The tall russian man had recently made his way to the southern end of Louisiana. To where some call the Vampire's Mecca, New Orleans. He really didn't know why it was called that, the buildings almost all had large windows. And as every vampire worth his fangs knows, lots of large windows means more work to sunproof. He easily got a small house in the suburbs, And being quite meticulous, had covered the windows with contact paper, which showed a cozy interior to anyone looking in the glass. Past that, the panes were Boarded and sealed from within using various tools of modern carpentry. He had arranged for a high-speed internet connection, and was absently searching the web for something that he could pass the time with. He came across the internet want-ads, and saw a new club wanting a bouncer. He had done this, before, but the site also wanted blood donors. That caught his eye. So, this would be a vampire friendly establishment. Which meant human bouncers would be nothing more than for show.
He typed the number into his cell phone, still not used to these 'smart' phones. Why does a phone need to be smart anyways? When the green button was pushed, he held the speaker up to his ear, waiting for someone to answer. "Da. I am calling about the advertisement on the interweb, madchen." He used his native word for girl. "I believe you would benefit from my services as a bouncer, especially if you plan on having vampire clientele. Humans would be like toys for my kind, and so, I think you'd better hire some Kindred for your security." He would wait for a response, as he didn't even know if this was the woman he needed to talk to.
He moved around his small abode, and gathered some parchment, and a mechanized quill, so he could write down whatever information was to be provided for him. He had already fed, so the thirst was sated for the night, and he had a positively human glow about him. And he was actually warm....ish.

Astrid had just gotten off the phone with Tempeste as she would jump as it began to ring blinking some as she looked at the phone since it did scare her somewhat. Before letting her slender hand pick it up as she answer the phone. " Hello, Astrid speaking . " Listen as a male voice began to speak from the other end of the phone. " I think you are right ,Sir. I am looking for some kindred to help with keeping the vampires in check. So would you like to set up a interview ? " Astrid would wait for his answer.
Once he answer her question as she tap her pen on the desk some. " Well I have a 9 PM
Wednesday opening for a interview would that be a ok time for you Mr? " Since he never gave her his name so she could write it in her book. " What I will need is a resume if you have one."
"Da. Yes. Wednesday night at 2100 hours. I will be there. And you may call me Nikolai. Nikolai Kasyanov." Even though he'd had over 300 years of his unlife, he had never wanted to change his accent as many vampires had. He was proud of his heritage, and in a small way it kept his father's spirit alive in his heart, no matter how cold and still it got.
"I will make sure to eat early that night, but please, if you have any women having their moonblood, tell them to come in after the interview. I would not like to appear distracted." His frame settled back in the chair after writing the details down. "Spesiba, Astrid. Thank you. I do not think I would have enjoyed spending the majority of my nights alone." He gracefully tossed the pen in his hand, it arced through the air and landed in it's cup precisely.
" Alright. Perfect. Mr. Nikolai Kasyanov " Astrid would tuck some hair behind her ear as she wrote down his name in her book and what day and time his interview was. " I will make sure that there are no distractions during are interview. And I wouldn't want you to spend your nights alone with a city this big and alive. I will see you Wednesday. And have a good night Nikolai "
