Being gone for a month away from New Orleans really made Dee miss home, and all the people in it. Did she just consider New Orleans home now? Yep, sure did. She missed Geller, Venus, Maya, Zoe, Nike and Sirus. Especially Sirus. She felt bad for not telling anyone that she had to disappear for a month, but when duty calls, it calls. No, she wasn't back in the military. She went up north to Wyoming because they had the biggest gun show in the country. She didn't plan on staying there as long as she did, but she just had to try out every single gun at a shooting range. She also took horseback riding lessons, fishing lessons, and because it was still cold and snowing in Wyoming, she took snowboarding and skiing lessons as well. The ski lodge she stayed at was picture perfect; ten-story log hotel settled within the mountains, and inside the lodge was a huge water park, shops, restaurants, and clubs. Outside the hotel were steaming hot baths made from the earth, attractions for skiiers and snowboarders, a very huge lake for fishers, and all surrounded by the tallest trees she has ever seen in her life. This vacation was much needed, and it was well spent.

She arrived at home to an empty house. Nike was "sleeping" no less, but everyone else were galavanting the city, or working. She dropped her bags off in her room to find a present from Geller. A sexy black little number and a post-it note that read "Girl, you'll be a woman soon." She couldn't help but smile. Actually, it was more than just a smile. Tears started to stream down her cheeks full of happiness. Happy that she was back, and happy that Geller is slowly starting to accept her 'womanly' change. His opinion mattered the most because he was her best friend in the entire world. And for him to finally start accepting her change in appearance really meant everything to her. She opened one of her duffle bags and retrieved all the presents she bought from Wyoming. First, she went into Geller's room, placing quite a large box on his bed. Inside the box was a beanie with the name "Hair Gel" embroided in the back, and in the front was an embroided wolf skull. Also in the box was another smaller box, but red. And in the red box was sex toys for him and Jenna. Not that they really needed it, but it was more for a joke. Maya was the next room she ventured in. Dee placed a sturdy, straw cowboy hat with a pink strap that went around the hat and pink stars in the front. She also placed a pair of pink star cowboy boots with pink fringes dangling from the sides on the bed. Since Venus didn't live with them, she would have to give her the present in person, so she moved onto the next room, Zoe's. Zoe and Nike were the most difficult to pick presents out because she didn't know them all that well. On the bed, Zoe would find a perfectly fitted pure leather jacket, and on the back was a red rose and rhinestone design. After all their gifts were placed on the bed, she went downstairs, through the courtyard, and inside Nike's apartment only to find it extremely dark and quiet. She didn't know exactly where Nike slept, so she placed her present on the coffee table in her living room. Nike would find an all diamond necklace with a ruby heart. Once all the presents were in their proper places, she would go back to her room and admire the dress Geller bought. Well, no one was home, night would be approaching soon, and she felt the sudden urge to bar hop tonight. Why not on Bourbon Street?

The black little number fitted over her slender, hourglass sculpture perfectly. The top hem swooped low to allow those full, luscious breasts divulge as the bottom hem stopped mid-thigh to adorn her long, smooth legs. Black strappy heels with gold stilettos brought her up two inches taller than her normal height, and her long, thick obsidian curls cascaded down to dance against the middle of her back. Her beautiful, cherub portrait was painted with make-up; foundation to match perfectly with her light complexion, a hint of floral blush on her cheeks, ruby red gloss to announciate her lush swells, and heavy black eyeliner to enhance the deep chocolate color of her orbs. She climbed into the cab that led straight to the happening, lively Bourbon Street that was already beginning to crowd. Music of Jazz, cover bands, techno, hip hop, and dance was the loud noise in the background. The scent of alcohol, vomit, and piss was heavy within the drunken atmosphere all the time, and all sorts of people of all age groups paraded the streets. The first bar of the night she sauntered in was Bourbon Street Blues Company where a cover band was playing a familiar Journey song. It was packed, crowded, and alive. Everyone was dancing and singing to "Don't Stop Believing" and Dee slid into a vacant spot between people, ordering straight Jack to the bar tender. With a drink in one hand, she leaned up against the bar and angled her body to face the cover band, singing along with the crowd.

Santino stood against the bar, while wearing his usual attire, that of a business suit pants, and jacket, with a button up shirt and tie, and a fedora. Today's selection of attire was of a brown color, with a black shirt. He was facing the crowd and the band. However, his attention was not on the band, but the people, even as with one hand, he flipped through options on his phone. He was really starting to get the hang of this thing! After a moment, it would close, and it would be stuffed with his hand into his pants pocket. His eyes perused the crowd, as always searching for unique people in the crowd. His shields would be up, but he would let a small amount of that power leak from his feet into the ground. How he loved stone flooring, even if there was only a small portion in the flooring, there was still the reinforcements beneath the building that opted for easy transmitting of his power. Of course it meant he got a weaker response if he found someone, but it did the trick up until now. His eyes looked over the crowd, not really focusing on any one person, but continually searching.

