After the meeting in the park and the invitation she had been offered, Lou decided to touchbase with Silent, wanting her to know what she thought. She dug out Silent's cell phone, starting to dial the number and hanging up more then once before finally taking a deep breath and waiting until the she heard the sound of the ring. She twisted a long curl of hair, waiting for Silent's voice, huffing softly when it was the greeting of her message.
"Um, hey Silent. Its Lou. I... I wanted you to know I met this guy... this vampire... Ramsey. I just... I don't know I just wanted to talk. I'll try to catch you later. Bye."
She hung up quickly, before she gave into the impulse to delete the message.
Silent had been out of sorts...With the start of the major tourist season...The unsure feelings of having seen ash and lydia once again...those memories she thought died with the insanity that had been romerussianewyork. They all had her drawing closer to Nyx.And the hookah as she slowly tried to man control over the diva cooks. Which was exactly what she had been doing when Lou had called.
The vibrating had been insane...If not a tad bit enjoyable?(as if anyone could blame her)But she didnt move fast enough to answer the phone...Or the pot that was being thrown at her.Growling some she would leave the kitchen and make for the safety of her office she would flop downon the cot and pull out her phone.
After the message played she would smile some. What was it with them two and the vampire world. Finding her number.
"Lou. Its Sil. Lets go grab a bite to eat and you can tell me all about him...oh...And that mate i was telling you about....Hes here...And so is the...woman."
And yes even after all these years...Calling Llydia something other then what she truely felt left a bitter taste in her mouth
The sound of the phone ringing had her jumping a bit, lost as she'd been in thought. She grabbed the receiver, answering quickly, a flicker of a smile at the voice on the other end.
"Food? Great. Want me to meet you at the Hookah or what? Just say where and I'm there."
She was eager to meet with Silent, needing someone to talk to but even aside from that, she missed the other woman.
