Oita, long after my spirit goes to serve in Inari's Palace, as his eternal retainer. You will not leave this land until I can see you smile, with happiness and love again. I have arranged for you to sleep in a nice suite hotel, not far from here. We both will resolve our issues, together or will both be damned to the Yumi realms."

Junko was glaring downward at the back of Kaikou's head, he was finally butting in to her business and she was not pleased. But her feelings on the subject did not matter, it was behind the needs of the clan Kaikou would jar her until he deemed her fixed. She did not feel she needed to be fixed. Regardless, her soft voice spoke as she began kneeling down behind her elder cousin. "As you wish, my lord."