Any tinge of power would be greeted with a glance of his eye, and the more intriguing the power, the more it would linger. Up until now, all he had sensed were humans. This city was full of them! Well, all cities were really, his sort were the minority, though sometimes it didn't feel like it. As he perused the crowd he couldn't help but think back on those he had met already, and began to wonder some about the sanity of a few individuals such as Nikolai, though their meeting was as brief as could be. As his mind dwelt on these things, his right hand would emerge from his pocket, and scratch at his beard. It was a habit he had since his earlier years. He still couldn't shake it.

After some time spent on his thoughts, he would turn his side to the bar, turning his gaze to those along the bar, just as Dee came up and ordered her drink. His eye would focus on her for a moment, curiously, before he'd turn to the bartender, and order a drink as well. In time, he would dispose of it to some needy looking drunk in the crowd, but for now it was for appearances.

Seem's everyone was returning home after some time way? Venus came home from LA only two days ago, and Dee came home today. Dee was never around when Venus was so no wonder why she didn't realize that Venus had been living with this family since New York and that was over a year now.  Naturally the home that Geller founded for this very large wolven pack was gigantic so it was hard really decipher who all lived in what part of the house. Sometimes that was a good thing. Sometimes that was a bad thing like situations like this?

Venus was listening to Van Halen's tune "Jamies cryin' to inspire her ham sandwich creation. Sound of the door was slightly heard from the kitchen and it caused the hand spreading mayo across the bun to cease it's progression.  The scent of Dee emanated all the way to those beautiful nostrils that inhaled the familiar friend companion whom she helped so much.  What a hard decision finish making the sandwich or go direction out into the main foyer to say hello -choices?  Eh, let Dee settle in first before hassling her with that over abundant leap to say welcome home.  Footsteps faded farther away giving Venus the presumption that her music wasn't to loud to be picked up by Dee. This was good because Venus certainly didn't wish to disturb Nike.  Okay the best part of living her was the fresh meats. Not like the meats you go off and buy in a packaging. No...no...no... Geller being the grandioso chief always stocked wholesome meats that certainly Venus speculated he added ingredients to spice it up.  Ham was cut into medium slices. Then placed in sections on her bun to bring a thickness one's mouth can only anxiously yearn to munch upon.

"Little lettuce and tomato mmmm" She carried on until her creation was complete. What really makes it hellish is when your stomach is growling for food. It's so difficult not wanting to leave the mess in the kitchen and horde off your nummy's to eat.  However --patience's is a freakin virtue. Few more minutes were spared in her starvation period to clean up the kitchen. Then she escorted her plate and soda of coke into the foyer. Standing there Venus yelled " WELCOME HOME DEE"

Normally she wanted company kinda interact. Do the girl talk. Not right now she wanted to eat and fall asleep desperately. Tomorrow was a long day to start doing her radio station show.  Tonight would be going over her script, viewing the highlights of music that should be played.  Good thing that Venus gave Dee that space as the woman was preparing to go out and experience lime-light of New Orleans partying. Towards her room she diverted hurriedly avoiding anymore delay to eat her scrumptious food.

Well, it was a little too late to say hello to Venus and give her the Wyoming souvenir because by the time Venus announced her presence, Dee was already out the door for a night on the town. Perhaps Sirus may meet up, or maybe other wolves she never met before, but in any case, she wanted to party.

She was standing by the bar, nodding her head to the cover band, drinking her straight Jack when the scent of the undead stung her nostrils, even in such a crowded place. Entwined within the scent of the oh so scary undead was the foreign aroma of desert sand, and it took her to a place of open, sandy mountains and desert storms. The only other vampire she ever met was Ramsey, and he always made sure his presence was known, but this one she has never met, and it seemed he was trying to blend in.

Black stiletto heels carried her lithe, hourglass frame towards the unfamiliar vampire. She weaved through the crowd so easily, like water seeping through every open crack, and squeezed herself into the spot right next to him. Ruby, lush swells smiled from cheek to cheek as she leaned in close to his body. "You would think that a cover band like this would probably have some original songs, but that's the thing about these cover bands on Bourbon street. They only play songs that people will drunk sing and dance to. And I gotta say this, it's definitely one of my guilty pleasures." She downed the rest of her Jack and ordered another one from the bar tender, telling him to keep them coming. She then extended soft, delicate hand to him. "Name's Euridacee, but you can call me Dee for short. What's your name handsome?"

