Dakota was bored. And a bored kitty was a really baaaad thing. Sprawled in her chair infront of the mixing boards, she whined at Ace.
"Come onnnnn. Bella's not going to mind if you come out with me!! Pleeeeeease???"
Ace just chuckled and shook his head. "D, I told you. We already got plans. You'll be fine. Why not hit up those new friends of yours? Bribe em with a home cooked meal. Bet they won't turn you down."
Kota sighed, and flailed in her chair, finally flopping limp again and after thinking for a few minutes, she grabbed for her iphone, and started texting out the message to Otis, Alex and Theo.
"Hey guys...boredome has set in and i'm apparently driving Ace nuts. Up for doing anything tonight? Dinner and a movie? I'll cook!"
Message was sent, and she tossed the phone back on the counter, giving another whine and flops as she waited for one or all of them to text her back.

Theo picked up his phone when it started buzzing. He unlocked it and read the text from Dakota. He shifted carefully, rubbing his hand over Alex's head. His little brother felt like shit, so he'd been sitting with him for most of the day. He managed to type a message back.
/Hey Kota, we're kind of home-bodies tonight. If you wanna come over that's cool. Alex is still kind of rough after the moon./
When her phone played it's little song, telling her she'd recieved a text. Reaching from her slumped pose in the chair, she grabbed the phone, and unlocked it. Yay for Iphones locking themselves after a few minutes. Reading the text from Theo had a smile on her lips, and she quickly typed a reply back.
"Cool, I'll stop at the store when i leave here and pick up what I need to make dinner. Texted Otis too. waiting for reply. See you around 6ish"
Now if the big rat would just reply, she'd know how much she had to get at the store.
Nicklebacks 'Rockstar' chimed from his phone causing him to retrieve it from the counter where it had been tossed earlier. Beer in one hand he grasped the phone to take a look at the message. "Free food? Fuckin' a." He slid the phone open to reveal the keyboard, putting down the beer to respond.

"Milo! I'm out!" He shouted through the house before grasping his beer and heading out the door.
Kota grinned seeing the reply from Otis when it came in, and made a quick text back.
Alright. See you there. Be hungry!
Popping out of her chair, she tucked her phone in her back pocket, and grabbed her purse. Leaning down she nuzzled Ace. "Have fun with Bella" A smile on her lips, and she was out the door. Time to go shopping!!!