His drink came, and he held it one hand as he'd gaze at Dee. My she was a forward one, but there was nothing wrong with that. In fact, her approach would be given a wide smile in response, as he'd take that extended hand lightly within his grasp, cupping her fingers within his own, and bringing said hand to his lips. He'd place a kiss upon her knuckles, as he'd respond.

"Buona Sera, bellissima. È un piacere incontrarlo."

He would grin even wider, and gently release her hand, as he'd lean in a bit closer to her, while pressing up to the bar once more, to give the illusion of a crowd too loud to hear each other in conversation. "I am Santino." He'd say, finally introducing himself.

With how close they were, he'd take the time to admire her physique, and the power that would waft off of her along with her scent. He was all kinds of lucky, meeting so many wolves so quickly after arriving in town, but it did seem that no matter what town you went to, the wolves were the more predominant of the lycanthrope breeds.

silent hated quite days. but there seemed to be a bunch of those lately. the tourist season was in full swing with jazzfest going on...seemed like she never got a moment to breath...as for ash....since the last moon she hadnt even caught the briefest glance of her mate...and while yes silent was sure that he was with llydia..the wolf side would always claime his. but tonight that wasnt where her thoughts laid...no...well not really. they always lingered. but still her thoughts roamed to the male who haunted her dreams since the night in the cafe...so much about him...reminded her...of..of..shut up silent. she would tell herself. the one who haunted her was dead...at least to her...yet..stopping dead as she caught that scent...those tri colored hues searching as she made her way into the bar...why did this random stranger haunt her now?

From across the bar, he'd see Silent again. This was shaping up to be a promising evening. As he held Dee's hand, and placed a kiss upon her knuckles, he'd toss a wink over to Silent. Of course, he'd set 'his drink' down, and wave her over as well. Surely, it would be more fun if they were together, and with someone else nearby surely her fears of what he might do would subside, for why would he try something with others around? He grinned towards Silent, as he awaited her to join them, and awaited Dee's response to his own greeting and introduction.

The color of a soft pink blushed from her cheeks when he took her hand into his own, and planted a sweet kiss upon her knuckles. Man, she hasn't received a greeting like that in a long time! Actually, in fact, never?! This vampire was quite the charmer.

And when he spoke Italian to her, her head tilted to the side just a bit, like the beast inside when confused, and furrowed her slender brows. "Uhhh...say what?" Honestly, she didn't understand a word he just said, and that made her appear either retarded, or she is a person that does not speak more than one language.

Then he told his name. Santino. Well surely, the name matched the language, and his attractive, Italian features as well. "Nice to meet you Santino. So how are you liking New Orleans so far?"

Just then, the smell of pack stung her nostrils like a swarm of attacking bees. She knew this scent before. She smelled this same aroma when she got incredibly high and wasted at the Hookah one night and crashed in the back. In fact, it was the same scent she also smelled at the full moon gathering. When those glistening emerald jewels followed the invisible fume of swamp, they looked upon a woman with extremely colorful hair, and tri-color eyes. Hair Gel and Sirus told Dee about Silent, and what she looked like. Hair Gel also told Dee that Silent would be the leader of the wolf pack as well, but no news on that yet.

When Silent approached, Dee would rub her cheeks against the woman's in the wolfy greeting, and deeply inhaled her swampy perfume, etching it within her own timber wolf. "About damn time I get to meet the infamous Silent! I've been waiting for this since I moved here. How you doin!" Dee patted Silent's back. She then turned to Santino, and exchanged names. "Oh Silent, meet my newly found Italian blood sucker friend named Santino. Santino, this is Silent." A smile creased those crimson, lush swells.

The pink blush made him grin even wider, as he continued to hold her delicate hand. Her declaration that she didn't understand what he said merely made him chuckle within, but an explanation of what he said would be put on hold for now. Her reactions to him were priceless, and though he was not one to delight in instilling fear, or lust, or any other emotion for that matter, and feeding on it like other vampires, he did find personal pleasure in how he affected her. He was about to answer her question on his opinions of New Orleans, when she too spotted Silent. He had already waved her over, but Dee then went calling out to her. What joy! They knew each other! It pleased him that the wolves were in contact, which incidentally gave him the reminder that he'd have to call Zachary soon.

Santino released Dee's hand, and slid his arm around Dee's waist, opening up his position, to offer a hand out to Silent's approach, if she so chose to get near him now that she knew his name. In their first meeting, just his voice was enough for her to want to keep her distance. He still wasn't sure why.

It never was a Silent was ignoring the future pack memebers or advoiding them. She just simplily was never in the right place right time situation..That and her mind battled the idea of claiming a city where her own ulfric was. He had yet to confirm he wasnt going to lead... Ans now her personal issue with the ghost of the past..well her mind was one large cluster fuck of what the hell am i to do. But needless to say Dees greeting was welcomed. Ane returned. How nice it was to ......Tri colored hues moved to Santino..Her breath catching...Even his name...How much this man reminded her of another who bore the same name...This must be some kind of cruel joke. "come mai" Is all she could say...He didnt feel near as old as him... Silent would lean into dee. That small swamp wolf curling around that of the woman...It personally wasnt happy one bit with this situation.....At all. "Yea..We kinda met before...All of us actually..Nyx and me kept a eye on you...Next time..Youll have to try my capts brew." It wasnt much but it broke the ice....And so far she wasnt throwing up her sheilds and going to the once home of the master of new orleans home....Not yet that is.

Santino remained silent, letting the two wolves discuss for now. There was still much to learn, especially since Silent was so withdrawn from him. He would find out why eventually, but piecing that puzzle together would be put secondary to the goings on of the evening. He'd watch Silent's behavior, and how Dee responded to her. He'd take advantage of the wonderful opportunity he had, and get a feel for Silent's power and scent, since she wasn't shielding herself at the moment. He'd smile lightly because of such, and lean back further against the bar counter. He'd pluck up the drink he had ordered, and held it out to Silent. He'd off her a light grin.

It wasn't out of the norm for Dee when strange men seemed to touch her, or wanting to be close to her. She quite enjoyed the attention, since Sirus hasn't been around. Not that Dee would ever cheat on him or anything, but they weren't really together, were they? She received a note from him the other night explaining that he had to go take care of things, and he had to leave New Orleans for awhile. All the wolves in the house have been gone, just when Dee returned from her small vacation. She felt more comfortable in the company of others anyways, so why not venture out into the city to find some?

When Santino slid his hand upon her waist, opening his body towards Silent, she duly noted that Silent was hesistant. Did Silent not like vampires? Did she have some sort of thing with vampires like Nathaniel did? Silent broke the ice when she mentioned that her and Nyx took care of her that god awful night, and that she should try her Captain's Brew. "Yes, I'll definitely have to do that. I'll have to stop by again at the Hookah, come visit you and Nyx." A warm, gentle smile creased those obsidian lush swells.

Standing around talking wasn't a Dee sort of thing. She loved adventures, she loved acting wild and crazy, she did not like standing around and talking. So, when the shot girl came around with some trays, she slilghtly elbowed Santino in the chest, motioning to watch. Dee called the shot girl over. "HEY! PUT SOME SHOTS IN MY MOUTH!!" The young, teen shot girl came over, placed a tube between her breasts, and Dee leaned over, allowing her tongue to curl around the tube from the girl's chest. She rummaged her face between the girl's breasts as the girl laughed, and then she plucked the tube and leaned backwards, allowing the blue liquid beam down her throat. She leaned forward, and raised her fist in the air. "WOOOOO!!" She shouted, and the rest of the drunkards shouted with her.

She then made a space on the bar by moving a few glasses down. She leaned backwards, laying her head upon the counter, and with both hands, pointed to her mouth. "PUT IT IN MY MOUTH!" She screamed, her body dancing to the hip hop music that boomed from the speakers, as the bar tender poured a mixture of Crown and Jack from the bottles into her mouth. And everyone in the bar yelling, "Go! Go! Go!" She leaned up with her arms in the air. "WOOOOOOO!"

It would be readily apparent that Silent was trying to avoid conversation with him, and he didn't know why. He didn't dwell on it for long, because he would find out sooner or later why it was. For now, he sat back and stayed out of the conversation to let them talk. He would gather information the old fashioned way, if he had to. The corners of his mouth would quirk up in a show of slight amusement as they spoke of someone he didn't know yet.

As it became apparent that conversation wasn't Dee's thing, he would simply continue to watch. He'd pay for any and all drinks Dee had, even Silent if she decided to join in. He would blend into the scenery, at this point, almost as if he were trying to melt away into the scene of things for now. He'd find Dee increasingly amusing, as she took a shot from between the girls breast, and then leaned against the bar for another.

He'd keep his amusement within, and not show it off for now, as he'd watch to see where this lively behaviour would take the evening.
